Trouble in Paradise: A lesson for Police Forces and Services

Policing is the easiest job I have ever done. However, it is not a job for the foolish, those who are weak in heart or one who cannot take his or her own initiative. From my studies of my practicing policing, I have concluded that even though those who practices policing and most who manages these law enforcement institutions often seems to equate the functions and objective of these organizations as full military; but such institute are considered paramilitary. Although most of its functions mirror that of the military; there nature, there functions, objectives and the duties the police forces/services are asked to perform; as well as, the demographic they are required serve; requires a generally different approach in the execution of the duties.

Each police officer has a professional obligation to understand his or her duties and his responsibilities as it relates to the law (s) they are expected to uphold. My police brothers and sisters must always remember, their superior officers are there to guide them, to protect the community’s rights from indiscriminate officers and their actions and to ensure they function within the frame work of the law. In other words; Supervisors/managers are there to ensure the job is done in a cost effective, professional manner while preserving the rights of all involved, even the rights of the accuse person.

It is important to note; a superior officer, cannot/should not instruct his junior to break the law. A senior officer does not have the authority to violate the rights of any person he or she supervises and every order that is given by any such person in authority must be a “LAWFUL” order. A junior police officer, has no obligation, to execute or comply with any unlawful order and it matters not where or from whom that order came.

Whilst a serving member of the Bermuda Police Service; I was unlawfully slapped with 26 internal charges. The authority did so because I refused to comply with what I have deemed and justifiable proven to be unlawful orders. Charges I was not afraid to face. It is more important for me to practice integrity at all times and suffer the consequences, then to compromise my standards. So I simply choose not to surrender my rights and it was my right not to comply with any unlawful order. I took the time to point out to my superiors using the law, why I cannot lawfully and in good conscience complying with their instructions. Unfortunately, it would not have facilitated their general intentions, if my supervisors were to comply with the rule of law.

Another point I will like my brothers in blue to understand is; A superior officer, should only give lawful instruction, they can even tell you how to execute the assignment; however, when you arrives at the scene, you has an obligation to yourself, your duties and the people you are required to interact with; to do the following things on arrival at the scene.

• Evaluate the situation.

• Deal with the situation base on your evaluation

• Make adjustment in your mannerism, attitude and your general course of action as the conditions changes.

There are three important points I will like my police brothers to take note of and they are:

1. No junior police officer is entitled or has any obligation to comply with or execute any unlawful instruction.

2. No junior police officer has any obligation, to comply with instructions that will cause them (the officers) to break/violate any laws within the jurisdiction where he or she practices.

3. And no police officer is obligated to comply with any instructions that will cause them to violate the rights of another or their own rights.

When an individual enlists to become a police officer, the first thing that took place is; the swearing in of the officer. He or she takes an oath; they swear and they are expected to be obligated to, uphold the law without fear or favor. What this oath is saying? It is says, a police officer’s first and primary obligation is to the upholding of the law and he or she must do so without fear of anyone, that is: without fear of the criminal and without fear of his superiors; not granting any special favor to criminal or any special favor to complainant, lawyer, Prime Minister etc. he or she must apply the laws and the conditions of the law with an unbiased loyalty.

It is important to note, any time the actions of a police officers, contravenes the law, anyone’s rights or runs contrary to the code of conduct that is expected of such professionals; it is expected that the offending officer, should be held responsible and accountable for his or her actions. It is important to note, it matters not who gives the instructions. A good example of this is: Corporal Casanki Quow, Police Constable (PC) Hadley Ballentyne and PC Osrick James of the St. Vincent and the Grenadines Police Force, who were charge with assault causing actual bodily harm. This assault was apparently inflicted on a school child. These officers were tried and found guilty of the offence they were charged with. The officers appealed their convictions, but what was unfortunate for the three lawmen, their conviction upheld by The Eastern Caribbean Court of Appeal.

This brings me to the main focus of this discourse. On 2nd day of March 2011, the events in the St. Vincent that led to the speaker of the St. Vincent House of Parliament, instructing the Leader of the opposition Hon. Arnhim Eustace to leave the house of parliament. Unfortunately this matter escalated to the point where elected and appointed members of the house of parliament were allegedly forcefully removed from the building that houses the St. Vincent Parliament. It was also reported that appointed and elected members of the opposition allegedly sustained serious injuries.

It is important for practicing police officers, to always give thought to what they are about to do, before they do it; as a matter of fact, this should be a general rule for everyone. We must also be reminded there are right and wrong ways of executing lawful duties and police officers ought to use common sense and good judgment when there is no protocol in place for the execution of specific duties.

What should have happened?

It is important to note, that in matters of peace keeping, the primary objectives of the police is to:

1. Ensuring that order is maintain.

2. Ensure the restoration of order when such seizes to exist.

3. Once order has been restored, the police ought to put suitable measures in place to prevent the reoccurrence of disorder.

When it comes to peace keeping, preserving order, the restoration of order and general law enforcement the police are the professional. They are required to address such matter base on their knowledge, their experience, their training and their assessment of the situation. They also has an obligation, apply those characteristics that puts them in the best possible position, to deal with such issues when the needs arises. They must come to the best possible solution for all involved; this requires quick and clear thinking, good judgment and unwavering actions.

No politician, medical doctor or PhD, Lawyer, Judge etc. ought to tell the police how to execute his or her lawful duty. The police have the tools required to bring resolution to problems and it is the officer’s best judgment that counts. The police officer will be out of his place to tell the politician, the doctor, the lawyer or any professional how to practice his or her craft. When a police officer’s actions, falls outside the scope of the law, it is the officer who is expected to face the courts or other tribunal; bearing this in mind, a police officer has to be foolish; to abundant his better judgment and allow others to impose their opinion on him or her as to what and how things ought to be done.

Here we had a situation, where the Speaker of the House of Parliament asked the Leader of the opposition to leave the place of his employment: The St. Vincent parliament. Mr. Eustace refused to leave on ground of principled; as a result, the other members of the opposition peacefully went and create a barrier in order to prevent his removal; in an act of civil disobedience. The million dollar question is; do the police have a protocol to deal with such occurrences? If not, is there a professional manner to deal with such situation? Unfortunately; the police do not have a protocol, which they are expected to follow when dealing with such incidents. I will be providing a protocol to be followed in situation such as the one that ended in chaos. I only hope, Commissioner Miller is big enough to objectively review this protocol and implement such if it meets the need of the St. Vincent and the Grenadines Police Force.

In the event such incident should occur in the House of Parliament again; and I have no doubt it will, or in any official functions, the following steps should be taken. I will apply this protocol to the incident that occurred on the 2nd day of March 2011.

i. The senior officer who is detail to keep order in the house, should have approached the leader of the opposition or if the Leader of the opposition were inaccessible because of the barrier that was formed around him; then the senior officer should address each person individually, informing them of the offence they are committing or inform the person that his or her action or his or her failure to comply with instruction is likely to cause a breach of the peace.

ii. They (the offenders) should also be informed the police have the authority to arrest anyone whose actions are likely to cause a breach of the peace and failure to withdraw from their action or failure to comply with the order would be resulted in their arrest.

iii. “One by one,” each person who failed to desist from the specific actions or who fail to comply with the instruction of the police officer; should have their liberty taken away (arrest). Being under arrest and in an orderly manner; the prisoners (arrested person) should be escorted out of the parliament.

iv. If the level of disrespect exhibited to the police by the prisoner was so outrageous that an example need to be made then the prisoner may be have relevant charges laid against them and taken to court.

v. Or when the prisoners (offenders) are out of the environment, where he or she is no longer a threat or can no longer cause a breach of the peace, the potential offender or offender’s liberty could be restored but not before being warned not to return to the house of parliament until they are legally required to do so.

vi. This procedure should be followed and applied by the police, without fear or favor and should be apply to anyone who so choose to misconduct themselves in the house on grounds of principle or out of disrespect and it should be applied to Prime Minister, Senator and all position between.

It is important for us to bear in mind; an arrested person’s liberty can be restored at any point after his arrest. In cases where the arrest was to avoid a breach of the peace, when that person is no longer in a position where his or her actions or lack thereof, can cause a breach of the peace, their liberty should be restore.

This should be the protocol, the police should employ when dealing with such incident in the future. After all, the house of parliament is supposed to be a dignified place, where the business of state is dealt with and such business should be handled in a dignified and professional manner. Therefore the police should also be dignify in there conduct and such dignity should be employ when dealing with the hon. Men and woman whom the people elect to serve their country.

In conclusion; if the allegations that was propagated, as it relates to the events of the 2rd day of March 2011, is proven to be true; then the actions of the police officers involved, were unprofessional, inhumane, and amount up to an abuse of power. Any police officer (s) who forcefully tosses; pushes or intentionally cause any one to fall down such highly pitched stairs, and the victims sustains injuries in the process as allegedly occurred in St. Vincent and the Grenadines, those police officers can face possible criminal charges.

To take away our fleeting breath and cause the life we hold so dear,

What is death that men may fear? A predator that roams the mind,
A mystery vague, an odor faint, a bright color fading over time,
A vision clear, yet we cannot see, a precious life that ceased to be.

Nature, Humanity and Homosexuality

Homosexuality, is one of the most defile indulgences that is practiced in civil society. It is so for several reasons, which are: it goes contrary to the laws of nature, against human sexuality, against Yahweh’s word/law, and because it is not practice naturally by the animal kingdom: those creatures that are considered to be, less intelligent than us human. However; there are some who are now teaching, the lower members of the animal kingdom to indulge in homosexual acts.

Unlike humans, who are plagued with the adoption of habits that follows families for generation and thus cast a blight or bless families with the habits that constituted a family traditions and cycles. However; it is not so with members of the animal kingdom. The offspring are not affected by the habit of the parents or the customs of the pack, flock, school etc. but they adopt their habits base on their survival needs.

For example a child of a thief, will learn from his parents, the skills and temperament of a thief; he will learn such subliminally and otherwise and therefore, if there isn’t the appropriate, timely and serious intervention that child may become a career or habitual thief. If a domestic dog was taught by its owner, how to steal; that dog will apply that which it was taught, for to do otherwise will impact its treatment by the owner; and by extension, its survival. In other words; it will impact or threatens the dog’s survival so he complies. There is not a chance that pups born to that dog will ever pick up the ability to steal, becomes aggressive, or any other habits because its parent (s) had those traits. However; if condition merits, the dog steals to survive, then it will; never because it learn the traits from its parents.

It is safe to say, we as earthly creatures, with the highest level of intelligence there is, have managed to turn the gift of higher senses, understanding, knowledge, perception and communication into a curse. This is evident, in the way we destroy the society and community in which we live; in the way we make a mess of our marriages and family, the way we nurture our children into becoming such terrible people etc.

Human uses their intelligence to destroy themselves, their society, the other creatures that shares the earth with us as well as earth; by moving away from the things that are natural, violating the laws of nature and ignoring the laws and other instructions of Yahweh: The creator of man and everything that exist, had prescribed for us to live sound, healthy and spiritual lives.

While human with his intelligence defies nature, and rejects the way of the creator; yet members of the animal kingdom through instinct, continue to follow the instruction of their creator and the laws of nature.

Lets take a look at a pack of lions, you will noticed that the roles of the gender are still the same, the manner in which they operate and live are as Yahweh have ordained it. The birds still fly south and the beers still hibernates in the winter; the monkeys still lives in trees and they still socializes and nurture their young as nature requires and Yahweh commanded. There is one thing that is common among animals; wile and domesticated, which is: their manner and purpose of mating has not changes.

There reason for mating is for procreation, the time and manner in which it is done, remains the same. It is important to note; intercourse does not take place outside its season and or at the correct times; for them mating is not about pleasure but to preserve the species. It is also important that I point out, the manner for mating is still the same; the male has intercourse only with the female and the female has intercourse only with the male.

So why have human strayed so far from the laws of nature and the laws of his creator?

Among the religious community it is believed the deterioration the human kind is experiencing, is as a results of sin; while the average person rationalized and concludes the reason can be attributed to things such as greed, the love for power, lust of the flesh, hate etc. whatever the reason you attributes to the demise of the human species to; there is one thing we all can agree on is; the Human Species is in a free fall and it seems there is nothing to reduced the speed at which we are falling; to stop or to break our fall. In other words, we are plunging to our own destruction.

You may ask, where homosexuality came from.

From my knowledge, the first mention of homosexuality is found in the book of Leviticus 18:22; Yahweh informed his people and later in Leviticus 20: 13; he reminded his chosen people the Israelites that it is an abomination for a man to lie with man as he does with a woman. Later in the bible we learn that the city of Sodom and Gomorrah was destroyed because the sins of the people of Sodom, which was mainly sins of homosexuality was so wide spread and offended the awesome, righteous, perfect and holy creator God.

I do not know what was the reason for such practice in ancient time, but it is believe that the Greeks and the Romans hold fast to the concept that when a man have sex with another man, he actually took that man's power; therefore, the victim became subject to the aggressor. As a result, it was the objective of men of means and power to have sexual intercourse with as many men as possible; thus maintaining a high standing, on the social, economical, and religious ladder.

It was also believed that little boys and young men will one day grow up to be men of means, prestige and power. Whoever violates that little boy or young man will be elevated above whatever pinnacle that person attained. So the rape and sexual exploitation of little boys and young men were widely practiced.

Like any raped victim or victim of sexual abuse, their abusers or rapist holds a manipulative control over his or her victims; a control that has fear of exposure of the shame that is associated with his or her violation; thus the victims become subliminally, and otherwise subjected to the abuser. It becomes almost impossible for the victims or abuse person to refuse granting a favor or request of his abuser; even a request for sex.

This is why Yahweh prescribes death to anyone who participate in homosexuality, because in doing so they become subject to a control that should only be held by Yahweh. It makes it almost impossible, for the victims to every serve Yahweh in the manner in which he should be served: as Creator God. It must also be known' most victims go on to create sexual victims of there own and such, may mark the beginning, of a vicious cycle. A cycle that can eventually contaminate an entire generation as what happens in Sodom and Gomorrah. So when Yahweh destroyed Sodom and Gomorrah and all that moved in that city by fire, he was just executing the punishment that was the consequence of their homosexuality as was outlined in Yahweh's words in Leviticus.

Is Yahweh A Chauvinistic God? Or Is He Just The Creator God

460Before you attempt to read this article, you need to answer a few questions; you are not answering these questions for me but for your soul’s salvation. It is important that you answer these questions intelligently and honestly. Below are the questions I suggest you should answer before continuing this article.

• Do you believe Yahweh to be, the creator of the Universe and everything in it?

• Do you believe Yahweh is perfect, Righteous and Just in all of his actions?

• Do you believe that Yahweh has the right to do with his creatures whatever he wishes?

• Do you believe that whatever Yahweh did for us or decides to do with us, to us, for us and through us will be in our best interest?

• Do you believe that Yahweh has the right to justly destroy all of humanity if he so pleases?

• Do you believe and accept the bible to be the expressed word of Yahweh?

• Do you believe that there is nothing recorded in the Holy Bible that Yahweh did not want recorded there?

• According to the story that is recorded in the bible, which addressed the un-sanctified activities of the devil in Heaven; do you think the Devil was out of his place for aspiring to and for taking action to be like his creator?

• Do you think the manner in which Yahweh's dealt with Lucifer (Devil) was Justify?

Now that you have answered the above questions, you can read on.

The Bible has only one authority, which is Elshaddi; the Father, Son and the Holy Ghost. Within this trinity there is an organizational structure, with Yahweh as the supreme of the three, Jesus the son of Yahweh and the Holy Spirit which is the Spirit of Yahweh. Although each member of the God Head has different assignment/responsibilities they are the same in objective: which is to bring unending fulfillment and joy to all of Yahweh’s created beings.

Is Yahweh a chauvinistic God?

Although the plan of salvation is free, each person must; (for themselves) make a decision whether they want salvation or not, then they are required to accept the priceless gift which is without cost. A sign that one has accepted Yahshua’s (Jesus’) gift of salvation is their obedience to his father; Yahweh’s words. We must also come to an understanding that everything Yahweh, his son Jesus, the Holy Spirit and or the Angels ever did and or said, will ever do and or say were/are deliberate and is only a very minute part of a colossal, detail and complicated master plan that has universal implication.

Let us take a walk through the bible, the word of Yahweh and see the significant and the roles of the genders, as was planned by Yahweh. What better place to start than the book of the Beginning Genesis: Let us begin with Genesis 1: which give a synopsis of the whole creation leaving out the lengthy detail of what actually took place. In Genesis 1: 26; Elshaddi said, "Let us make man in our own image and give 'THEN' dominion over all the earth." This statement by itself can give the impression that the man and the woman are equal and therefore had equal responsibility, but this is not so. Hence the reason Yahweh took the time in Chapter 2 of Genesis to go into some details as to what actually took place and in doing do actually define the roles and the importance of the genders in the whole scheme of things.

Let us take a look at this. In Genesis Chapter 2: 15. “And the Lord took the man and put him in the Garden which was located east of Eden, which is by name the Garden of Eden. In the summery of creation on the earth as is stated in Gen. 1:26 Yahweh use the *plural pronoun “THEM” to qualify his overall plan for human kind as it related to Yahweh’s earthly creation. They (human Kind) were to be in charge of Yahweh’s creation. But in Gen.2: Yahweh used the definite pronoun “THE” man in speaking of Adam. Let us take some time to reexamine some interesting facts about the Creation that you are aware of and put them in their right prospective.

Yahweh develops a relationship with “THE MAN.”

Yahweh took the time to give “THE” man or the first man the opportunity to develop a one on one relationship with him. This was to prepare the first man for his God appointed responsibilities. Adam was to be responsible for the Earth and its inhabitants and accountable to Yahweh. In order for the first man: Adam, to be able to execute his sacred obligation as Yahweh would have him; Adam needed to know who his creator was; what the benefits of loyalty to his creator were, what the expectations were, and what were the benefits to be derived from the relationship.

This was accomplished in several ways.

• Although man did not witness the awesome creative wonder of Yahweh, he saw the Great God of the Universe at work. Gen. 2: 8 for after man was created Yahweh planted a garden east of Eden. The woman was not yet created.

• Yahweh took time to relocate the man from where he was created: Eden, to the Garden which Yahweh had planted East of Eden. The woman was not yet created.

• Yahweh told the man what are his limitation within the Garden; which was to eat of every tree of the Garden except for the tree of the knowledge of Good and evil. The woman was not yet created.

• Then came, man’s first assignment, which is recorded in Gen.2 19-22; Yahweh brought every created thing to Adam (the First man) to see what he will call them. One by one Yahweh introduced his creatures into The Garden of Eden, Adam’s new home. Here Adam was blessed with the privilege of naming every living thing that Yahweh created. The Woman was not yet created.

