Running For Cover Hiding Your Shame

After it was brought to my attention and after I verified the fact that the Bermuda Police Service saw it fit to counter act the article on the Crushing Fool blog, which was titled "The Puppet Master and his String Puppets. the article give (checkable facts) evidential explanation of the factors that lead up to my suspension from the Bermuda Police Service. anyone with common sense (which is not common) will realize this article is laced with truth. Yet the Bermuda Police Service want to tell intelligent people like you that I have misrepresented the facts, and they want you to to buy into their folly with out producing one shed of evidence to prove what they were saying was correct.

Do you really expect Commissioner George Jackson and his accomplices Superintendent Mike Jackman and Rondalph Liverpool to confess to the injustice they handed down to me, an injustice that saw the People of Bermuda bearing the cost. If these men were to admit that they abused the resources of Bermuda to do Ralph Gonsalves bidding, what do you think will happen to them?

If it can be proven that I was suspended and receiver full salary for six months without working for the monies I received; and such suspension was as a results of the people who were put in place to manage the island resources missed used such.

Let’s take a look of the series of events that lead to my departure from Bermuda and the commissioner’s release.

Any member of the St. Georges Seventh Day Adventist Church as well as the flight records for Jet Blue would confirm, that I was schedule to leave Bermuda at 12 pm on the 5th August 2008, on Jet Blue. However I had some unfinished business. Such as, the person who had purchased my car still had a quantity of money for me which was to be delivered to me when I hand over the car to her. My report to the Governor was not fully completed and was not yet in the hands of the Governor, the leader of the opposition, Wayne Furbert (who will be an independent in the Bermuda parliament in September 2008) and the Minister of Home affairs. This could be verified by checking with the royal Gazette printers on Burnaby Street in the City of Hamilton (who did the copies and binding for the report that is titled "A Standard for Change "‘A four Years Study of The Bermuda Police Service’). Which I took to the printers on Tuesday 5th August 2008, I collected the report and make arrangement to hand over the report to The Governor’s ADC on the 6th August 2008, who facilitated this process.
At 10 am on Tuesday 5th August 2008, Inspector Steve Donnelly came to my apartment at 12 Headquarters Hill Prospect Devonshire, Steve Donnelly informed me that he was asked to come and find out if I was still sick (I was recovering from a broken Coccyx bone, and a lower left hernia Repair). He also informed me that he is only the messenger. I politely informed inspector Donnelly, that as far as I am concerned I am no longer a member the Bermuda Police Service, and I am not entertaining visit from anyone who is representing the Bermuda Police Service. Steve Donnelly then left my apartment and went on his merry way.

How convenient for the Commissioner of Police to have said that he have terminate my employment from the Bermuda Police Force. This was done after I have submitted my report to the Governor of Bermuda.
This was done after Commissioner Jackson was informed by the governor (The commissioner of police immediate boss) of the report (which was prepared by me) he had before him; it was then that commissioner Jackson and his accomplices went into defensive mode and come up with the plan to try and discredit me, which was their original plan.
When you consider that I had submitted my resignation to the commissioner of police on June 4th 2008 to be effective on 5th August 2008; thus giving the Bermuda police service two months noticed not the one month required. Yet it was claimed that I was dismissed at a later date. The commissioner of police press release was damage control, and it was done in an effort to save face.

On Monday 4th August 2008, at 9:35 pm, I returned home from the Shillingford’s residence where I attended a Roti Night as my last celebration with them before I leave Bermuda. When I got to my apartment I discovered my door which I secured before I left home was opened, my light was on and my carpet was wet. I did not report this matter because I believe the person/people who entered my apartment was acting under the instruction of the Commissioner of police who was trying to delete the report I presented to the Governor, the leader of the opposition and the office of the minister of Home affairs etc. also he had his agent enter my apartment and deleted an incriminating recording of the meeting I had with him on that faithful day when they tried to set me up to breach the police confidentiality code, in order to justifiable terminate my service.

The strange thing is I loved, admired and had a great deal of respect for George Jackson (hence the reason the quality of my work was always outstanding). So much so that in the month of July 2006, when I went to St. Vincent and the Grenadines (the home land of Allan Palmer, Randy Liverpool and George Jackson) and I was invited to the Bernard John daily talk show, I proudly give life/bring recognition to George Jackson and his accomplishment to the People of St. Vincent and the Grenadines: so much so that the next time the George Jackson visited St. Vincent and the Grenadines he was given red carpet treatment by the Prime Minister of St. Vincent Ralph Gonsalves (who has an allegation of rape hanging over his head) hence the reason he felt a sense of obligation to do the dirty work of Ralph Gonsalves. Previously to this event, George Jackson who has been visiting St. Vincent and the Grenadines on numerous occasions and no one knew or recognized him.
It was hilarious to hear Commissioner of the Royal St. Vincent and the Grenadines Keith wood pipe Miller a man who have been mentally castrated referred to me as a trouble maker. Mr. Miller if having courage to standing up for my rights and the rights of those who cannot stand up for themselves, then without a doubt I will bear the title of trouble make with dignity and pride.

If by standing up to particular Superintendent of the RSVGPS try to get me involved in their corruption practices then I guess I am a trouble maker, If by challenging and making the commissioner of police of St. Vincent rethink his intention to forcefully make deduction from the salaries of the hard working men and women of that organization to purchase a Cherokee machine: then I guess I am a trouble maker.

If by instructing PC Let (a young police who was charged with the South Rivers Murder) to retain a lawyer of his choice, then I did all in my power to ensure that young Let other police officers (who got into trouble whilst acting in the line of duty) legal fees are borne by the Government of St. Vincent and the Grenadines: then I guess I am a trouble maker.

If ensuring that the three police officers (who were suspended arrested and charged with the Union Island homicide) were properly coached by the best before they attended the PI which the magistrate concluded had no charge to answer, then I am a trouble maker.

If when Ralph Gonsalves used the influence of then inspector Brewster and Sgt. Charles (men who received prominent and speedy promotion to senior ranks when the Ralph Gonsalves Labor party took government) who failed in their efforts to get me to have the men and the women of the R.S.V.G.P.S to join the impasse against the James Mitchell’s NDP