• After Yahweh had formulated a relationship with the first man: Adam, then the woman was created and Adam also had the privilege of naming, even the woman as is outlined in Genesis 2:23; and Adam said this is bones of my bone and flesh of my flesh she shall be called woman because she was taken from man.

There are two things I will like to make note of:

• From the account of what took place the woman was the last of Yahweh’s creation and she was the only being that was not created in Eden but was created in the Garden that was planted east of Eden.

• Every creature including the man bore witness to the creation of the woman.

• Let us move over to Genesis 3: and there is recorded the fall of man. It took but a moments for woman committed spiritual suicide, not satisfied with destroying herself she then teamed up with the devil to destroy the remainder of Yahweh’s earthly creation. She brought corruption and death to every tree every beast of the field but most of all man. Now because of the deceptive action of the woman; every man and creature that entered into this sin cursed earth are doomed to suffer the plague that is associated with sin. With one decision, the woman destroyed the perfect Earth that Elshaddi had spent seven days creating.

• Of all the created being the woman was the youngest, she had the lease experience and therefore she knew Yahweh the lease; yet, she took it on herself, without counsel from Yahweh and or the man to make the biggest decision that could have been made.

From that day, the woman believes she has the rights and dominion over the earth and over man. It is important to note, even after sin, Yahweh did not reverse the roles of the genders. It is unfortunate that after Adam's mistake, Man have not, in their own life, correct the mistake/wrong that Adam made/committed; but rather' choose to remain in his self imposed weakness, by not using his God given wisdom and spirit of discernment: but chooses not to implement intestinal fortitude and God given wisdom in dealing with the woman.

All through biblical and world history woman was responsible for corrupting Strong, wise and Godly men, as a result Yahweh have only entrusted his work to but a few woman. In secular history, Yahweh have entrusted the more profound accomplishments, inventions, mathematics, scientific and other theories, revelation etc. to MAN.

Everything that is secret to Yahweh such as the family, the Marriage, and children seems to be corrupted by the woman. Every day men are persuaded and choose to; eat from the hands of the woman the forbidden fruit; all in an effort to please the woman. Man violate Yahweh laws at the prompting of the woman and in doing so he simply and smilingly hands over his peace of mind, his right and his manhood to the woman; giving her control over his life, his home, his children and his marriage; hence the problems that exist within the family, marriage and with our children today.

It was never Yahweh’s intention for the woman to have dominion but the man and because of this, Yahweh did not prepare the woman for that role but he prepared the man. She was not given the opportunity to be so nurtured and trained for such a huge undertaking; she was not afforded the privilege to developed the relationship with Yahweh that was needed; which would have equipped her to hold and properly manage such dominion: as is outlined in Genesis 2: 19-23. The man however, was afforded that sacred privilege.

Man have got to turn back to Yahweh, be faithful to Yahweh under all circumstances, keeping all of Yahweh's laws; forsaking all foolish counsel of any foolish woman and be willing to deny himself of the pleasures of this world just for a little season. It is only then that his family life on earth, his marriages and his children will be free from the corruption that now engulfs the world.

Christmas A Christian festival or Pagan

Christmas is a festival that is widely celebrated by Christendom; unfortunately, most Christians celebrates this festival out of ignorance. They are ignorant as to what they believe as Christians and what Christmas is all about. It is also a sorry state, when you hear ministers of the Gospel, in their effort to indulged in the things of the world; make comment such as Jesus is the reason for the season. This is so far from the truth. Let me take this time to inform you that Jesus Christ, the Son of Yahweh; has nothing to do with Christmas; his birth, life, death and resurrection has nothing in common with this widely celebrated festival of indulgence. As a matter of fact, the very origin of Christmas is an abomination of El Shaddai.

What is the origin of Christmas?

Before I answer this question, let me give you a little back ground information about country of Roam; the country from whence Christmas has its origin. Roam was a pagan nation and the ruler and citizen of roam, worshipped many false God; which included the elements, nature (trees) as well as the Heaven body (stars, moon, sun etc.); these along with the worship of other idol, Created an environment that give rise to many defile ceremonies and festivals. When Christianity reached the shores of Roam, the Christian religion grew in popularity among his Roman subjects.

What was unfortunate about this is, most of the Roman Christians refused to turn away from their defiled and evil practices. Instead of the Church taking a stand on the word of Yahweh holding fast to the word of God, they chose to marry paganism with Christianity. This union was a totally unholy and a spiritually unhealthy union: the Devil’s delight. For many century and up to today the lies of the Devil is not only being propagated by Roam; but most of Christendom is selling this the darkness magic of idolatry too many unsuspecting believer, which is still affecting millions of Christian.

Now let’s take some time to discuss the beginning and the origin of Christmas.

Pagan Roam had a festival, which was called Saturnalia, This festival was a tribute festival or a sacrificial carnival which was held in honor of the God of Saturn himself. It began on 17th of December and ran to the 25th day of the same month. This festival is believed to began in the year 217 BC. During this period citizen of Roam were exempted from all crimes committed; as part of the festival they indulged and participated in drunkenness, sexual misconducts, violent behavior etc.

Each Roman District was to appoint an innocent citizen and that citizen, were forced to indulged in drinking of alcohol and physical pleasure for one week, beginning on the 17th of December, then on the 25th December which was the last day of the festival; these so called enemies of Roam were all brutally murdered as a sacrifice. These acts brutality were done to destroy the forces of darkness.

The Greek writer Lucian in documenting an eyewitness account of the activities that occurred on this festival speak of drunk revelers dancing through the street naked as the sing songs, many people were raped (I would imagine men and women) in public as they indulged in many sexual acts that would have otherwise been unlawful.

In the 4th Century the church leaders in their effort to convert the masses of Pagan Roam to Christianity told the pagan Romans who were entrenched in this practice (Saturnalia) they will be able to continue to participate in Saturnalia as Christian. Here we have a situation where Believers in Jesus Christ whose core believed were in Yahweh and his government and in Jesus Christ’s sacrifice for their sin were given the right away to participate in the violation of the Law of Yahweh; the principles for which Jesus died and in the process violate their own dignity and decency as well as that of their fellow citizen. It is important for us to conclude that no man on earth neither an angel in heaven can give another permission to break Yahweh’s laws.

The American Experience:

The puritans of Massachusetts were the only people of the new world to take any meaningful action against Christmas. When the citizen of Massachusetts discovered the origin of Christmas, it became illegal for any citizen of Massachusetts to celebrate Christmas. The anti-Christmas law was enacted in 1659 was the legal instrument that make it unlawful for Christian to celebrate Christmas in that part of the country and it remained illegal for citizens to do so until 1681 when the law was repealed. For twenty two years the citizen of Massachusetts took a stand against Christmas because of it’s pagan back ground and the other pagan practices that is still associated with it.

The Roman’s Church Effort to Sanitized Saturnalia:

Later in an effort to reform the reluctant pagan and to persuade them from participating in Saturnalia; the leaders of the Roman Church (which was the world’s super power of that era), without biblical proof or other documented facts declared that the 25th December the Birthday of Jesus Christ, with the hope observers of Saturnalia would have chosen their love, respect and obedience to Yahweh and Yahweh’s son Jesus Christ thus causing a curbed in their appetite for the taste of the sinful practice of Saturnalia; but it did not.

Apart from perpetrating a verbal fraud; lying about the birth of Christ, the Leaders in the Roman Church tried many things to change the hearts of its congregants from the pagan practice of Saturnalia without success. It was a long and rough road from Saturnalia to what is celebrated today as Christmas.

In 1466 Roman Catholic Church revisited the most deprived customs of Saturnalia; as a substitute for the acts of indecencies to others and self the Jews became victims of this festival. The Pope Paul 11 Forced Jews to raced naked through the streets but not before they were forced to eat and drink to a point of discomfort; this made their naked run not only difficult but comical. This was done to and for the entertainment of Roman citizens who laugh at the nude discomfort of the Jews while mockingly taunted and threw objects at them. Later in the 18-19 Centuries the Jewish leader became the laughing stock of this festival. The Rabbis were forced to ware clownish outfit and while walking through the town citizen would laugh at and mockingly pelt objects at them.

In 1836 The Jewish community wrote a letter of protest to Pope Gregory the 16th asking him to stop the abuse of the Jews which was common around the season of Saturnalia.

The Christmas tree:

It was believed by the Greco-Roman that the Gods themselves transformed into tree and the first human was descended from a tree. It was also widely believed that the tree was magical, it roots extended into the underworld and thus the tree has access to the predominant place of the God’s of the ancestral spirit. They also believed that the branches which reach up to the heaven accessed another realm of great mystery, the predominant place of the goddesses. Birds were believed to be messengers from the gods and the fact that they nested and rear their young in tree were another sign of the holiness of the tree. The trunk of the tree was considered a bridge between the underworld where the predominant spirit of the ancestors dwell and the heaven where the Goddesses dwell.

The worship of trees had an integral part in pagan Roam’s customs, at times the trees that were to be worship were cut and took into their homes, where they were paint and beautifully decorated. This practice was also married into Christianity and was merged as a part of the Christmas tradition and is still practiced today around Saturnalia or Christmas time.

Gift Giving:

In pre-Christian Roam, the emperor of Roam compelled the most despised of the Roman citizens to bring offering and gift around the Saturnalia time. this was later adopted along with the custom of the yearly practice of the cult who followed Bishop Nickolas give gift to children on the 6th December to commemorate the death of Bishop Nicholas’ who was later granted sainthood by the Roman catholic Church.

The conclusion:

Can you in all honesty after knowing the history of Christmas find pleasure in celebrating such defile and wicked festival? Not if you are a believer in Yahweh and a follower of Jesus Christ. Given to the Roman Catholic Church, for the correct price, they can lend acceptance and sanctity to the atrocities of African slavery and Hitler’s holocaust.

Any minister of the Gospel, who tries to encourage the celebration of Christmas by infuse Christ in to dirty pagan celebration: Christmas and in the process cause the followers of the living God to indulges such celebration is no better than the Roman Catholic pries who sells indulgences such as forgiveness etc. or Jeroboam the King of Israel who lead Israel down the slippery path of idolatry for his own personal gratification and gain. As a result of Jeroboam’s selfish action, Israel became a ruin and its people were taken into captivity became slaves to the heathen nations suffering the curse of Jehovah as was outlined in Duet. 28: 16 onward; a curse which Israel endured for many centuries.

Eustace the Black Aristocrat

Arnhim Eustace is simply a man of class. He has never written an autobiography so very little is known Arnhim Eustace

about his formative years. Arnhim grew up in Kingstown, Edinboro to be exact. His mother was a teacher and his father was a businessman. Like Gonsalves, Eustace had a good education, having been trained as an economist. He spent most of his working life at the Caribbean Development where he retired as the third highest ranking member of staff.

Eustace does have an aristocratic bearing and he may be described as a proud black man. For all of his adult life he has been associated with decency. Eustace is not known for tempestuous outbursts; he is not known for the use of profanity; neither has he been tarnished with misconduct towards the opposite sex. Indeed Mr Eustace has been invariably described as “straight as a pin”. And, he has aptly earned the sobriquet “Mr Clean”.

As a national figure, Eustace has the tendency to restrict his public statements to critiquing government policies and to advancing the proposals of his party. One cannot recall hearing him ranting and raving in personal attacks and insults to anyone. Eustace is the consummate professional and the epitome of civility in public affairs. So much so, his critics often describe him as “soft”. However, Eustace’s general approach is but a reflection of his aristocratic bearing. He is a man of superior manners, impeccable speech, and exemplary conduct. Mr Eustace his a man of class!

A Staticical Review of This Blog and Some Victories

It is interesting that as of May,2010; BlogSpot the host of this blog and thousand of others, place an activity monitoring mechanism on its blogs. this give blog administrators the ability to monitor the external activities of the blog. I am shock at the amount of activities this blog had from the month of May to this current date (November 21, 2010). What is interesting about this is the titles that received the attention and the international location from which this blog was being viewed.

It is amazing that 52 percent of this blog’s readership is from the United States of America, 10.5 percent are from Russia while 10.4 percent of the readership is from the United Kingdom; Bermuda account for 6.9 percent of the readership.

It is fascinating how this blog have take on a geographic swing, over the pass year. It is not that Bermudian are not reading the blog; however, I have a suspicion that the swing of interest and the fact that Crushing fools is attracting an overwhelming U.S.A readership could be as a result of tourist researching Bermuda in order to make up their minds as to whether or not they should visit the island. I cannot account for the overwhelming Russian visits to this site which can also be as a result of potential tourist researching Bermuda.

My above conclusion came after I reviewed the statistics, as it relates to the articles that got the most overall views between the periods. Of the four most popular posting, the number one article that was read is: “My short presentation before the M.T.A board of directors of the State of NY” which saw 37.5% of those who visited the blog, it is very interesting to note that this article was written two months ago, yet it was the most read article; the second most read article was Ralph Gonsalves V/S Lady Justice this could be as a result of the heighten election activities that is going on in St. Vincent and the Grenadines at this point and time; and may be responsible for the 20.7 percent of the readers, who took interest to this article. The article “Barack Obama the Fulfillment of Dr. Martin Luther King’s Dream” was third place, the content and the caption of the posting will surely arrest the attention of my USA visitors to this blog. And then the article that will really capture the attention of tourist planning a trip to Bermuda was 4th place: “Bermuda the Wild Wild West.”

It is interesting to note that between 8:00 am on the 20th November 2010 and 8:00 am on the 21st November, 2010; 42 percent of the visitors read the article Ralph Gonsalves V/s Lady Justice, yet no one from St. Vincent and the Grenadines viewed this article yesterday.

The current activity on this blog is very surprising. What is even more surprising but understandable was the geographic turn this blog took. It is very comforting to know that this blog is still as popular today as it was when I wrote the first article calling for the people of Bermuda to take their country back from the criminal elements that was taking over their land. As a result of this blog I have suffered much hardship, which even saw me walking away from a profession I loved, enjoyed and was excellent at. I was followed day and night by the Bermudian authorities, my home was outfitted with listening devises, my cell and home phone was tapped, my mail were intercepted and scrutinized; my packages were intercepted and opened (passport was removed from a FedEx package by the Bermuda Police) I have had threats to my life and a Jamacian hit man, who resided in St. Lucia that goes by the name of Andrew Kirkpatrick Mitchell was sent to kill me like a common dog.

Although the Bermudian authorities made it look like my prosecution came as a result of my blog, it was really motivated by Prime Minister Ralph Gonsalves who was accused of raping a female police officer and sexually assaulting a Vincentian/Canadian lawyer; as a result of my actions, of writing in the News paper of St. Vincent and the Grenadines and my many regular radio presentations on the Radio Station in St. Vincent and the Grenadines.

I know this was the reason for my prosecution because I recorded the Bermuda Commissioner of Police issuing threats to me; telling me, if I do not desist from writing articles to the St. Vincent and the Grenadines News paper and making presentation of the radio station of the said country.

When I consider all things, I am happy that my writings, although they leave much to be desired is still interesting enough to have a following. To all who have been following this blog from its beginning, I say thank you. To all those who have by one way or the other brought to my attention events that I have wrote on thank you also. I must also thank those who took the timeout to post their comments; even those who post messages of hate, insults and degrading comments that was designed to hurt and offend me I also thank you for reading this blog and for taking the time for posting your comment, even though your comments were not published. It is one thing to disagree with my opinion; however, to be downright nasty is another thing. Thanks and I love you all.

What is culture? Culture is the way of life of a people and it includes all of the habits, rituals, celebration, and rights. It also includes the food they eat, the clothes they wear, the method and means of preparing such and their reason for doing what they do; in other words culture include the entire way of life of the people. An understanding of ones culture and the culture of another aids to make us cultured, which is: it shapes our attitudes, behaviors and beliefs; it also affords us characteristic that positively aids and impacts our social and general conduct. So in my effort to contribute to and transform my friend in Bermuda into even more cultured citizens I will take the time to share with you exhibits as is displayed at the Brooklyn Museum. I hope you will share in my experience and quest to be even more cultured.

Ex-Permier Dr. Ewart Browne JP, MP

Dr. Eward Browne’s action, of voluntarily stepping down as leader of the P.L.P, the political party he led for the pass four years and simultaneously from the office of the Premier of Bermuda; left him standing like a dignified giant. Dr. E Brown have proven that he is not like most small island politician, such as Ralph Gonsalves of St. Vincent and the Grenadines, Hugo Chaves of Venezuela, Erick Geary of Grenada, Fidel Castro of Cuba etc. all of whom became too easily addicted to power, who are willing do or who would have done anything, to hold onto political leadership of their countries; even at the destruction of their party, the country and at great lost of life to their constituent.

Many people saw Dr. Browne’s bid, for the leadership of the Peoples Labor Party, as a hostile take over; a sign of his lack of loyalty, to the man whose leadership he was subjected to, while he was the Premier: Mr. Alex Scott JP. MP. However; Dr. Brown’s actions was just a demonstration of democracy in action. He exercised his constitution and organizational right to seek the position of leadership of his party which in turn elevated him to the chief political office of his country: the Premier of Bermuda.

I got to know the caring gentleman that is Premier Alex Scott and his wonderful wife from performing police security detail at the then Premier’s home. Premier Scot and Mrs. Scott, would leave the comfort of their house and venture outside to find out how I was doing and if there were anything they could do to relief my minor discomfort.

I must also confess I found Premier Scott's politics to be gentle, understanding and involved the races. On the other hand I saw Dr. Ewart Brown’s approach to management and leadership as confrontational and aggressive. I must in all honesty say; although Dr. Ewart Browne style was completely different from that of Mr. Scott’s and at times he made many people angry; he did not make any major breach that could have upsetting the volatile race problem that exists in Bermuda, although he came very close.

When Ewart Browne, for whatever reason; choose to relinquish the post of Premier at the appointed time, not choosing to hold on to political/parliamentary power at all cost, he earn my respect and I am sure the respect of the thousand of Bermudian who though he was power hungry and developed a dislike for him, after he (Dr. Brown) exercising his right to pursue the highest political officer in Bermuda, at the lawfully appointed time and via the delegates of the party he was affiliated to.

Dale Butler JP, MP

Dale Butler: Mr. Dale Butler is a very honest and dignified man and it seems like Mr. Butler’s honesty was infused into the speech he presented to the delegates and it was his honesty that was responsible for ensuring his overwhelming defeat by the favorite Paula Cox. I have met and spoken to Mr. Butler on a few occasion; however, my understanding of Dale was developed through his honest, powerful and change inspiring writing. From his writing I can say that Mr. Butler has a genuine love and appreciation for his country and its people. Mr. Butler's action shows, his love goes beyond playing politics in order to ascend the high and coveted political office of Premier. I believe that Dale Butler will never violate his conscience and hamper his ability of affecting real and positive change in the lives the people he serves and the system that governs his country.

So when Mr. Butler make his presentation before the delegates, who held in their hands, the power to make or deny Dale the post of leader of the P.L.P and Primer of Bermuda; he refused to cater to the delegates prejudicial and stereotypical mentality; but rather, he choose to be true to his conscience in attempting to teach the old boys and girls new tricks by giving an all inclusive speech. In other words Dale Butler latterly ruined all chances of obtaining the leadership of the P.L.P and the Premiership of Bermuda. If my estimation of Mr. Butler is correct, as always, he was looking at the bigger picture; the picture as it can and should be: a colorless society where all Bermudian regardless of their political affiliation and the color of their skin are given the opportunity to work for the betterment of Bermuda.

Primer of Bermuda & Minister of Finance: Paula Cox JP. MP.

The New Premier of Bermuda: Madam Paula Cox, whom I refer to as the reluctant and loyal leader. I so refer to her for the simple reason: for many years key members of the P.L.P have thrown their support behind Paula Cox in a bit to make her leader of the P.L.P and in turn Primer; however, they were unable to convinced her to betray her leader even in time when he was very unpopular.

Paula Cox had been a very efficient minister of finance, a good constituency representative, a dignified parliamentarian, and a faithful follower. I have no doubt that she will be a very good Premier. My only hope is, the members of her party The P.L.P; those with and without portfolio will give to her the same level of support and loyalty she give to her former leader Dr. Ewart Brown.

The Bermuda Police Service Mould Condition Verified

In 2008, I brought to the public’s attention, the unhealthy conditions, of the facilities that are occupied by the Bermuda Police Service. I did so by writing and posting articles on the blog Crushing fools, writing letters to the then Caribbean News Net; as well as, in a document to the Governor Of Bermuda, which was also sent to The Premier of Bermuda: Dr. Ewart Brown, the minister of Public Safety; David Burch as well as members of the opposition U.B.P the document was titled “A standard For Change” ‘A four Years Internal investigation of the Bermuda Police Service. In the document I informed the above listed people and their offices of the unhealthy conditions that exist in those buildings among other things.

It was interesting to note that most people though I was only stirring up trouble, because of the difficulty I was experiencing with the management of the Bermuda Police Service. In my writings I spoke of the doctored report that was released by the Government of Bermuda and the Bermuda Police Service (BPS), which was design to hid the reality of the conditions as it exist in the buildings that houses the BPS and to keep us (enlisted and civilian workers) ignorant of the dangerous environment the Bermuda Government invited us to work in. As in everything else, the truth of my words are once again being confirmed and is now being validated by professionals in the field.

It is reported that a Supreme Court order, which was issued by the Supreme Court of Bermuda, gave the authority to Michael Pugliese and Dr. Jack Thrusher mould experts the permission ran test on the Hamilton and the Somerset Police Station. After the testing was completed, the test revealed such a high concentration of mould that those who were invested with the responsibility of conducting the test, refused to reenter the buildings without protective mask and later stated "The condition of Hamilton Police Station is such that the officers who work in the station should be wearing protective breathing masks in order to protect themselves from the air contamination resulting from the microbial growth in the building. The building should be torn down, it is not habitable."

What were unfortunate, is many healthy men and women had become ill and die as a result of the unhealthy condition that existed in the premises that housed the Bermuda Police Service, conditions that was known to the Government of Bermuda and the leadership of the Bermuda Police Service? Yet they knowingly, hid evidence and enticed loyal men and women to work in an environment that was/is killing them.

The action of these people constitutes a crime of omission: here we have a situation where responsible citizens were playing God. They placing healthy men and women with families, in unnecessary danger; they did so by putting them in a situation where they fell pray to a hazardous work environment. The Government of Bermuda and the Bermuda Police Service did this with the knowledge that the chances of there employees of becoming ill and even dying was a high one. This boils down to many categories of crimes, which includes causing the contraction of an infectious diseases, murder, manslaughter etc.

The questions that are dominant on my mind are: will anyone be brought to Justice for the illnesses and death that was caused by such negligence? Will the D.P.P see it fit to commission an independent investigation and bring criminal charges against anyone who knowingly endangered the life of hundreds of men, woman and civilian who have became ill and die as a results of the informed decisions of key members in the Bermuda Police Service and the Government of Bermuda?

Justice must be done, but then again poetic justice is always being served and it is being served up in Bermuda in a big way and it is being served up every day. What do you expect of the youngsters, how can you condemn the criminal behavior of Bermuda youths, when the adults who are invested with the responsibility and the authority to ensure the protection of citizen and visitors alike are also committing many criminal acts and are not being held accountable for such actions?

Example is still the greatest teacher and our life is still the best examples that we can give to out children. Have the leaders (political, religious, community etc.) in Bermuda been providing the best examples for the countries youths? Is it conscionable for those leaders in Bermuda to expect the youths to act different from way they are acting and behaving today?

Integration A New Segration

The systems that made slavery, apartheid and any other form of racial segregation legal, were not only wicked but was a slap in the face of the Creator God, who made all man equal. Such legal government systems, should have never existed, however; such existed and exist as a result of man’s inability too fully appreciate, understand and accept the beauty that is found in differences. Such inability has the capacity to manufacture fear and fear if it is not dealt with appropriately; can be easily transformed into hate. We must always remember, where there is hate, there are extreme and ugly behaviors. So it will be correct to conclude; such behaviors and system were/are born out of fear that eventually, evolves into hateful actions and behaviors.

Western integration was born out of the idealistic intention, which had as its primary goal: the unification of the races. I must conclude, the approach that was used to accomplish this critical social change; although it was absolutely necessary, it was the wrong approach. I was necessary in that the members of the white or the Caucasian community was not willing to let lose on the lifestyle, they have grown accustom to and enjoy; a life style that had at its roots the exploitation of blacks; as well as, the rooted belief that members of the black race were less than human and it was within their rights to treat their property like property. Legislative integration was the wrong approach for true integration must and can only come about, through mutual respect and appreciation for and among those that are divided; qualities that were none existent between the races, at the time legislative integration took effect.

Most members within the white community saw the new system of integration, as taking away their God given rights to hate and practice hate; one that forced them to interact and play with those they had nothing in common with. On the other hand; the black population who existed under a system that encouraged segregation in its varying forms, saw integration as a welcome opportunity to get involved and participate in activities they were denied of: because of the color of their skin.

As a result of legislative integration, there arose some new situations, which saw some members of the white community resisting such changes at all cost. They were willing to sacrifice even their civility; they broke the law, trampled on societal norms and violated all semblance of ethic to resist such changes. The level of hate was so high that white sympathizers, were treated with the same level of contempt as their black counterpart. This leads me to ask a very important question, which is: did such ideology and practice evolved from a misunderstanding of differences and a lack of an appreciation for the same or was it a case of people’s desire to be evil and practice the same?

Members of the black community longed for the opportunity, to embrace the freedom they were unjustly denied of, for so long; a freedom they only dreamed of but now, a freedom they hoped to embrace and experience. Unfortunately, the black community were to experienced a rude awaken, from their dreams of freedom. This occurred when their dreams collided with a very harsh reality of the day. For although the laws were enacted; they were not enforceable. There were two main reasons that made these laws UN-enforceable and they were:

1. The dominant white decision makers that govern the community were not ready to surrender the privileges and the life style that they enjoy as a result of these system.

2. The section of the community, endowed with the authority to enforce the law, also benefited from this system. They were not willing to acknowledge and sought justice on behalf of someone who, in their opinion, was less than human and inferior (blacks people) against those who were considered their own: members of the white community and the presumably superior race.

This belief had a tremendous impact on the new system and was responsible for changing the landscape and social dynamics of the western hemisphere. It fueled an underlying anger and hatred on both side of the fence that sought only forced the people into a new dimension of segregation.

When one considered that western segregation saw the black community being denied of their basic human rights and privileges; it appeared that the members of the black community had nothing to lose and every thing to gain; such was a threat to the acceptable way of life of the white community.

Later, when perception had changed, consciences were troubled and the laws became enforceable; the community saw another side to and of segregation which still exist. This resulted in the withdrawal of members of the white community from the community wherein they lived. The greater part of the white populations refused to interact or associate with the blacks for business, religion, social activities etc. they participated only in activities that were absolutely necessary.

The self imposed recursion of members of the white community, provided more opportunity for the members of the black community, which was seen as part of the perks that came along with their newly acquired rights. With the newly acquired rights came a bold and intrusive attitude which under the circumstances was not justifiable but very much understandable. This was so when one considered the degree of brutality some whites were willing to inflict on blacks in order to deny them of their God given and their legal rights.

Integration was intended to be a positive tool, that was meant to enhance the life of the people in the black and the white community; however, it was totally misunderstood and misapplied by the people it was meant to help. As a result; a system which was meant for the good of both, the black and the white community, backfired and instead of becoming a blessing, it became a curse. A curse which continue to affect the said communities even up to today.

Integration was meant to provide the Caucasian community with an appreciation of blacks, their talent, and skills; they were to inaugurate the strengths of the races to create a better community for all.

It was meant to give member of the black community, the opportunity to exist in the community on equal footing, with that of their white counterpart. Unfortunately the two supreme objectives were lost in the hate that existed previous to integration and that which developed after legislative integration came into effect.

Some ways Legislative integration negatively affected the black community

• It seems as if a large cross section of the black community have been told NO! You can’t! You are not good enough; so many times and for so long, that they actually believed, they were not good enough and this was reflected in their negative attitude towards anything that was black owned, made and inspired; in relation to that which were white.

• Another aspect that deeply affected the black community; was the No factor. Some members of the black community have been told NO so many times, for so long and for no justified reason that when they were giving the legal opportunity to participate in the community affairs, they were willing to defy the authority of the white population and claim their now legal right to participate in that which was forbidden as a result of racial prejudice.

As a result of the lack of white support, the negative psychological reinforcement among blacks towards that which was owned and produced by members of the black community; the defiant attitude among some within the black community that spurred on their zealousness, to ensure they were not denied of the opportunity, to participate in their newly found rights had serious negative impact to black enterprise. The combination of attitudes saw black art, black talent, black invention etc. suffered tremendously.

Here a situation was created where the white community refused to acknowledge and or support anything that was made, organized, operated or created by members of the black community; while On the other hand, a large cross section of the black community had been so cultured and conditioned to believe that nothing black was good; in other words nothing that was made, created, organize, operated etc. by members of the black community was good and the things of the white community was better than anything the blacks made. While another section within the black community patronized the white businesses etc. just to defy the white racist owner and to practice their new found liberty. You can see the negative impact these three situation had on businesses, inventions etc. that were made and operated by and within the black community.

This inferiority mental complex within the black community and the willingness of the defiant black to challenge the white racist community in order to practice their liberty, led to the failure of many black enterprises. The failure of the black businesses etc. which resulted from a lack of support from the black community only sought to transform the community into what it is today: a race of consumers. Even today, unfortunately; we can tell from the common practice, of the overwhelming majority of people of and from the black community; that the belief that nothing that was created by members from and within the black community is good; is still prominent.

In short while the black enterprises went out of business, the white establishment, leagues, invention, creativity, schools, organization etc. flourished and as a result, the black intellectual and talent flocked to the doors of the white form and run organization to lend them their expertise, skill and talents aa well as their consumer support.

A good and amplified example of this was the United States of America as well as Bermuda. In the USA we saw black entrepreneurs started black base ball, basket ball; foot ball league, theaters etc. to facilitate the Negro players and talents, who as a results of the color of their skin; were denied the opportunity to compete and participate in the white ran and owned leagues. It is strange that the Negro leagues had better players, coaches and teams than that of the white leagues thus the competitiveness was also greater than that of the white leagues. Yet it was the sole ambition of the black superior player to make it in what was the inferior leagues to compete against inferior players. In Bermuda it was the businesses. We have seen many black business suffered for basically the same reason while the white businesses experienced prosperous existence for centuries.

in the U S A, the sports and art situation was a unique one, in this case it was not about a desier to be apart of something that was better but the black players and artist were longing for the acceptance and recognition of the whites segregationist and they did all in their power to be accepted. Today we called those people heroes, champion of the civil rights movement, men and women who tore down barriers and open doors for blacks. However in my opinion I see this as an institutionalized and accredited failure.

Such should have been the opposite; in that, the white inferior players, singers, actors, dancers etc. should have been upping their game in order to participate and gain acceptance in the black leagues and to preformed on black stages. These socall heros were instramental in ensuring that members of the black community continue to be seen as inferior and they did so at tremendous damage to their pride, self-esteem and black dignity.

It was only when the white leagues and teams saw the economic benefits of inaugurating blacks supertalents into their leagues etc. that such happened at tremendous negative impack upon the black leagues. This resulted in the black establishments being forced to go out of business for lack of talent and by extension lack of gate return.

In the area of invention the transitional segregated system created many challenges for black inventors to patent inventions, as a results many black inventors lost their invention to the wealthy business men and women of the day who became wealthy by patenting and initiating mass production of the invention they had not participated in the creation of, while the inventors lived and die in poverty.

Legislative integration failed to benefit the community, for it only sought to change the dynamics of segregation and facilitated the evolution of a more complex, discreet, not easily identified form of segregation. A needed system that was not properly managed by the community; in the processed and in more ways than one the system failed to benefit those whom it intended to help in the manner it was intended. However it only sought to drive a transparent wedge between the races that continue to keep the races apart.

The Plots of the Devil -Aagainst the Protection of Jehovah

It is no secret that ever since I was a little boy I had an opinion and because I was born into a family with an open mind, I was encouraged to express my opinion freely, openly and without fear. I can remember as a youth, I would call into the popular interactive radio program: "The Search Light," which was aired on the state own radio station: 705 Radio. On that program I will share my opinion about issues that affects the Community in which I lived. I would address topics that were political, moral, social and economical in nature. I can also remember when I was 15 years old, I submitting and had my first letter published in the Vincentian News Paper: the oldest news publication in St. Vincent and the Grenadines; this marked, the beginning of my public writing.

I then joined the Royal St. Vincent and the Grenadines Police Force in 1994. Before my emergence into the Police Force, I have already been impacting lives in so many people in so many ways on the land of my birth. I have been a gospel artist with reoccurring performance in the Island biggest Gospel shown: Gospel spectacular which was hosted by Emerald Gospel group, which had the Victoria Park as its venue, Gospel explosion which was hosted by the Unity Gospel Group, which also had the Victoria Park as its venue. Both shows had thousand of patron from within the region as well as a wide range of internationally renowned guess artist. I also participated in the annual shows that were hosted by the other groups on the island.

I also organized and ran a Christmas Lunch program for the Homeless, Which saw my friends which included, Yvonne and Gideon Soleyn, Rosemary and Leroy Richardson, Glenroy Providence, Jerry Cuffy among others participating in this venture. Each year I will invest in providing meals for the homeless and with the help with my friends who are named above this was a success each time I did it. Every Christmas morning I will walk the entire length of Kingstown in an effort to seek out and informed the homeless of a free Christmas meal that would be provided at Bentic Square in Kingstown and they will show up and be treated with the courtecy and dignity they deserved to be treated with.

I can remember many people wanted to join into this endeavor, however; I try to encourage them to start their own program for it was needed. The last year I conducted this program, Peter Prescott along with the other regulars join me in the preparation and distribution of the meals.

I was never one whose actions were governed by money or personal benefits but I was always touched and I was always concerned about those who are less fortunate than I am. I have very little tolerance for those who abuse their authority, position, social status and finances to exploit the underprivileged or those who they are more fortunate than.

I know that I have rightfully offended many people with my objective writings, my vocal expressions as well as my actions. I also know that I am a target of revenge for many people whom I have so offend, especially some insecure members of the Bermuda Police Service (fortunately most of them were asked to retire), some with in the Royal St. Vincent Police Force, The Prime Minister of St. Vincent and the Grenadines: Ralph Gonsalves and some of his cronies.

The unfortunate thing is; some of these people think it is with in their best interest, to ensure I fail at what ever I do and they go out of their way to try to sabotage anything they find out I am doing. I have seen the evil of their hands at work, and I have seen and heard when their quality control officers come around to see how their demon inspired plans had affected me.

They have sent their demons possessed associates to try and entice me to get involved in some foolproof investment and get rich quick deals, hoping I will lose my investments, they have sent anonymous bad reports about me to employers (some of which were fake employees I set up for the purpose) and they hoped that such will remain secret. I wish them all of the best in their endeavors.

I will remind those who have set themselves up as my adversaries that, I am serving and relying on a the Creator God, Jehovah, Yahweh, The Host High God who will opens door for me that no man can shut and If I am running a little late he will keep it open until I get there. This same God closes door that no one can open. There is not a Lillie that falls to the ground without his prior knowledge or approval. The winds that blow on the water does so only at his will; even though he commands the wind blow upon the water, the water dear not make a ripple unless he commands it so to do.

This is the God who holds my success in his hands; this is the God you are fighting against, yes HE is the same God that have been fighting my bottles and who continue to fight with and for me. It is totally impossible for me to lose, my success is assured, my happiness is already handed to me and there is nothing that no one can do to change this fact.

Have you ever wondered why your extensive foolproof plots and plans always seems to fall by the wayside, even when my life was in danger and with no help from me? Have you every wondered why your soldiers offten return to you with a reposr of mission unaccomplished? Have you ever wondered why even when I should be under tremendous pressure I am happy and going about as a free spirit? It is because my success is already a rap and there is nothing you can do to change that fact.

It make no sense sneaking around, for if you call me and asked me, I will tell you what I am doing and what the Lord has planned for me. I am not hiding from man nor demon that which the lord has already provided for me; the reason for my boldness is simple; who Yahweh blesses no man of demon can ever curse.

Only if you can see the confident smile of victory that is plastered upon my face as I write this article. So until your next plot against me fails; I will say to you, fight on my haters, may my God have sympathy upon you all.

My Short Presentation Before the MTA Board Of Director Of New York State

On the evening of Tuesday 21th September 2010, at 6:30 PM, I attended a town Hall Meeting that was held at the Brooklyn Museum. This meeting was organized by the Metropolitan Transportation Authority (MTA) in accordance with the law of the state of New York and was held before the board of directors and other decision making persons that are responsible for the general management of this vital institution. Such meetings are a lawful requirement of the MTA before they can make or take any major decisions or actions that can affect the public. As a member of the commuting public who rely on the MTA to get to and from my destination throughout New York City, I felt it necessary to attend this Town Hall meeting to offer my opinion on the matter.

There were over a hundred people who made presentation at this Town Hall meeting and I was fortunate to be among the conscious public transportation commuter who saw it necessary to ensure that my voices was heard.

Each person was given the duration of three minutes to make the presentation, below is the short three minutes impromptu presentation I made.

Good evening ladies and gentle men, I hope that you are able to understand my rich West Indian accent. It is no secret that the MTA provides a very vital service to the commuting public. It is unfortunate that the MTA have dug itself into a deep financial ditch, it is also unfortunate that the MTA can only find two means of increase their cash flow which are:

1. They put thousands of low and middle income workers out of work, while the people who are making the significant wages that can impact the indebtedness of the MTA remain employed and without wage cut.

2. They increase fare.

These are not creative means of accomplishing the objective that the MTA now faces.

I have a few questions that I will like to ask.

1. After the last increase in fare, did the general ridership increase or decreased?

2. Did the increase in fare positively impacted the MTA profitability or did they experience a decrease in the general income of the MTA?

The MTA is a retailer and they retail the service of transportation like any retail enterprise the MTA need to increase the volume of sales, if they ought to be profitable. The MTA also need to find significant ways in which to reduce its operational cost.

The Challenge

Let me challenge you guys. When I look at the podium I see well intended dignify men and women. With that in mind let us speak about leaving a legacy. I know you all are capable men and women; you need to work to leave a legacy for your children and your grand children. Your children and grand children must be able to boast at school and with their peers that my father or mother, grand father or grand mother was responsible for turning around the MTA without breaking the backs of the poor people, I know you all are capable of coming up with creative means of accomplishing this, it is time to get your creative juices flowing and leave a positive legacy for your children and grand children thank you.

Carl Neblet, The BPS Commissioner of Police and A Case To Make Public; Private Medical Records.

Bermuda Police On Duty

It is my hope that Carl Neblet and his supporters, do not think that I am against or that I in any way dislike him (Carl). In order to set the record straight, I must declare that I think Carl Neblett is a very nice person. Unfortunately for him; his personality does not provide him with the nature that is needed to effectively confront the problems and issues of the Bermuda Police Association (B.P.A) in the manner they should be dealt with; a manner that will bring lasting solution to most of the issues the Association's members are faced with. As a result, the men and woman of the Association are misled and misrepresented. My opinion of Call as a person and Carl Neblett method of operating as head of the BPA are different and it in no way means that I will not be critical not of Carl Neblett the person but of the silly and avoidable graft and decision he continue to make.

Let us take a brief look at and in the process consider the latest saga that is currently being played out within the Bermuda Police Service, where the Commissioner of Police (C.O.P) have decided to take two police officer to civil court. This new court action that was brought by the commissioner of Police, is designed to force the said officers to reveal to him their medical records. This request was made to and was denied by the officers who are being taken to court after they have been on sick leave for more than two years now.

Although I think the steps Commissioner De Silva is currently taking are strange ones, I would believe that he is following legal counsel. The police act has within its pages, the means by which such issues of prolong illnesses can be resolve in a manner that can bring closure to such matters, without the bitterness than the current course of action may leave within the ranks. It is not my intent to delve into such issue in this article.

I am sure that COP and the attorney General are aware that certain information are deemed confidential and no court of law will order there release unless it is in the interest of public safety or other critical matters, No court of law is going to violate the community's rights and set new court president to satisfy an employees curiosity.

What caused my underwear to become tied up in knots, was the below extract from the Royal Gazette. In an interview with the Call Neblett the leader of the BPA the organization that is endowed with the legal responsibility to look out for the interest and protect the rights of the members Bermuda Police Service below the rank of inspector.

Asked about the latest court action, Acting Detective Sergeant Carl Neblett of the Police Association (BPA), which represents the interests of officers, said: "As far as the BPA is aware, this is a civil matter between the Commissioner of Police and the plaintiffs.

"The Bermuda Police Association is not involved in this upcoming case in any way. Two of the officers involved in this upcoming case have not notified or approached the BPA and we do not know who their respective lawyers are."

There are several disturbing factors in the short quote of Carl Neblett, that was recorded in the Royal Gazette article.Together let us take a look at this issue from the prospective of the officers involved, Neblett’s response and the actions of the BPA.

This is a civil matter between the Commissioner of Police and the plaintiffs. Firrst I will address the quote

1. It is unfortunate that the two police officers are called plaintiff by their most senior welfare representative. This is a clear sign that Call Neblett and the BPA have already distance themselves form those involved even though they so call plaintiffs are bring forced to surrender their rights. and even though the Association is fully unaware of the facts of the matter.

This matter is an internal matter
It is a work related issue where two of the BPA’s members are being attacked by one who is in authority and one who does not falls under the banner of the BPA.

By virtue of the foregoing characteristics the outlined dynamics makes this issue a BPA matter.

2. Mr. Neblett form your prospective as a constable, a member of the BPA and as a prominent Leader of the BPA, and from the BPA prospective; the parties involved in this matter are not plaintiffs: they are first your colleagues and second they are BPA members those whose interest you volunteer to look out for.

3. The BPA does not represent the interest of the officers. Well that one I know from experience, the BPA represents the interest of management because, it is easier for the Association to be on the side of management for many reasons that has nothing to do with "securing a promotion".

4. The BPA is not involved in the upcoming case in anyway. The fact that it is a civil proceeding does not automatically exempt the BPA from working on behalf of its member in a work related dispute with management. Carl at lease you know that the level and or functions of the proceeding do not take away the responsibility of the BPA to represent its members.

5. The officers involved have not approached or informed the Association of the matter that is brought against them. Give me a break Carl, this mentality is low; it matters not whether the persons involved brought the matter to your or the attention of BPA. A person who has any genuine concern for the people they represents often forget about personal pride and does what is right. That is what a true leader of such an organization will do. They will not wait on the victims, for an invitation to provide representation to a colleague in trouble but on finding out of the problems will ensure that they get to the bottom of the matter and offer any support they can; this is what true representation is all about.

Let me make it clear, the affair of the three police officer as it relates to the presentation of their medical records and the court proceeding that is brought against them are in deed the business of the BPA and they should be in the forefront with the members; unless for reasons not given the by the BPA have cause the Association to have make a conscious decision to disassociate themselves from the matter. The Bermuda Police Association must adopt the attitude that whenever information is brought to their attention by whatever means, they (the executive) must make an effort to contact the member who is experiencing such difficulties even if is to lend moral support.

Jackie Agustus an Other Victim of the Curse of the BPS

Once again the Bermuda Police Service (BPS) has suffered another lost; once again, another faithful servant of and to the Bermuda Police Service, has fallen victim to the curse that has been plaguing that institution for many decades now; a curse that has taken the life of hundreds of employees and ex-employees of the Bermuda Police Service. Jacqueline ‘Jackie’ Augustus: the Bermuda Police Service tailor/seamstress who was responsible for fitting and outfitting the members of the BPS in their uniform is now dead. She is the most recent person to be added to the list that make up the statistic, of people associated with the BPS and who fulfilled her assignment on the compound of the BPS, who was devastated by sudden, unexplained, critical illness and she subsequent scummed to her illness.

Like Sergeant of Police Gary Young and hundreds of others before him, Ms. Augustus was strong, capable and able person when she was diagnosed with cancer and within one month of her diagnosis she rapidly deteriorated and died. Jackie took her last breath on Sunday 22nd August 2010, and in the process, she found relief from her suffering.

To Jackie’s friends and family she was a helpful, caring, faithful, and a loving person who they could have relied upon in time of trouble and when they had other needs; however, to the cold Government of Bermuda and the frigid management of the Bermuda Police Service; Jackie was just another number on the pay role. Now she had graduated and will become just another number on the statistic sheet of BPS employee who contracted cancer, other terminal, or life-threatening disease, suffered and subsequently die.

Jacqueline ‘Jackie’ Augustus had a memorial service, her friends, family and employers had many good things to say about her; she was buried now we all are wait for the next victim (BPS employee or BPS Ex-employee) to fall pray to what ever environmental condition is causing the member of this institution to become critically ill and suddenly die.

Is the cause of the illnesses to hard to find/discover? Or is it a case of; I am in good health and my family are not affected so why should I care?

It is important that we remember, Andrew Thomas, Paul Marsden, Timothy Herbert, Gary Young, Jackie Augustus and the others who have meet their untimely death, did not have nothing to worry about, for they were all healthy; that is, until they became ill and were forced to stare death in the face.

I wrote to many institution (health and other institutions) in Bermuda; I did so, in an effort to rally support for my ex-colleagues; the members of Bermuda Police Service, in relation to the plight they are faced with. I received a response from the highest political authority on the island: the office of the Premier, who assured me they were looking into the issue as it related to the sudden, tragic illnesses and death of the men and women in the Bermuda Police Service.

There are two things we can all agree on, and they are:

Something is terrible wrong.
It is critical that it is look into immediately.

Carl Neblet; it is time you wake up from your conscious sleep, rally the members of the Bermuda Police Association; the organization that you have been leading (some say down the wrong path) for more than a decade now and make some serious demand upon the Government of Bermuda and the Bermuda Police Service. It is criminal to ask healthy people to work in an environment that is killing them. This cannot be allowed to continue for your inactivity is killing innocent men and woman. Carl you ought to be careful, for the life you are going to save, may very well be your own.

Ralph Gonsalves, Desmond Morgan and The National Commercial Bank SVG Ltd.

After listening to a presentation that was made by Ralph Gonsalves: the Prime Minister of St. Vincent and the Grenadines, on the Government information program: The Agency for Public Information (A.P.I); I was shocked at the debt to which the Prime Minister had sunk, in order to pull the wool over the public eyes. Prime Minister Gonsalves, took time and effort to justify the questionable business transaction of Desmond Morgan, the ex- Chairman of the National Commercial Bank of St. Vincent and the Grenadines; a transactions Morgan initiated with the said institution while he chaired the institution’s business.

Prime Minister Ralph Gonsalves' understanding of economic and his business sense leave much to be desired. After listening to his presentation I asked myself one question, which was and still is: what is the state of the economy in the land of my birth? This thought came to my mind after I remembered Ralph Gonsalves is the Minister of finance and his main responsibilities are to manage and grow the resources of the country.

Let me take this opportunity to lend a rational view to Prime Minister Gonsalves presentation.

In the opening of Ralph’s speech, he describes Desmond Morgan; the Husband of the attorney General (the Government legal counsel) as being honest in his dealing with the National Commercial Bank P.L.C. But did the action of Desmond Morgan and his business dealing with the N.C.B can be described as honest. I will take some time to address this matter also.

The point at issue in the Desmond Morgan’s saga, is not whether he had a legal business transaction with the National Commercial Bank, but whether he use his influence as Chairman of the N.C.B, his affiliation to the Unity Labor Party (U.L.P) and his friendship with Ralph Gonsalves to manipulated and or pressure the bank management and staff into giving him a loan to organize and run the failed Blue Skies Communication Company? Did Mr. Morgan also use his influence to neglect his responsibility to service the loan which is now over two million dollars with the interest? Another question which answers must be found for is; why didn’t the bank, follow bank policy and common practice, by liquidate the collateral interest of Desmond Morgan, which is alleged to have a value some of 4 million EC dollars? Collateral that Morgan put up to secure his loan.

If the bank had followed its policy, common, expected and good business practices in this case, they would have recover the money owing to them by Morgan and his company and in the process, avoid a lengthy and expensive court procedure to recover monies owing to the institution.

I was also shocked and very much ashamed when The Prime minister try to justify a scheme that was proposed to the N.C.B by Morgan. A scheme that requested the bank to allow him to invest its collateral interest to form a new company Omega limited. Morgan was to then deposit the shares certificate and the transfer of shares with the N.C.B and in the event Morgan continue with his pattern of continual neglect of his financial obligation to the National Commercial Bank, then the bank will automatically become the owner of the shares of a worthless company.

Here we have a situation, where Desmond Morgan, had a well though out plan to dump his worthless business upon the State owned bank and walk away with the invested value of the property he put up as security, to ensure he get the loan, safe and secure in his pocket; while he leave the share holders of the National Commercial Bank: the people of St. Vincent and the Grenadines, with the burden of bearing a debt, which a key member of the U.L.P: Desmond Morgan had accumulate and subsequently abandon.

To allow Desmond Morgan to reinvest the properties he put up to secure his loan is to take away the bank only real mean of recovering the monies Morgan owe to the National Commercial Bank thus making it almost impossible baring a court order, for the Bank to obtain its money.

Ralph must come to the understanding that financial institutions, such as the National Commercial Bank and institutions of its kind that follows good business practice; choose only to deals or trade with and in money; and the use of collateral are to aid the banks in recovering from, its delinquent borrowers, money owed to the institution. It also acts as a tool to motivate the borrower, thus ensuring they take their obligation to and with the bank seriously, which lead them to develop the type of responsibility that cause them to be consistent in servicing their loans.

Another point that I must bring to Ralph’s attention is: it is not the intent or objective of any such financial institution (banks) to acquire, and manage for a profit; any such unrelated retail, wholesale and or service oriented business. Therefore the N.C.B will not have any financial interest whatsoever, in acquiring any business that cannot be liquidated into that which the bank trades.

Now, one may asked; why Ralph Gonsalves would sacrifice coming on national television in a prearranged interview that were arranged by him and his advisor and was conducted and presented by the A.P.I be exposed to an international audience; which only portrays him to the entire world as a financial imbecile?

The Relationship that Exsists Between the Victims of Rape and their Predators

When a person is raped, they experience many psychological effects, this is as a result of the unwanted sexual imposition. Apart of the psychological effects that was discussed in the article titles the “The Psychological Effects of Rape" there are other effects that impacts the victim. Such effects lends to a very unhealthy unspoken relationship between the victim and the predator.

Over time, this relationship evolves into one of fear on behalf of the victim and subtle aggression on behalf of the predator. This is the type of relationship that develops between the victim who chooses to hide the shame they feel and in the process avoid the societal stigma that is associated with having such heinous defilement imposed upon them.

Most people, who have not been blighted and has suffered the unfortunate experience of being sexually victimized, may not be able to comprehend the chemistry that exists between these two individual (the victim and the rapist). However; because our understanding does not allow us the ability to comprehend this relationship as well as the psychological power the perpetrator has over his subject, in no way mean that such relationships does not exist. In some cases the victim and the aggressor are unaware of the development of a psychological pattern that impacts their behaviors and emotions especially when there is a confrontation of any type (a meeting of the eyes, an encounter on the streets at a function etc). This also includes the awkwardness that occurs when they are forced to interact.

It is important to note that any time a victim of rape or any form of sexual abuse; becomes so afraid of the stigma that is associated with rape and because of their fear’ they cause their predator to escape the long arms of the law and by extension the justice system; they not only deny the system to work on their behalf, they encourage the perpetrator to create new victims, put themselves at a grate long term disadvantage and they deprived themselves of the opportunity of living as normal a life they could ever hope to live under the circumstances.

The predator will become bolder in his demeanor while the victims wither away on the inside. The victims are then forced to spend awaken days planning to avoid a confrontation with their rapist and finding new creative way of ensuring that their secret is kept secure.

In most cases, victims of rape, who chose to remain silence about being raped are often raped again either by the same person or another rapist. You may not know that these sexual predators have developed the predator’s instinct and thus are capable of identifying and isolating easy victims knowing who it is safe to impose upon etc.

As time passes, the victim may even stand up, in the defense of their abuser. This may be done in the hopes that their victimization will not make public; they will deny the inhumane and hideous treatment their predator inflicted on them, and in some cases they will aggressively denounce any victim of their predator who found the strength and courage to stand up and take action against such an individual for sexual the crimes that was committed against them.

In the case of a young person, who were raped and sexually abuse especially if such was done over a prolong period of time; in such cases, as time elapses, the victim becomes more and more like a slave, and very often complying to the sexual pleasures of his/her victimizer who sways a manipulative, psychological control over them. In some cases this unhealthy and unlawful sexual imposition may have been the first and only sexual encounter the person may have ever known and as a result; this unhealthy and unlawful sexual relation becomes normal to the victim. The victim may become entrapped in vicious sexual practices and thus passing down the victim’s personality to their children; creating the environment for their children too become victims of such abuse and or rape.

I must mentioned here, that approximately seventy five percent of the person who were raped were born of/to and were socialized by a dominant parents who were themselves were silent victims (a person who were raped and kept their rape a secret).

It is a common fact that when silent victims of rape or sexual abused are involved or induced to participate in conversation that reflects or portrays their abuser negatively, the victim will often shy away from such conversation and avoid anyone that is critical of the person that has or is praying on them. This is so for fear that the aggressor may discover; the victim were disloyal, thus forcing him to reveal the embarrassing secret they both share; thus exposing the victim, to the shame they spend most of their time; trying to avoid.

The unfortunate things about the victims are: he or she always see his or her self as the victim and therefore fail to see the leverage they hold over the predator. In a community and civilization where, there are laws that are put in place to protect the victim; this give the victims of rape and other sexual crimes much power; unfortunately their fear whether real of perceived hampers them from understand the power they have. The victims of rape who were brave enough to come forward and ensure their predator were exposed and face the justice system actually took back their life and their independence form the predator. These people even without counseling will be/are awarded the opportunity to live as normal a life that is possible under the circumstances. it must be understood, there is no removing the scars of rape but the wounds that were created do not pain as much as they use to.

In order to avoid exposure, the victim try to please his/her sexual exploiter, he or she will try very hard not to anger their sexual predator, and in most case they feel safer when they are isolated. We have the unfortunate story of Jaycee Lee Dugard; who was abducted when she was 11 years old and remained the sexual prisoner of her abductor: Philip Craig Garrido and his wife Nancy, who kept that child hostage for eighteen years even causing her to bear him two children. In the mind of this child, this sexual encounter was the only sexual experience she had ever known and as it was done for an extended period of time, this sick exchange became normal to her.

Unfortunately; in this society that we all love so dearly, we have many victims of rape and sexual abuse who are so afraid of the stigma of rape; and in turn, they are afraid to do anything to upset their rapist or sexual abuser, they do not have an understanding of the power they possess, the power to confront their aggressor before the court of law and see them locked away for a long time and in the process break the victim’s cycle and avoid passing the victim mentality, personality and behavior unto their children.

If you are a victim of rape or sexual abuse, speak up and take back the power your predator had taken from you. Yes you I am speaking to you.

Mr. Hilton Davis: Thank You For Your Kindness

Dear Uncle Hilton,

How are you? It was indeed a wonderful pleasure getting to know you and mother Davis (Hilton's wife); I must say that you are a couple whom God have blessed with each other. I strongly believe that you can measure the quality of a person’s character by the nature of the sacrifice he or she is willing to make for another. Not when they are obligated so to do but when it is not their responsibility and such will not benefit them personally.

There are many people in Bermuda whom I respects highly, and I am making it clear and I am also making it known that I hold you and mother in very high esteem, you have taught me many of life’s valuable lessons through your kind and unselfish love, you have share your time your life and all that you have with me at a point in time when I needed it most, and that is something I can never forget or can ever repay.

I have no doubt That God have blessed me with tremendous strength and the courage to stand up for the things that I know is right regardless of the consequence. At times this can become a difficult cross to carry and it is in these time of difficulties that even the strongest man needs a place to get away to, a friend share his difficult times with, a person who, out of concern will listen and be there. Hilton that was what you were to me in my time of trial whilst I was in Bermuda.

When I looked back on it all, I can say without a doubt that my God is an awesome God. I know exactly why it all happened and with that I say “Thank you Jesus.” Let me assure you that you and your family are always in my prayer.

How is the Great John Thompson: AKA Ginger blue? Together you and Mr. Thompson make an awesome team, you tow understands what the word friendship, respect and honor means. Well being the good student that I am, I made my observing and I took note. God have been so good to me and he promised that he will never leave me nor forsake me and I am holding him to that, he cannot go back on his words.

I know to well when an individual appear to be in trouble no one wants to be associated with him or her, no one wants to be branded the trouble maker’s friend. Have you ever wondered, how it was that Jesus had only a handful of moaners when he was crucified; Yet so many people rejoicing over his demised.

Well what more can I say, but thanks once again for the Christian love, courage and friendship that I have recieved from you but most of all for allowing God to use you in such a way that I was encouraged daily and for being there for me when I needed you most.

Katrina Lanay "Trins" Flood: Please Rest in Peace and May your Children be Blessed

While perusing the Royal Gazette today, I came across a story that was captioned: Woman becomes Island seventh road death. It was saddening to learn that it was my dear friend Katrina Layna "Trins" Flood who met such a sad, sudden and tragic death. Unfortunately; she die on the 12th June, 2010, while recovering at the KEMH from injuries sustained from an accident she had seven days earlier.

I got to know Katrina Flood, who was only twenty eight years old when she die; through a police related incident. Although I knew Katrina was not driving the car that committed the traffic violation, for which she was ticketed; she choose to take the rap for her friend who was driving the said vehicle without a driver license. Unfortunately there was nothing we could have done to prove the contrary. But that is the type of person I have come to know Trins to be; one who will go the extra mile for her friends.

From my interaction with Katrina while dealing with the Traffic Violation, I dubbed her the respectful rebel. For although Katrina resisted out counsel and the ticket which was given to her, she did so with respect and with humor; it was because of this experience that I was forced to admire her and as a result; I quickly became friends with Katrina and her traffic violating complies.

Although Trins and I was not best buddy, we had a common bound and a mutual understanding; which was base on respect for each other. I have had many conversations with Katrina and at times she will seek me out, for my opinion on different matters. As my custom is, I will be frank and honest with her, not telling her what to do but guiding her into making the correct decisions. Like each of us, Katrina Flood was not perfect; she was a down to earth person, who was straightforward in expressing her thoughts and she was good by nature. She was very knowledgeable about the Bermuda under world and its activities.

Katrina’s childhood experience of losing a mother at a very tender age, which went untreated, left her traumatized. The psychological trauma that she had to bore, at times got the better of her and was responsible for her early rebellion. I can associate with Trins, for like her, I was the baby of the family and I also lost my mother at the tender age of seven years old, to death.

The last time I saw Katrina, who always find pleasure in heckling me about something or sharing a laugh with me was in August 2008, (Just before I left Bermuda). She was working at the Market Place Mini Mart in the City of Hamilton. By this time Katrina would have surpass her detractors prediction for the length of time she would have hold onto the job at Market Place, to the point where she was training new cashiers, and supervising the other girls on the cash line. This accomplishment made me proud of Trins and I did not hesitate to let her know how proud I was of her achievements. I will challenge her to continue to do what she was doing and encourage her to aspire to bigger things. I had no doubt as to Katrina's ability to achieve anything she wanted too, for she was intelligent and street wise.

Although my mother prepared me for her death the emotional trauma was tremendous. I do not know what preparation Katrina’s mother made to cushion her children from the psychological impact of her death but as I have experienced there is no preparation that can adequately prepare a child of tender age for the death of his or her mother.

Because of Katrina’s sudden and tragic death, I am forced to conclude that she may not have prepared her children for her death. The foregone conclusions give raise new concerns, about Katrina’s kids. Now I am very concerned about Katrina’s children, for it is very possible that they may not get the type of psychological care and love that is needed to help them to cushion the impact of losing a mother at such a young age. There are no substitute for a mother’s love, but continuous love, care, and positive vocal and touch re-enforcement can surely go a long way to help children in such situation that Katrina’s children are, to have a successful journey on the road of normalcy.

To the sisters of Katrina whom I know very well and the other members of the family please accept my deepest sympathy. I am requesting that you do what you can to let Katrina Lanay “Trin” Flood children be a living positive memory of who their mother was and what she was surely aspiring to becoming.

Musical Delight: The Best Classical Music Has To Offer

On Sunday 9th May 2010, I attended the last in the series of classical concerts that was hosted by the Brooklyn Public Library. These performances were held in the newly refurbished: Dr. Durick Auditorium, which is located in the lower level of the building that houses the Brooklyn Public library.

For quiet a while now, I have been thrilled by the best classically trained and renown classical artist on this side of the world. These are people who make their living by touring the world and filling halls with music lovers of all ages, social status and gender.

I have been knocked off of my seat, and drenched with and by some of the best rendition of the classic, I have ever heard and Sunday’s performances were no difference. We were treated to the skills of young yet seasoned artist on the piano.

Kristijan Civlijak

We were thrilled by such musical virtuosos like Yugoslavian: Kristijan Civlijak who received his first piano instruction at the age of six from her older sister and has been performing ever since. Kristijan is currently pursuing his doctorial studies.

Irina Nuzova
Irina Nuzova who have toured and preformed in Canada, Brazil, Italy, Russia and the United States have won many noted competitive awards for her keen piano skills. This Moscow born talent has proven that playing the piano is like riding a bike or easier; at lease, it is for her.

Dror Baitel

There was the display of talent by the Young Israeli Pianist: Dror Baitel; who produced an award winning performance after returning to the music scene having completing his obligation to his country by serving in the Israeli arm forces, as all patriotic Israeli are expected and are obligated to do.

Di Yi Tang

Mr. Di Yi Tang a native of Hong Kong, is a young pianist who is building a reputation in the USA, which he has already built in Asia and Europe. Tang has many years ahead of him and he is expected to grow into one of the world’s elite musician.

Sayaka Tanikawa

Sayaka Tanikawa whose competitive reputation has preceded her has twenty first price and top award in international piano competitive. Her focus and enthusiasm for her craft is evident and can be seen in her performance. This young oriental represents the future of musical excellence.

Etri Andjaparidze

Then like a gentle breeze Etri Andjaparidze swept onto the stage with a humble confidence that was unlike a person that possesses her musical mastery. It was the kind of quality that we have come to expected from a true master. This artistic legend clearly demonstrated that she was at variance with the piano; for she wanted more than the humble instrument was unwilling to give; however, she got just what she wanted from the instrument. Like the piano connoisseur that she is, she squeezed that instrument for all it could give and then more. At the end of the second number, she magically causes the audience to stand to their feet and in overwhelming appreciation applaud with vigor. Like me the other members of the audience wanted more but were to ashamed to put the consummate professional through that emotional affair she had with the instrument.

Creative Kidz Summer Camp: A Doreen James Production

She is considered to be an extremely talented woman as well as, a person who is overwhelmed with creativity. This summer, the summer of 2010, the children of Bermuda will be treated to the opportunity to participate in a summer program that has at its core values, wise choices, reuse and recycle.

The person, of whom I speak, is no other than, Mrs. Doreen James nee Williams: the proprietor of Alpha Funeral Home. Although all of Bermuda may not be aware of how talented Williams-James really is; it is no secret to the children, members and friends of the St. Georges Seventh Day Adventist Church that Doreen the mother of two possesses the drive, the skills and the creativity to teach and organize exciting children events. For each week Doreen is given the privilege of conducting program for the children that attend the St. Georges SDA Church.

Doreen; the reluctant perfectionist, goes beyond what is expected of her, to ensure that the children under her supervision are well taken care of, she often use props and creativity to ensure the desired lessons are learned and her production are always of a very high standard.

Doreen, who is believed to have the most hats in Bermuda, is also a very adventurous woman. Although she had the physical and facial qualities of a beauty queen; the mother in her and her adventurous side, have blessed her with the quality that can be considered: sophisticated simplicity, which can be appreciated by those she comes into contact with especially her children. For when this mother is out with her two children, she can be found fishing, climbing and doing all the things children love to do.

This Summer Mrs. James have decided to push her creativity a step further by present a summer program base on reuse and recycle; which is titled Creative Kidz Recycling Summer Camp. Doreen is of the opinion that we are destroying mother Earth with our bad habits. Habits which have seen more waste being generated per person than any time in history. Mr. Doreen James said, the unfortunate thing about this is, the garbage that is generated by us are not properly disposed of and very often becomes an unsightly mess that ends up in the sea, on our beaches and at the side of the road and in our places of recreation.

I know I cannot save the world but if I can teach just one child the effects and the consequence of such action and have that child understand the message enough, so that he or she can teach someone else what they have learn, then there is hope.`

The participants in the Creative Kids Summer Camp which should get on the way on Monday, June 7th 2010, will learn about reusing things that will otherwise be thrown into the garbage, how to make useful and needed items from such unwanted products, learn how our actions are destroying the earth and go on field trip and much, much more. This camp is expected to be lots of fun for the participants and the valuable lessons they are expected to learn will benefit Bermuda for decades to come.

Why Should Ralph Gonslaves Sacrifice Elected Ministers of the ULP for His Misdeeds?

I recently, learn that on May 10th, 2010 Ralph Gonsalves; the Prime Minister of St. Vincent and the Grenadines, while addressing a the lauders community, publicly declared that his Unity labor Party (ULP) will be presenting at lease ten new candidates in the next general election that is constitutionally schedule to be held in march 2011.

From my understanding of Ralph Gonsalves this is a dictator’s gimmick to trick the Vincentian community into voting for the failed ULP and thus giving them another term to continue their very ineffective and deficient programs, they call governance. This announcement is the basis of this article and which is responsible for motivating a series critical questions that Vincentian need to answer for themselves. I will therefore present these questions for the perusals of all.

St. Vincent is a democratic state and it is expected that all organization, within a democratic state, should operate base on the core values, principles and laws that over sees the general administration of the country. However; with this in mind, I am lead to ask what were the means the UPL used, to decide who will be deny the opportunity to render valuable service, in the capacity of an elected representative of the people. I have a sneaking suspicion; that the members of the ULP who were disqualified from seeking reelection to the seat they have so skillfully won, under the ULP banner; became so disqualified by the socialistic dictatorial personality of the almighty Ralph Gonsalves. There were no discussion on that issue; I am sure Ralph decided who will be worthy candidates then like the master manipulator he is, brain washed the intentional reject into believing that they should not run again.

The first set of questions is:

1. Does the ULP belong to Ralph?

2. Do the other members of Gonsalves cabinet have any say in this matter?

3. Does the members of the constituency have a say in who will represent them in parliament in the next election?

4. Will Ralph Gonsalves be offering himself as a candidate?

5. Will Ralph once again be offering Julian Francis as a candidate?

These are just a few of the questions that the Vincentian community must answer before they go to the poles in 2010-2011 General election. One must also again ask, was the potentially socialistic constitution that was rejected in a referendum by the people, was Ralph Gonsalves' way of holding socialistic sway over all of SVG in the same manner in which he now holds tyrannical sway over the ULP and its supporters?

One must also ask:

• Who is to be blame for the failure of the ULP government?

• Who should take responsible for the arrogance and abusive personality of the Prime Minister?

• Who was responsible for putting the Prime Minister in such a compromising position that a female police officer and the Vincentian/Canadian Human Right lawyer were able to bring degrading criminal allegations against him?

• Who is responsible for bankrupting the economy of the already cash strap country of St. Vincent?

• Who started the faith project (international airport) that caused several billion dollars without a sound plan as to how he is going to secure funding for that project?

• Aren’t these types of faith practice reserved for members of the Christian community that work with no particular deadline in mind and who depends on the generosity of the members and their willingness to solicit?

• Who was responsible for investing scars state funds in an international airport project, with no sound plan of financing the day to day running of the airport? Thus, this project is going to be another state liability.

• Who invested needed funds in the construction of a cross country road then abundant the project after spending millions of the nation’s monies on a project that did not have any economical significant to the country.

In Ralph Gonsalves eyes, gone are the days when leaders were to man up and take responsibility for their mistakes, indiscretions and failures. It is clear that Ralph is really the problem in the ULP. With the exception of a few learning blunder and expected mistakes the other members of the ULP has function more creditable and with a greater level of statesmanship than their leader.

So you can see, as is usual with Ralph Gonsalves; he is blaming others for his failure. He fail to be a good example to the members of his party, he have failed to be an example to the youths and the nation as a whole, he failed to properly govern and grow the resources of the country and he failed to come up with sound economic recovery plans for St. Vincent and the Grenadines. Ralph Gonsalves has failed himself, he has failed his family, he has failed the ULP, he has failed his constituents and he has failed Vincentian and St. Vincent and the Grenadines: the land of his birth.

So the problem is not the members who Ralph will deny the opportunity, to faithfully serve the country they love so much, as an elected representative in the house of parliament. The problem is Ralph Gonsalves, the man whose plan it is to bring back colonialism to St. Vincent and the Grenadines; by making us a dependant of Venezuela and Cuba.

Below are some questions members of Cabinet, Members of the Unity Labor Party and supporters of the ULP should ask and find answers for and they are:

1. Why the faithful elected members of the ULP should be made to suffer for the incompetence and misdeeds of Ralph Gonsalves?

2. Why the elected member of the ULP should be denied the opportunity to run again; when their only offence was to demonstrate loyal to their party and the party leader?

3. Why should Ralph Gonsalves remain as head of the party and be allowed to run again when he was the reason for the decline of the popularity of the party?

4. Has Ralph Gonsalves been an ambassador of the core values of St. Vincent and the Grenadines?

5. Does the ULP belong to Ralph Gonsalves?

6. Why does Ralph Gonsalves get to manipulate the members of the ULP for his benefit and his political survival?

7. The constituent Groups, don’t they have the right to decide who should represent them in Parliament?

As is the habit of Ralph Gonsalves, who constantly manipulate the Speaker of the house, the Commissioner of Police, the Director of Public Prosecution, his ministers and the party supporters in order to look good. Once again, he continues with the manipulation of his cabinet, the card holding members and supporters of the ULP to ensure his own political survival. How selfish could one man be?

It is always a pleasure to be entertained; however, when your entertainment is a professionally planned live performance, by exceptionally talented musicians, you can expect a thrill that no drug can provide. Tonight, I had the distinguish pleasure of attending a live concert; compliment of New York City Government, who is instrumental in providing brooklynites with free entertainment. The audience was favored with performance by the talented Antoinette Montague; a beautiful singing sensation with a voice that makes you wants to stand to your feet and give her an ovation, each time she opens her mouth. She entertained the audience with many popular Jazz numbers as well as a song that was written by her titled: Behind the smile, this song is featured on her new album.

One of the tremendous talents that providing music for Antoinette was her musical director: Tommy James. Tommy is a skillful musician, whose fingers create magic when they tickle the ivories. Tommy “magic Fingers” James is a musician of tremendous skill and class as was demonstrated, by his performance tonight. He also holds the auspicious position of Musical Director; with the Duke Ellington band that is still touring.

Bill Easley the master Saxophone, the Flute and the clarinet

Bill Easley: is known as the Hurricane; he is so named because of the way he creates his magic. Bill is an accomplished Broadway star, but tonight this accomplished musician mesmerized the audience with his skills on the Saxophone, the Flute and the clarinet. It is evident that he had mastered these instruments. Bill blows like a tornado and is capable of knocking you off of your seat; then knocks you over and over and over with his sweet melody. Bill Easley is currently in the play titles: This side of Paradise.

Double Bass Master Jon Barr

There is the cool but deadly Bass player; Jon Barr, who is a tremendously talented bass musician. From looking at Jon one will come to the conclusion that he allows the music to engulf him. It is not hard to see that Jon and his double bass has a love affair and together they produce great melody, which was clearly seen in his performance but more so when he did his unaccompanied solo.

Master Drummer Payton Crossley

Then we come to the magician himself Payton Crossley. This talented yet unassuming percussionist is surely a genius on the drums. I have seen Payton done things and create sound from his drums I have never seen or heard before. Payton has a tremendous ability and he is not afraid to do what he can to enhance the music and the over all performance of those he is called upon to accompany.

All in all tonight was a good night; I get to rub shoulders with some of New York’s greatest musicians. What next for me in this City? That is the question I cannot answer.

The Case File Against Allan H. F. Palmer As Prepared By the Bermuda Police Service

Below is the case file as was investigated and compiled by the Bermuda Police Service, in their effort to prosecute Allan H. F. Palmer the author of this blog. There are many events that were left out of the Case the Bermuda Police Service prepared against Palmer. These behind the scenes event that did not make it into the case file; due to the fact, they were not in the interest of the Bermuda Police Service to include them.

Missing from the post are items from casefile, which are the bulkey extract that was taken from the this blog which the Bermuda Police Service used to creat their case. however; we all know from where and why this case found its fuel.

It is the police duty to engage in a search for justice; however, when the police ignore the core principles on which they are asked to function then they becomes the criminals: vigilante. When criminals are in charge of policing the community; then there will have an increase in violent and other crimes.

From Reading, you will notice, the victim and accuse in this matter Allan H. F Palmer PC 2209, rendered his full cooperation with the investigators and their investigation; except in cases when to do such would have been consenting to have his rights violated. He stood up against a discriminatory and prejudicial disciplinary system that exists in the Bermuda Police Service and because Allan knew that the outcome of the kangaroo court was predetermined; he refused to play along with the game of his oppressors and tendered his resignation thus leaving the Bermuda Police Service on his own free will, with his good name and reputation as a honest person and a dedicated police officer intact.

Allan’s love Justice, his appreciation for the law but most important his faith and confidence in Jehovah give him the patience to hang in there while all the foolishness was going on. Allan believes that it is only a matter of time, before all those who cause him unnecessary discomfort, hardship and emotional stress whilst he was in Bermuda, will be dwelt with by Jehovah.

It is Allan's hope, that you enjoy reading through this case file and find a new appreciation for the strength of this man and all who were so unduly prosecuted by the Bermuda Police Service or any oppressive regime or administration be it political or otherwise.

Anything that is worth doing, is worth doing well, we must also be cognisent of the fact that any operation of any significant may take a while before such can or may bear any meaningful results. We must also come to the realization that change do not come over night, especially if such changes may dig into the profits of those who are expected to accept or make the change. An example of this, is the problem, Barack Obama is currently experiencing in his plight to secure Health care for all American, which in my opinion and the opinion of his opposers, is quit reasomable. In such cases, those who are vested with the responsibility to effect such changes will resist such, ever at cost that is more expensive than implementing the required changes.

In the campaign which is being waged by me, that is titled: The Andrew Thomas Campaign for Police and Public Health has made some accomplishment. The most significant of the accomplishment so far is the acknowledgement the Premier of Bermuda made to this campaign via his assistance liana Hall. He acknowleded the campaign and asure us the said is under review.

Why is this reply significant?

The reply from the Premier’s office is significant for the following reasons:

1. It is an acknowledgement that the campaign is a worthy one.

2. The campaign has got the attention of the island Premier; the most influential political individual on the island of Bermuda.

3. The premier is the person who has the power to instruct or order a comprehensive investigation into this matter and ensure that such is carried out.

4. Being a medical professional he has an understanding of the situation and will be sensitive to such a matter.

5. He has the authority and can ensure that funds are placed in the budget for the required scientific studies and or research can be conducted.

Although the Governor is head of state, the premier is the one who controls the island purse, he along with his cabinet is responsible for its management and its growth.

It is my hope that the members of the Bermuda Police Association will get up off of their laurels and join this campaign because each of them are going to benefit.

To Premier of Bermuda: the Hon. Dr. Ewart Browne (JP MP) thanks for your acknowledgement and for demonstrating such level of statesmanship. Your sensitivity to this matter is not only critical it is appreciated by the men and women who ensure your security and the security of your country.

This is not the all in all for the campaign; it is only a stepping stone that will aid for more significant movement.

How are you? I trust that this correspondence meets you in good physical and psychological health. However, because of the nature of your office, I will not waste your time with anymore formalities, but rather; I will get directly to my reason for writing to you.

As you may be aware, I have been following the events as they occurs in St. Vincent and the Grenadines and from the many conflicting news that emanates from the printed, audio and audio visual media which including the internet, are tained and it is often hard to distinguish the truth from lies, right from wrong and the fabricated from the genuine stories. I do not have any interest in rumors, lies and innuendo hence the reason I decide to over look all of the rumors, that is currently circulating within and without of St. Vincent as it relates to national governance and allegations of misbehavior of public officers in public office. As a concern citizen, I write to you as head of Government and chief administrator of the Nation's business for honest answers to the below question.

I hope you will see it fit, to treat me with the dignity I deserved and provide frank, honest and forthright answers to even the difficult questions.

1. Did you cause about one million United States of America dollars cash, to be deposited into the national commercial bank?

2. Did you or your agent give the banking authorities adequate, justifiable and lawful, account of how you came into the money?

3. Are you of the opinion that you are not entitled to inform the public of the source of the moneies in question? If yes why do you hold such opinion?

4. Don’t you think the community has a right to know about the financial and other activities of the people they elect to manage and grow the nation’s (St. Vincent and the Grenadines) resources?

5. I have seen what appear to be authentic documents, which clearly suggest that large quantities of money were exchange at the national Commercial Bank by some of your friends, members of your family and some of acquaintances. Were these transactions conducted on your or the UPL behalf at your instruction?

6. If so why did you choose to use such a suspicious rout to make a lawful transaction?

7. Don’t you think that such transaction would have been viewed by the public, as transactions that have many elements of dishonesty associated with them?

8. Did the monies in question enter St. Vincent and the Grenadines legally?

9. If the answer to question 8 is yes; please provide an explanation showing how the monies entered St. Vincent and the Grenadines by showing the paper trail.

10. If the answer to question 8 is no; please explain how the money entered St. Vincent and the Grenadines? and who were involved in smuggling the money into the country?

11. And did you authorize such unlawful movement of monies?

12. Please tell us who give the monies to you and who was the intended owners. Was the monies a loan, a grant or did someone donate the money to you or your party and for what purpose were the monies to be use?

13. In 2008 a female police officer made allegations of rape and sexual assault against you. Did you raped and sexually assault that police officer?

14. The young Canadian/Vincentian human rights lawyer; did you attempted rape her?

15. Did you sexually assault her as she alleged?

16. Have you ever raped and or sexually assaulted any male or female before these allegations were made?

17. Did you raped and or sexually assault any person after these allegations were brought against you?

18. Do you think the office of Prime Minister which you now hold, makes you better and more important than other Vincentians?

19. If the office of Prime Minister, which you holds does not make you more important than other Vincentian; why did you saw if fit, to use the influence of your office; the office of the Prime Minister to manipulate the system to pervert the course of Justice on your behalf?

20. Anesia Richards-Baptiste don’t you think that instead of having the Public Service Commission prosecute this young lady, you should ensure that she be rewarded for her valiant efforts in taking the time to study the constitution and for educating the community without being paid for her efforts?

21. Why did you feel the need to have George Jackson then Bermuda Commissioner of Police and Randolph “Randy” Liverpool to try discredit my character by plotting to have me fired from the Bermuda Police Service; and by trying to entrap me on several criminal charges one of which was: “conspiracy to kill Ralph Gonsalves Prime Minister of St. Vincent and the Grenadines?”

22. Why did you arrange to send Andrew Kirkpatrick Mitchell a Jamaican hit man who lived in St. Lucia to Dominica to kill me (Allan H. F. Palmer) while I was on that island (Dominica) in October 2008 setting up a business?

Culture From St. Georges, Bermuda: The Ducking of A Gossiper

On the eastern side of the island of Bermuda, there is a pristine, little town call St. Georges. This small but historically rich town is home to many historic buildings, proud celebration and momentous rituals. The town begins each new year with a gathering in the town square, where the town's people give thanks for the old year, while accepting the unknown that lies ahead in the new year. This is done with a grand celebration of the island culture. In recent years the festival has grown to the point where people from all over the island and around the world come to look forward with great anticipation and will congregate in the town’s square to be apart of the New Year celebration.

There is also the peppercorn parade, it is customary, that the head of the island: the Governor, who enters the parade with his wife to 17 gun salute, in a horse-drawn carrage and the head of government: the premier are always in attendance this prestigious event.

In the summer, the town also has its Tuesday night; Harbor Night celebration. This celebration is geared for the tourist but is very much patronized by the locals. At Harbor Night the local artisans offer their craft for sale and the tourists are entertained by the talents of Bermuda. Harbor Night is a romantic rendezvous for local and visitors alike. A couple can sit by the sea, as they listen to the gentle waves carresses the shore envoking the spirit of romance or you can be mesmerize by the rich Caribbean music that dances its way into your hearts, un-leaching the unexpressed love that resides there, as you sit snuggled close to the one you love; enjoying a cheap, simple yet tasty Bermudian dinner under the moon or starlight.

But the most fascinating event that is replayed on a regular basis is the use of the ducking chair. The ducking chair was a punishment that was design to punish rude, disruptive and gossiping women of yesteryear. Ducking was a punishment that was design to humiliate the offenders; except for when it was done in the cold winter months. Below are photos I took while I was in Bermuda, which captured a re-enactment of a ducking ceremony. The female that was being punished was found guilty of gossiping. A Conspiricy to Charge Allan Palmer, For Conspiring to Murdering Ralph E. Gonsalves: The Prime Minister OF St. Vincent

It was brought out that whilst I was in Bermuda, I suffered at the hands of two of my country men: Commissioner of Police George Jackson and Superintendent of Police Randolph Liverpool. I suffered at their hands because of my campaign to have Ralph E. Gonsalves arrested and charged for the allegation of Rape and Sexual Assault of one of my ex-female colleague: a female Constable from the St. Vincent and the Grenadines Police Force and later the allegation brought by a young Vincentian human rights lawyer who resides in Canada; both of whom will continue to remain nameless for obvious reasons.

But there were some interesting behind the scenes activities that occurred by some of the new Vincentian arrivals to Bermuda that may shock you to your core. But common sense and wisdom will always prevail.

Each time it was made public that Ralph Gonsalves had a death threat against his life, a particular Vincentian police officer who is policing in Bermuda will come to my apartment outfitted with recording equipment all in an effort to try to entrap me, either confessing to or making threats against Ralph Gonsalves’ life or to reveal to him anything that could incriminating me.

You may ask yourself or attempt to ask me, why my fellow country man will do such a thing.

Firstly the police authority did not have any case against me, that were not a direct violation of my human and constitution right and the fact that my campaign against Ralph Gonsalves did not stop despite threats from George Jackson the Commissioner of Police action that will be taken against me if I do not desist from calling into the radio programs (New Times or Lynch) and writing in the News paper in St. Vincent and the Grenadines. I informed George Jackson in the presence of Now Assistance Commissioner of Police Jackman; that he cannot instruct me not to participate in the affairs of my country.

How Far will Ralph Gonsalves and his criminal Friends were willing to go:

In Bermuda there is a Conspiracy charge that is widely used; it does not take much to prove that you have conspired to commit a criminal offence. If you noticed that there were always vague reports of threats made against Ralph Gonsalves, yet there were never specific information associated with the threats. Were the threats made via telephone email or threats made via the postal system? If you noticed the information never mentioned the true source of the threats.

In this technologically advance world a phone call made from a barred telephone be it domestic or cellular phone can be easily tracked and the same with an email communication. Although it may be harder to trace communication that was made via the postal service system, they can be tracked to a specific location and knowledge of that location can be narrowed down the search.

Threat made via the telecommunication system or email can be easily detected. If the powers that be receive a threat against a head of state or head of Government, if the authorities have reason to take such threats seriously, then the source of the threats can be easily detected. However it is not so easy to detect the sender a threat laced mails when such was sent via the postal service system. We have examples of the trouble P John found himself in trouble some years ago when he under the shadow of anonymity circulated a damaging document via the internet. He was discovered and made to apologize forth with in order to avoid a lawsuit.

Now these threats against Ralph Gonsalves’ life as was released to the press was just a part of the well laid plans that were coordinated to try to entrap and charge for conspiracy to commit murder; the victim being the Prime Minister of St. Vincent: Ralph Gonsalves.

Could you imagine how this would have affected me if I was so charged and convicted of conspiracy to committing the murder of a head of government? But Jehovah is good and has been good to me.

This plot failed, in the same way the plot the Bermuda Police Authority also arranged for my downfall failed, when they use the beautiful young lady, (whom they thought I was in love with) to pressure me into giving her basic information about herself from the police system. I love women, but I know where to draw the line.

It is believed to be used for protection, to harm enemies and to ensure personal success. It is made and kept in secret and only the owner knows of its existance, composition and purpose.

This piece is a 19th Century stool from the Cook Island (Lene) this stool was delicately carved from a single piece of wood and belong to the chief. It is important to note that only the chief sat on an elevated level, the other member of the tribe sat on the ground.

Letter To The Bermuda Press.

To Editor

Dear madam/Sir,

I am taking this opportunity to inform you of my efforts to find answers to a very troubling series of events that have been impacting a cross section of the Bermudian community.

Over the years, there have been reasons for concerns as it relates to the sudden and serious illness along with the untimely and unexplained death that have been plaguing members of the Bermuda Police Service. As you will know over the last year the Bermuda Police Service had another three serving officers dying. These high rates of sudden illnesses and passive death (death not in the line of duty) have been growing problems that needs urgent attention.

We all know that in 1989, there were reports that give rise to concerns of ex-police officers becoming ill with and dying from cancer. This concern was so great that in 1990, the then Chief Medical Officer of Bermuda; Dr. Can, ordered and allegedly conduct an inconclusive, unscientific study of the problem.

In February of 2004, there were reports that workers at police administration came down with headaches and blurred vision; the cause which was attributed to the poor working condition of the poor structural environment of the condemn building they are forced to work in.

In May 14th 2007 a subsidiary of the Bermuda Police Service was closed after scientific test revealed, the presence of a high mold concentration in that building, was at a dangerous level, to facilitate prolong human presence. There was also the 2008 blog revelation of a similar situation at the Hamilton Police Station.

There is also the issue of the multi-satellite reception facility and the health problem that is associated with the radiation that is linked with such facility.

With the death of my good friend Andrew Thomas, I have commit to use my voice and energy to call for those responsible, to ensure that answer to the question are found and action is taken to reduce the health risk the members of the Bermuda Police Service is now facing and in the process promote longevity among the BPS members.

In order to achieve this objective, I have embarked on a 5 phase campaign; after a period of planning I put the first phase into effect 4th February 2009. This phase consist of writing letters to several key institution and individual in the Bermuda society to use their personal influence and office to bring about some meaningful change. I have written to the Governor and his deputy, the Commissioner of Police, Bermuda Police Association, the Premier, Minister of Health, Bar Association, Human Rights Commission, BDA Cancer Association, The Speaker of the House of Assemble, the leaders of the trade unions and many others. The second phase of this campaign is to bring this campaign and the action of the first phase to the press.

Unfortunately, in order to avoid stumbling blocks and sabotage I am unable to inform you of the up coming three phase of this concern, however I can assure you that each stage this campaign is more intense then the previous stage.

It is my hope that those who are responsible and are invested with the authority to ensure that the appropriate action is taken thus avoiding the prolong suffering of the people who protect the nation.

This Police Illness is nothing New: Royal Gazette Article By Stephen Breen Written in 2000

Crushing Fools Blog is celebrating one hundred (100) article and counting.

One in five overseas officers who lived in Henderson Barracks in the late 1950s and early 1960s and who stayed on the Island, either died of cancer or were battling against the disease, a local survey found in 1998.

Around 15 were either dead or diagnosed as having the disease in 1998, but the figure is now thought to be nearer 20.

The unexplained cluster includes at least eight ex-officers who are known to have died of the disease.

Other ex-Policemen who left the Island for Canada and the United Kingdom after living in the barracks have also died of cancer.

After the story broke in the Mid-Ocean News in 1998, the Daily Telegraph in London reported there were fears that 130 officers who did a three-year tour in Bermuda may have contracted cancer but did not realise it.

Chief Medical Officer Dr. John Cann launched an inquiry into the deaths in 1998, but so far no details of the investigation have been released. At the time, Dr. Cann said an overseas expert would need to be brought in to look at the information collected.

Many of the officers contracted cancer of the oesophagus. Statistics from the United Kingdom show the likelihood of contracting the disease is one in 7,000.

A Police spokeswomen said yesterday: "The matter is in the hands of the Health Department''.

Dr. Cann was off the Island yesterday, and Dr. Brenda Davidson, who was supervising the investigation, was on leave.

A Department spokeswoman said no one else would be able to comment. Former Police officer Neville Spalding, who has intenstinal cancer and had 80 percent of his stomach taken out, said he had been visited by Dr. Davidson in connection with the cancer cluster.

"I believe she and (chief Medical Officer Dr. John Cann) care, but they are Government employees and I don't know how far they want them to take this.

Cancer mystery deepens "I don't know if they really want to do this or not.

"Brenda did tell me there is nothing conclusive and it probably doesn't point anywhere because there is such a broad spectrum of illness.

"They probably need an epidemiologist or a good insurance inspector to find out what happened.'' Friends and former colleagues yesterday paid tribute to 57-year-old Mr.

Instone. Cable and Wireless general manager Eddie Saints said: "John did recognise that a group of former Police officers who stayed at the barracks had got cancer and he took his health very seriously.

"He said he was lucky he was as healthy as he was and he was very conscious of it.

"He was highly regarded within the Cable and Wireless family and I have recieved messages of condolence from around the Caribbean. He touched a lot of people, and we just wish we could have done more for him.'' Sadly missed: John Instone, the latest former Bermuda Policeman to die from cancer.

When I posted the last article on this blog, on 3rd of January 2010; I ended that article with a promise, to venture on a quest, to search for answer to ensure that Andrew Thomas' sudden, untimely and tragic death will not be in vane and to prevent others from suffering a similar fate. I take on this assignment because of the tragic nature of the problem that confronts the members of the Bermuda Police Service. One will ask, why the Bermuda Police Service immidiately declared that fowl play was not suspected in Andrew Thomas' death, he being a young healthy male; and even before a postmortem was preformed and such report was available. Do they know something that the average citizen do not know.

Bermuda is a small island with a history and a tradition of keeping many dirty secrets, secrets that are well guarded; secrets that certain people will go to extreme Length to protect all in an effort to maintain the status quo.

Something is terrible wrong, for it is highly unlikely and surely out of the normal for such institution to experience so many unexplained illness and death without something being extremely wrong. Although I cannot say for sure, what is responsible for high volume of unexplained illnesses and sudden passive (death outside the line of duty by a serving officer) death among police personnel of the Bermuda Police Service; there are many suspected conditions that may account fot these.

I know that many of my former colleagues are wondering what form this campaign is going to take. Unfortunately, I cannot publicly discuss my intended stragady with anyone at this time; however, I will bring to the attention of anyone who has a personal or professional interest in this matter; the actions taken and the results such action yield if any. For now, I have embarked on a three (3) phase campaign, which I hope to develop and be altered depends of the results the action yields.

I will like to remind all, that I have only one thing of value, and that is: my words. I have never backed out on my words. If I say that I am going to do a particular thing, You can be guarantee, that against all odds and against adverse circumstances I will ensure that I live up to my words.

So' be assure, that I am going to get to the bottom of the concerns that have been a worry for the serving members of the Bermuda Police Service, the friends and family of serving officers who have been affected, those who have not yet been affected.

To Commissioner Da Silva, This is not an attempt to undermine your commissionership as some are hoping I would use this blog to do. Let me assure you that I am of the opinion that you deserves every opportunity to be the best commissioner you can be. for several reason which I will not go into. Let it be known, the author of this blog Mr. Allan H. F Palmer has vow to support your commissionership, and as a result I will refrain from publishing any information or to make any public declaration on this blog that can affect commissioner Dasilva's ability to effectively manage the Bermuda Police Service and get a grip on crime.

I may have reason to call upon pass and serving members of the Bermuda Police Service to take certain action to aid in obtaining the answers and action in a timely manner. So until your participation is required follow this blog and keep the discussion alive.

Should Andrew Thomas' Death Be In Vane?

When I learn of the death of another member of the Bermuda Police Service, I was dishearten, for I know it was possible that I may have worked with that person. When I learnt that the person who met their sudden demised was Andrew Thomas, I searched the corridors of my mind to understand who Andrew Thomas was; however, no matter how hard I tried I could not match a face to the name.

Without bothering to make any inquiries, I concluded I did not know Andrew Thomas. Even after I wrote the article titled Three More BPS Police Officer Die In 2009.. What Is Responsible For The High Passive Mortality Rate In The Bermuda Police Service? something about Andrew Thomas worried me immensely; unfortunately, I just could not put my finger on it. However, on Saturday 2nd January 2010, I was aroused from my sleep with a picture in my head. A picture of Andrew Thomas was washed from the halls of my memory into my conscious. I put that picture out of my head and went back to bed, for Andrew was a young healthy male, who was one year my junior; how was it possible for him to drop dead without any warning. Once again I was awoken and it was the same scene that was responsible for my sleeplessness.

Thanks for modern technology I got onto my computer and I opened my face book page as well as my MSN page to look for anyone who could have provided the information I was looking for. Fortunately I saw Miss Simons on line and I made my inquiries. Unfortunately and to my dismay, I was informed that my friend Andrew Thomas was the one who died. Denial can do that to a person. Because of my relationship with Andrew I presumable block his picture from my mind and thus failed to make the connection; associating the name with the face.

Like each of us Andrew Thomas was not perfect but from my experience with this young man I can conclude that Andrew Thomas was a decent and a humble man. You may ask how I can conclude that. It is said that first impression means a lot, but when a person first impression, becomes a reoccurring theme in your experience with them, then you know that person is genuine.

In order for you to understand the relationship I built with Andrew Thomas, you will have to understand my experience with him. When I left My home land to work in Bermuda, I Left all I knew behind (Family, friends, acquaintances, familiar faces, places practice and customs) in St. Vincent and the Grenadines, for a place I knew nothing about except for the little I read about the people and country. I had a hard time adjusting, this along with some problem that was created for me by Ralph Gonsalves’ avenging angel: Randolph (Randy) Liverpool (who were ensuring that I pay for foiling many of Ralph Gonsalves’ ploy to discredit some good people and institution in St. Vincent) were responsible for the mild bout with depression I experienced. This was the frame of mind I was in when I met Andrew.

I can remember about four or so years ago, while assigned to the Hamilton Police Station and attached to C-watch, the same watch Andrew was attached to also but he work at the Somerset Police Station. On this particular date, the Somerset Police Station were short staffed, and they needed help. On this occasion I was assigned to work at the Somerset Police Station and my partner for that evening was Police Constable Andrew Thomas.

After a brief introduction, Thomas used the experience he gained in dealing with foreign police officers in such predicament to put me at ease. He inquired of how I was dealing with my new environment and he offered some suggestion that may help me through my term in the Bermuda Police Service. Thomas took the opportunity to gave me a brief of the dos and the don’ts, the who is and the who is not, vital information that was design to help me adjust to life in Bermuda and in the Bermuda Police Service. We made a stop at Ice Queen and he offered to buy me dinner. Thomas drove for hours teaching me Bermuda’s Western Police District. We hit the trouble spot, the scenic site and the hangout location. After which we drove to his home; he invited me into his home and offered me of the abundance of his pantry. This was the beginning of my friendship with Andrew. It was always a pleasure to meet up with Andrew, for he always had a smile on his face, concern for my well being and a jovial conversation.

The quality of a person and the value of their friendship is not measure by the quality of the fun you had in the good times; however, the quality of a person and the value of their friendship is measured by the impact that person has on you in your time of need and the support they provided to you, in your time of distress.

Andrew was one who many people called upon when they need a friend; he always had a listening ear, a supportive view, words of wisdom and or an honest reply to offer.

According to the report Andrew die suddenly and to date there is no plausible medical explanation for his death. It will be interesting if Andrew traveled out of Bermuda recently. If he did, or even if he did not this reminds me of another young police officer’s sudden, unexplained and traumatic death. I speak of the death of no one but Paul Marsden: the events are the same.

Bermuda, member of the Bermuda Police Service, friends and family of Andrew Thomas, friends and relatives of the countless other who had their love ones became unexplainable ill or die suddenly and unexplainable: are you going to allow Andrew Thomas’ death, to become just another statistic; another dot or number on a page, a means of calculating mortality rate?

Andrew Thomas was there for me in my time of need and I owe it to his family, his memory and his legacy to ensure that Andrews’ death, like the hundreds of other officers who have die suddenly and/or who had undergone unexplained illness, to put pressure on the authorities to bring to the public and the serving men attention, the cause of such illnesses and or their deaths and if they don’t know what is responsible for the sudden and unexplained illness that lead to death in so many case. It is also a campaign for the relevant authorities to take the necessary steps to rectify the problems that is affecting the officers health. If the don't already know (which I have a sneaking suspicion they do) what the problem are, that they take the necessary steps to find out what is responsible for these occurrence. This article marks the beginning of my campaign for information and closer for my colleagues whom I knew and don’t know.

You know what the sad thing is? It is the fact that if any authority, be it police management, politician, or any other person with or in authority; who has information of what is killing or making members of the Bermuda Police Service sick; and that person or persons refuse to inform anyone who will be so exposed of the danger of such danger to life and health, and thus induced anyone to ignorantly work in an environment that can induced or cause their health to deteriorate or which may cause any such person who were expose to die may be guilty of of an offence; namely: murder or attempted murder; by reason of neglect.

It have been a year and five months, since I brought to the attention of the Bermuda Police Association as well as to the attention of the public (which also got the attention of some international health agency) the unhealthy condition of the many facilities that is occupied by the Bermuda Police Service. These buildings includes and are not limited to the building that house the Hamilton Police Station, which was condemned over three decades ago; all of the buildings at Headquarters Hill, Devonshire, which houses: The Police Recreation Club, Police Administration, Narcotic Department, Intelligence Unit, The Telecommunication Unit, The Police Training School etc. Buildings which were deemed unfit, to be used by their previous occupants, who for obvious reasons had to vacated the buildings that were subsequently condemned. Unfortunately, the Government of Bermuda saw It fit to make these unhealthy, condemned building, the places of daily operation of the Bermuda Police Service.

Yet another year has come and pass and it is business as usual, three more police officers were diagnosed with and die from terminal illnesses yer it is still business as usual. I am speaking of three more officers, who participated in or supported the public demonstration (protest march) for more money, while neglecting the health issues that have been affecting and affected hundreds of their colleagues; yet they did not live long enough to enjoy the money they choose over their health. When you consider the whole scenario, it is such a sad occurrence, that could have been avoided with a little foresight and a little innovative thinking.

Carl Nedlet and the Bermuda Police Association, have failed to look out for the welfare of their members. The failure of the Bermuda Police Association not only kill their members but was responsible for their illnesses. Unfortunately it is the family of the decease and the ill who really suffer.

I hope that the Bermuda Police Association is not waiting on the incoming Commissioner of Police; Mike Da Silva to solve this ongoing problem. It is important that they understand, as much as Commissioner Da Silva will like to address the on going issue of the unhealthy working environment The Bermuda Police Service is confronted with, there is not much he can do. Although he is responsible for the B.P.S members, he is not really accountable to them. Commissioner Of Police is accountable to the Government and people of Bermuda. Unfortunately Mike Da Silva has to work with the time table of the Government. The harsh reality is; he has no say as to how the Government of Bermuda allocates and spend their funds. His core responsibilities are to ensure that crime and criminal activities are kept at a manageable rate.

So while the members of the Bermuda Police Association are collecting the dues from their members, they turn the attention of the membership to unimportant issues, while praying on the gratitude of the healthy members who are only to happy that they are not the one lying on the bed of the terminally ill, or on a slab in the morgue. But the big question that members of the Bermuda Police Service must ask themselves is: am I the next person to become unexplainable ill, or die from an avoidable terminal illness?

Don’t forget Wayne Gaskin who escaped death only by the grace of God, let us not forget Detective Donald, who has two progressively failing kidneys, and the countless others who are still suffering. When will you have the Wayne Gaskin, Stevie Darrell, Grant Yard, Paul Marsden, Gary Young or the Andrew Thomas' experience. If you are sure that you are invincible and immune from any such medical condition, then you can continue life, business as usual. Don’t forget, there were three healthy police officers who experienced sudden illness and die from malignant terminal illnesses in 2009. Who will it be in 2010?

Let us examine the other government departments, social institution, financial institution, places of work and/or organization that operate in Bermuda and compare the amount of unexplained illnesses and or death they experienced over the pass year, five years, ten, fifteen or twenty years with that with the Bermuda Police Service. These are easy research to conduct and should be done. But the Big question is; will it be done? It is every one's wish that this problem will go away, just evaporate into thin air. Since it will not just go away, like the hundred of other solvable problems that no one cares about, it will be swept under the rug as always. I hope that no one else trip over the bulged in the rug and die the way complacent police officers had been dying; for they to were also responsible for creating the bulge in the rug.

The Bermuda Police Service has the highest passive mortality rate in the history of police organization in the world. Is this unfortunate event important enough to find out why?

Yes, Yes I know, the truth hurts and offends many, but the truth must be spoken. If the truth is not spoken by me, who will?

An Abuse of Power: Is Bermudian Getting The Justice They Ought To?

From my stint in Bermuda, I have interacted with many Bermudian who were detained in police custody on various drug smuggling offences. In most cases the alleged offenders would have had a package apprehended by the police from one of the three renowned international courier services that operate on the Island of Bermuda: DHL UPS or FedEx.

Then I had an experienced that caused me to question the methods used by and the integrity of the Bermuda Police Service when dealing with the citizen of Bermuda; more specifically in the area of drug related offences. The questions I am trying to get an answer to are as follows:

Have the Bermuda Police Service been honest and forthright in dealing with the thousands of individuals who have had their packaged searched, seized, were arrested, their activities investigated, their phone tapped, their homes searched, their friends and family inconvenience with questioning and in some case detained, the subject charged, prosecuted and in most cases the accused person went to court and plead guilty: in order to avoid the inconvenience and the negative attention of a long trial? Have they been honest in their dealings?

From my experience most Black Bermudian are of the opinion that the court system is tailored to deny them justice and as a result they refuse to fight for their rights. These are occurrences the presiding Jurist, the police, the defense lawyers and the prosecutor appreciates very much, for these court officers it is an opportunity to reduce the excess cases load but most of all, they get out of court early. This come at the expense of Justice and too often resulted in the conviction of innocent citizen, which is not good for justice. I often wonder what happened to the philosophy that it is better for ten guilty men to go free than for one innocent man to be convicted.

In April 2009, after speaking to my sister via telephone to arranged the shipment of my new passport which she was in possession of after collecting it from the passport office in Kingstown, St. Vincent. The phone calls between us were to make arrangement to ensure that we were on the same page with the shipping of my travel Document (passports) to me. The arrangement was made for my passports to be shipped to me via Federal Express (FedEx) which I should have received on the 7th April 2008. The FedEx agent in St. Vincent who is my good friend, ensure she properly label the package detailing the content of the package on the place provided for such.

Sensing that something was terrible wrong I constantly tract the movement of my package using FedEx on line tracking. When the package arrived in Bermuda, I immediately called FedEx office to make arrangement to collect the package. However I was informed that the package was in the possession of the delivery agent. Later that morning the delivery agent contacted me and informed me that he has a package for me. I made my way to his location where I signed the necessary document and collected the package. When I collected the package, I was in the company of one adult female and two children.

On receipt of the package I noticed the package was tampered with and the damage was repaired with and clear tape. I opened the package in the presence of the FedEx delivery person who informed me that was the condition the package was in, when it was given to him.

Isn’t it the procedure of any legitimate shipping company FedEx including; to inform their customers if a package was damaged and its content missing? FedEx workers could not claim they did not know that the content of the package was missing, because there is a manifest (airway bill) that outlines the content of the package and its value. Isn’t it procedure for any legitimate company FedEx included to inform their customers if their package or part of the shipment were seized by the police if doing so will not interfere with an on going investigation? And aren’t they (legitimate shipping company including FedEx) professionally and legally obligated to inform the customers if such seizure was affected if the shipment or the content of the shipment did not contravene any law?

Isn’t it the procedure for any well structured police service or force, if the seized a package or the content of or part of the content of a package to first inform the owners and initiate an arrest if any law was violated.

While conducting my inquiries, the behavior of the senior customs officer who was assigned to clear FedEx consignments and the Manager of FedEx Bermuda Ltd. had the dirty hand print of Bermuda Police Service all over my missing passport. So I made a formal report to the police documenting the theft of two St. Vincent passports, then I wrote a letter to the Manager of FedEx Bermuda Ltd. Below is the content of the letter I submitted to the Manager of FedEx Bermuda Ltd.

On Wednesday 9th April 2008, I duly brought to your attention and I have also taken the timeout to show you a package I received from your delivery service, which was tampered with and part of the contents namely two St. Vincent and the Grenadines Pass Port (one that was canceled with an American Visa in it, and a new Pass Port that is in compliance with the USA standards) in the name of Allan H. F. Palmer was missing form the package; a package your delivery person admitted he received from the warehouse as he delivered it.

And as you have informed me on recognizing the tape on the package that the tape used is that which is used by custom official to reseal a package after a package was examined by the Bermuda Customs, and as was confirmed by the customs officer who states that the person who use the tape should not have use the said tape on the package as they are making a transition from that tape to a new tape.

I do not have to inform you, of the importance of someone in my position having a Pass Port.

In my effort to get a speedy replacement pass port I am requesting a letter from your company verifying that a passport was shipped from St. Vincent and the Grenadines to Bermuda via Federal Express and that package was tampered with and the Pass Port removed from the package.

Such a letter will aid in me getting a speedy replacement. Let me take this opportunity to thank you for your speedy cooperation in this urgent matter. Thank you.

The big questions that must be answered are:

How did the Bermuda Police Service official know, that my passports were coming into Bermuda on that particular date?

The Bermuda Police Service was illegally listening into my phones conversations.

Did the Bermuda Police Service obtain lawful authority that instructed the FedEx management to hand over to them for the purpose of searching and to confiscate the content of the package?

Did the Bermuda Police Service get such lawful authority from a presiding Jurist or Justice of the Peace? If the answer to this question is yes; what was the information they provide to the Jurist to justify the issuing such authority?

Every moment of that day is fixed in my memory for two reasons the first reason: it was the day my passport was stolen by the institution I served faithfully and for the mere fact that although such a adverse occurrence it was also my best day in Bermuda.

I can clearly remember seeing the smug look of victory that was plastered on the faces of the main perpetrators Assistance Commissioner of Police: Mike Jackman and his accomplice Inspector Haynes.

Now if Mike Jackman and his accomplices were willing to break the law and possible knowingly provide fraudulent information to a presiding Jurist to obtain a lawful authority in order to stress an honest police officer only because he was strong enough to live his conscience and refused to fall in line with their dishonesty and to comply with their illegal instructions. To what lengths will they go to cause the arrest and potential imprisonment of a member of the community who the have an even more serious beef with.

Mike Jackman and the others are paid to uphold the law, if they can disrespect the authority with which they were entrusted, use fraudulent means to persuade a presiding Jurist to do their dirty biddings and to violate the law at will when it is in their egoist interest; then who is safe from these rough police officers. How many Bermudian were arrested and charge and prosecuted base on the dishonest actions of rough police officers. Now the big question is, who is going to police the police?

Who Is Responsible For The Action Of The Youths?

The youths of Bermuda have taken a hard hit over the recent pass and this is so because they have been doing what each of us has done in the pass, while growing up: they made some poor decision. While I resided in St. Vincent and the Grenadines: the land of my birth; without the prompting of anyone I took on the role of mentor many of the nation’s youths. I in several programs, more spacific: in a once a week program that was geared to provide activities for the youths of my neighborhood, this was done in order to provide these young people with an alternative to the negitive cycle (Both parental and community) they were expected to repeat.

I presented to the youths of my neighborhood, a different way of living; The Adventurers Hiking program which attracted youths from all over the country was geared to provide the opportunity for young people to explore their adventurous side by participating in daring events in a controled environment and the Read and Have Fun a program that was instrumental in highlighting the importance of reading and was responsible in inspiring an interest in none reading children in reading. This program was also designed by me and was sponsored by the Vin-save Child Development Center, which was and still is under the Direction of Mrs. Janice Fraser, who was integrally involved in the program.

From my interaction with Bermuda’s Youths I can say that they are no different from the youths in other parts of the world. Like other youths they get involved in petty squabble that get out of hand from time to time, they also have tons of energy that is focus in the wrong direction, there is also the existence of rage and the feeling of invincibility, when these characteristics are properly directed, they can be converted into a productive force and be beneficial to the individual but is left unchecked and poorly directed, such can yield dangerous results.

Here is where the problem begins. The young person is very often unable to properly direct or redirect the surplus of energy, rage or utilize the spirit of invincibility that are common to this demographic of the society and the there is rarely anyone present who can and are willing to dedicate the time and knowledge to help the youths channel their energies and rage in to activities that can allow them to relief themselves of such in a control and productive manner; hence the reason for the problems.

My religious affiliation and my association with the Big Brother Big Sister of Bermuda have given me the opportunity to mentor many of Bermuda’s youths, a responsibility that I took seriously and one that I handled tenderly.

I was connected to Donte by the Big Brother program a wonderful young man that has potential that cannot be measured; Donte is a shy young man who I expect a lot of. With the correct motivation and support there is nothing that he cannot accomplished, We enjoy many games of lawn tennis, when this awesome young man is excited he has such a loud infectious laugh that is a delight to hear.

Later I was given the opportunity by the Big Brother Big Sister to mentor another little. My new mentee’s name was Taj. Taj is a very talkative youngster, which was a sign that he possess an active, curious and inquiring mind. As such, his curiosity leads him to asked many probing questions, a quality that most people will find annoying but a quality that should be encourage and properly directed. If this young man is not discouraged from exercising and expanding his curiosity but encouraged to asked question and is taught how to satisfy such curiosity; by teaching him how to search for such answers; then is no telling what this young man can accomplish.

There is Javan: an intense, high energy and honest youth, who has an extraordinary capacity to love, even for one of so tender an age; he knows how to show appreciate. This young man is a delight to be around. With the correct mentoring, parental guidance and the correct peers Javan will excel in any field.

There are many of Bermuda’s youths that I have grown close to and have grown to love that are not mentioned here. However, the biggest problem with my mentees and every youth are; they are misunderstood. Adults are often not patience enough or they are not willing to dedicate the time needed to allow children to be children. The adult population (parent, teachers, mentors, guardians) must understand that members of this demographic are not adults and they should not expect the youths/children to behave, interact, and grasp concepts and instruction as adults do, for the simple fact they are not adults.

The fact that each adult were once a youth should afford us the understanding of what the youths are going through and thus make us the best parent, guardian and mentors; however, our impatience has made us a danger to our young people. We need to reform our mentality and lifestyle in such a manner that will allow us to be better, more responsible and active mentors, parents and guardian. It is only when we understand that to be a parent or to be given the opportunity to impact or influence the future of a child, or young person; is the most secret responsibility there is; it is then, we will reorganized our priorities and ensure that our children are placed at the top of the list.

We cannot blame the youths for their mal behavior for they are a product of their parents and to a wider extent the community. For the level and the quality of parenting each parent give to their children will in fact determine the quality of the young people and by a larger extent the quality of citizen the community is blessed or cursed with. In turn the parent will give to the community the type of citizen the community demands.

The question what type of citizen is the community demanding from its parents?

The United States of America is celebrating what I refer to as the holiday of reflection: Thanksgiving. Come Thursday 26th November 2009 (the day designate) many people in the USA and around the world will take timeout for honest reflection, for the many cause they have to be thankful.

Like the millions of American I am taking this opportunity this thanksgiving to give thanks for all of the wonderful things and the uplifting experiences that made up my recent and distance past; I am also taking this opportunity to give thanks for the all of the adversities and the misgivings I experienced over the period. For it is those adverse events that inspires character growth in sincere, honest and decent people who are wise enough to look for the teaching/learning moments such unfavorable experiences presents.

Although we avoid speaking of such because of the pain that is associated with awakening the bad memories, it is important to know that it is these moments that is responsible for shaping our character and what makes us the unique people that we are. It will do us good, to move towards healing, put away the bitterness and embrace such unfortunate events as just another of life’s adventure.

This thanksgiving, we must also bear in mind that before we can be truly thankful we must first learn to forgive those who have trespassed against us; for it is only by forgiving that we can truly be appreciative of life’s experiences good and/or bad. How can I be thankful for favor or blessings we did not deserved yet we allows the hate that manifests itself in our heart from allowing us to extend the same favor to another (the person I hate) in need.

I have so much to be thankful for, I am thankful that Jehovah have be store his favor upon me and for blessing me with the prayers of some of the most supportive, confidential, objective and loving family and friends a man could ever asked for. They may not be many but that are just what I need.

I am also thankful to Jehovah for blessing me with a clear mind, which allows me to function above that which is average; for a range of knowledge and the ability to grasp, understand and to apply new concepts with very little ease; for blessing me with wisdom to disown, analyze, and to put things into its proper prospective; but must of all; I am grateful for the ability to honestly, fearlessly, unselfishly clearly communicate my thoughts with others even in the face of possible adverse repercussion.

I am thankful for the fact that the promises of plenty did not caused me to turn a blind eye to the actions of dishonest men, that the love for and of money have never inspired my actions, that prestigious associations could not influences my honesty, and the hope of a handout have never interrupted the effective function of my conscience.

I also give thanks for the opportunity to legally exist in the greatest democracy on earth; where boundless opportunity awaits all: The United States of America. This mighty country where it is impossible for detractors, who dwell in the world of small insecure minds and are engulfed in their petty prejudices to block your path to success and doom you to failure. A place where the impossible dreams are realized and hard workout, talent and valiant efforts are rewarded; a place where redress is guaranteed and there is a place even for the weak. This is not to say that the USA is a perfect place but it is a place where Justice is treasured.

An as always, when the bad times come I will remind myself using the words of the great Vincentian Poet Michael John the Black Messenger:

"I am a winner, my will grows stronger every day. I am that victor; one thing they can never take away. I know the bottle is hard but the struggle is not in vain, each time I stumble and I fall: I WILL RISE AGAIN."

Finally, I must thank Jehovah for my tomorrow and all of the blessing tomorrow has secure for me. For the drive he had placed within me, the willpower I am going to need to persevere in the months ahead, for the strength to break down new barriers, the guts to scale the heights I am going to reach, the drive to attain my new accomplishment that awaits me but most of all I thank Jehovah for ensuring I remains humility, consistent and simple.

The Guiding Principles: What Are They?

it is unfortunate that some supporters of the Vote Yes Campaign are using aspects of the "Guiding Principles" as enforceable laws of the constitution. This is done in an effort to convinced members of the Vincentian community to support their cause and on the 25th November 2009 the community may join with then and vote Yes in the Referendum and thus enact the constitution act 2009 the Supreme law of S.V.G. apart from being unfortunate it is shameful that responsible men will act so immature and dishonest on a matter of national importance.

Although I heard many legal professional speak of the "Guiding Principles" that are apart of the Constitution act 2009; apart from referring to them and the way they are being used no one took the time to explain to the public in simple understandable language (English) what are the Guiding Principles? Why such are apart of the Constitution? And the relevance of such in the context of the body of law?

What are the Guiding Principles?

The Guiding principles are a group of principles that were taking into consideration by the drafters and others participant who were involved in the construction of the Constitution. The Constitution should be based on these principles and therefore they should be reflected within the document. the principles that are held dear and are widely practiced in and by the community. Every action, meeting, discussion, consultation and any other activities that took place as part of the construction process of the final document, in this case: the Constitution Act 2009. The Constitution should have evolved with these principled at the fore. In other words, the guiding principles should have been the light which lit the part that led to this document. Why do I get the impression that the guiding principles were thrown together along the way or even after the constitution was completed.

Every constitution is divided into two section the enforceable section (the law) and the none enforceable section (areas such as the guiding principles)

Why are the Guiding principles a part of the Constitution act 2009?

There are two important reasons why the Guiding Principles are apart of the Constitution act 2009 even though they are not laws. These reasons are:

The Guiding Principles give those who reads the constitution a better understanding of certain aspect of the enforceable part of the constitution as well as; it give others a clear understanding of the principles on which the law was founded.

The Guiding Principles also gives the ordinary individuals as well as those who are endowed with the powers to interpret and make ruling on such laws a guide line as to what objective the people were trying to meet or accomplish, what situation they were trying to address, what conditions they were trying to prevent and what aspect of their life they wanted to protect or what were they guarding against.

So although the Guiding Principles are not enforceable laws, they play a very important interpretive role that will provide a better understanding what was the intention of the of the people when they create this document. (the enforceable section of the constitution act 2009).

Let me give you a practical example of how the guiding principles work.

Let us use for a point of example the first of the Guiding Principles as recorded in the document at 5 (1) which deals with the sovereignty of the people (the people are responsibility for their own affairs). The enforcable section of the Constitution should seek to outline in detail, the means by which the people will be so empowered and how are they are going to excersise their sovereign rights as a people. Nothing in the enforceable laws should seek to erode the sovereignty of the people but to promote such.

lets take a look at the enforceable section of the Constitution to verify whether the body of this document seek to facilitate the empowerment of a sovereign people.

We can see structures such as the establishment of a government as, the establishment of a boundaries commission, the protocol that deals with the election of Representatives and senators, and the other checks and balances to ensures (to a certain extent) that the people remains sovereign and therefore exercise their sovereignty by democracy.

But there are also somethings in the Enforcable section of the constitution that create a threath, not to the soverignty of the country but to the country being a soverign demacracy, by the ease at which the constitution can be tampered with.

any aspect of a cultural, moral, ethical, social practice and belief that is included in a nation's constitution is a sign that these are aspect of their practice and belief that the people cherished and believe should be upheld and protected for the benefit of the current and future generations.

It is therefore dishonest and unconscionable for anyone to promote the guiding principles as enforceable law. I hope it is not a case of: "if you keep the people ignorant you will rule them better."

NEW TOPIC: The Challenge Issued.

It is important for all to understand with the exception for the Constitution parliament has the power to amend, nullify and or make new laws. Parliament also has the power to enforce such new laws, amendment and nullification of any piece of body of law with a majority vote in the house of Parliament. such laws includes any law that is currently enforced.

although it is my legal, and moral conviction that Homosexuality is an inexcusable and vile act; however, the precessing paragraph is the foundation I have laid to make a bold Claim base on the laws of St. Vincent and the Grenadines. I am not only making a bold claim I am also going to challenge any of the Superior legal minds in St. Vincent and the Grenadines or any where in the world to prove me wrong.

On the issue of same sex marriage: there is nothing in the current laws or the new Constitution Act 2009 of St. Vincent and the Grenadines that can prevent two people of the same biological sex or social gender from getting married in St. Vincent and the Grenadines. and those who use the argument of the Buggery laws of the criminal code and the gross Indecency law do not have a practical or legal argument that can convince a Judge that it is illegal for two people of the same sex who want to get married from getting married.

An Open Letter to Leader of the Opp: Arnhim Eustace

Dear Mr. Eustace,

It is with a tremendous level of humility, that I take this opportunity to write this letter to you; to address a situation that has the potential to escalate into a national catastrophe. One that can have a long lasting and devastating effect on your liberty and the liberty of the people of St. Vincent and the Grenadines. I speak of the referendum which will seek to enact the proposed St. Vincent and the Grenadines constitution act 2009, which was passed in the house of Assemble by default on 3rd of September 2009.

Recently I received and reviewed a copy of revised document and I was shock by the quality of the document, the Government of St. Vincent has invested so much time, talent and resources to produce. I am also shock that a man like Ralph Gonsalves who holds a PhD. In political science and a LLB in Law along with his cabinet could be so legally dumb to have sanctioned such a poorly prepared document and take such document to the house for the approval of intelligent men like you, the Major, Dr. Lewis among them.

This lead me to asked the following question, Have my friends Mike Brown and the other former educator in the ULP lost their ability to comprehend written English language? are they no longer interesting in educating the nation’s people? how can they actively participate in the miss-education of the people they say they love? Did Rene Baptiste the prolific lawyer, and a woman whom I like; take the time to review this document? Rene do not strike me as one to knowingly betray her country and her people. I know there is more to the efforts of the Unity Labor Party Government than that which meets the eyes or as members of the aged population (old people) will say: “there is more in the mortar than the pestle.”

I do not have to tell you that St. Vincent and the Grenadines is now the laughing stock of the every government and their people in the western hemisphere, even the ordinary man who was afforded the opportunity to examine this document are crying shame on us as a nation. Do you know that, associations such as the Netball, Basketball, Volleyball and other sporting association has stronger constitutions for the management of their affairs, when compare to the Constitution act 2009, which is to be used as the supreme law of a sovereign nation? This whole sorry affair is like a humorless joke and no one in their right senses is laughing.

Could Ralph and his cronies be so ignorant, that they will allow such a pathetic document to be put forward to the people, for our approval as the supreme law of this sovereign nation? Ralph Gonsalves is attempting to cause the realization of our greatest fears; which is, to trick us into allowing him to treat the people of St. Vincent and the Grenadines and their resources in the same manner he currently treats the office of the Director of Public Prosecution and the Police Force. Whatever his plans are, we cannot allow them to be realized; the price will be too high, even higher than the people of St. Vincent and the Grenadines should be allowed to pay. Mr. Eustace this is the reason we are relying on you to ensure that such do not happen.

I know that you are the people’s voice and you and your team have been working tirelessly to educate the people of St. Vincent and the Grenadines so that they could make an informed decision and vote against this snare (the constitution act 2009). I do not know your entire plans in accomplishing such an important task; however, at this late hour; I will like to make some suggestion which I hope you will give serious consideration to.

To lose an election due to fraudulent means to any political group, is one thing and although it is a serious infringement on honesty, democracy and the constitution; the stolen term will come to an end and the electoral process will come around once more, giving those who lose, the opportunity to take corrective measures thus ensure that such miscarriage of democracy not happen again. However to have the constitution act 2009 of St. Vincent and the Grenadines be approved in a referendum by fraudulent means carries with it, a far greater price and far more severe consequences.

I have taken the temperature of the situation on the ground and I have no doubt that the people will vote against enacting of the Constitution act 2009 in the referendum, and this will result in Ralph, and his evil intention (will) lawfully suffer a devastating defeated. However, I know for a fact, in this case the voice of the people will not be heard. I know that Ralph Gonsalves and his dishonest group have already put the machinery in place to secure a victory by fraud.

This is serious times, and a referendum victory even by fraudulent means only opens up the way for Ralph Gonsalves to ratify the necessary changes to the constitution to ensure that he enslave Vincentian in the same manner Hugo Chavez now enslaves his people using fear as his whip.

You have to understand that Ralph Gonsalves has too much to lose not to have the constitution act 2009 approved by the people he dislike and too often disrespect. There is no secret that the result in the referendum is an indicator of how the next general will go for the ULP Government. Ralph Gonsalves is fully aware that he cannot afford to have the reign of power pry from his fingers by the will of the people of St. Vincent and the Grenadines. He is fully aware that a new administration and a different Director of Public Prosecution, he could be made to stand trial for the rape and sexual assault of the police officer and the sexual assault of the Vincentian/Canadian human Rights lawyer. This is a chance he cannot afford and is not willing to take. I know that although Ralph’s victims are silent now, they are uncomplainingly awaiting their day in court.

Now, I will recommend that we call upon international observers, to over see the referendum; I will like to also suggest that you use your most trustworthy and vigilant of supporters to monitor the poles. These pole monitors must be very militant they should be outfitted with micro recorders and even mini video recorders to document any irregularity that may occur in the station before, during and after the voting. We do not want any ballot boxes to be discovered in any hiding places after the fact. In conclusion let me remind you of a fact I know you are aware that Ralph Gonsalves cannot be trusted; however I say again do not put anything pass him for Ralph Gonsalves is desperate and is willing to do anything to hold onto the reign of government at all cost.

Is Ralph Gonsalves and His Unity Labor Party Government Criminals?

Many people both within and without St. Vincent and the Grenadines are of the opinion; that the Ralph Gonsalves Unity Labor Party Government, its friends and supporters are involved in criminal activities, even murder. However, in some case a lack of evidence and a fear of becoming a victim have forced such people into a cocoon of silence. Notwithstanding the danger of becoming a victim, my inquisitive mind sent me probing and I have turned up some very disturbing facts. I will take my time and try to be as clear and concise as I possible can.

We have seen the untimely and violent death of Glen Jackson. It was no secret that Glen Jackson had an abrupt falling out with his political associates: Ralph Gonsalves and the Unity Labor Party; and in his disgust, Glen vowed to reveal to the public, certain information that would have been troubling to Ralph Gonsalves, his political party and his government. However, a few days after Glen Jackson made his intention known, and the day before he was to make his big revelation; Mr. Jackson was found dead in his vehicle. His murderers and their accomplices had taken the time to: ensure his body was clean, his place of death was never discovered, and no forensic evidence could be found: not on his clothes nor in his vehicle where his body was discovered; thus no trail was left linking the killers to Glen Jackson's murder.

I hope it did not surprised you that the police force, an institution that Ralph Gonsalves had turned into his personal poppet show, made an arrest; however, the arrest was not one that was based on the accumulation of evidence but one that was made only to quiet the fears and concerns of the population who had expressed outraged over Glen's death but most importantly, the arrest was designed to take the community’s attention away from the real killers. Although a young man was arrested, charged and stood trial for that crime, we all know that crime was way above the physical ability and financial capability of the defendant, in that; the physical strength that was required to move Jackson body to and from his vehicle to clean the carcass; the place and the cleaning material that was employed to clean Glen's body; all in an efforts to ensure no forensic or other evidence was found. The planning that went into concealing Glen’s place of death (the crime scene). All thses actions were far outside the suspect’s criminal intellect. This murder was one that involved a lot of planning and was masterfully executed. Therefore I must conclude that the individual who was arrested and tried for this matter was only a scape goat.

Then there was Peter Dennie: the Nice Radio staff who met his sudden, unexplained, violent death; another murder that was specific in its detail and execution. A crime and a crime scene that was void of any forensic or other evidence. There are other Vincentian who have met sudden arranged deaths; however, their names and the circumstances of their death will not be mentioned in this article for certain reasons.

There is Que Pasa, A man who is know to and in the drugs world; and a once friend and supporter of Ralph E. Gonsalves and his Unity Labor Party. A man who like Glen, had a falling out with his political associates: Ralph E. Gonsalves and his Unity Labor Party. Fortunately for Que Pasa, he has an ACE in the hole (information in strategic place which will be release if he is killed) hence the reason he is alive today.

Any time Que Pasa's menaces are able to chump, his ACE; he will be a dead man. I hope Que Pasa understand that every effort is being made to make his ACE in the hole null and void. Que Pasa is a marked man.

There was an incident, which occurred on the island of Dominica, that I always though was fishy, so after I left Bermuda in 2008, I journeyed to Dominica, where I did some snooping around (investigation). While there, I used my purposeful charming personality and I quickly became friends with the average man on the street, doctors, police officers, other professional and quite a few member of Dominica criminal community. When members of the criminal community discovered that I was from "Ganja Country:" St. Vincent and the Grenadines, many saw an opportunity to establish Marijuana connection etc. I spent two months on the Island of Dominica, all in an effort to uncover what was in my mind a mystery.

Everyone knows, that much attention is not paid to the violent death of a man or a woman with a colorful back ground; in other words, one who live a life of crime. Unfortunately such deaths are not given the level of attention they should be given and are often dismissed as the consequence of the life that individual lived.

Now that I have lay the foundation let me develop this discourse and get to the bottom of the matter at hand.

Recently the Press Secretary (PS) to Prime Minister Ralph E. Gonsalves: Hans King was experiencing marital problems. Unfortunately the trauma of the experience troubled the young man tremendously and negatively impacted his personal and social life; as well as, destroyed his ability to function in his professional life. To make the matter worst, the man who wooed his way into the heart and world of the PM press secretary’s wife; was one with a criminal back ground; and he was wanted by the United States Federal Government. With the help of the PS wife, Cecil Boatswain the individual in question, evaded the St. Vincent and the US authorities, but not for long; sometime later Cecil Boatswain was founded murdered on the Island of Dominica.

Because of Boatswain’s pass, his murder went down as a drug deal that went bad. But was it? Was Cecil Boatswain’s Murder the results of a drug deal that went bad? I emphatically say NO! Cecil Boatswain’s murder was retaliation on behalf of Hans King. The knowledge that Boatswain’s had resurface once again affected the Prime Minister's Press secretary ability to function. The comfort he had from knowing that Boatswain was dead (he got what he deserved) disappeared with Boatswain's reemergence (This information was known only by certain police in the intelligence Department and key politician).

I cannot say with certain who was responsible for arranging the hit (contacting and paying for Cecil's death) or where the money for the hit on Cecil Boatswain came from, (It may have been the treasury of St. Vincent for all that I know) but I can say with a degree of certainty that Boatswain’s hit man was a Jamaican, who resides in St. Lucia: Andrew Kirkpatrick Michelle, who was also contracted by the same source in September 2008 to perform another hit, on another unsuspecting victim who was in Dominica in September 2008.

The question I am unable to answer is: who ordered the hit on Cecil Boatswain? Was it ordered by members within the Unity labor Party or members of the criminal drugs community that provides financial and other supports to Ralph Gonsalves and his Unity Labor Party? On whose request was the hit ordered? I guess we may never know. But what I know for a fact is, Cecil Boatswain was killed on an order that came from St. Vincent in an effort to secure Hans King Sanity.
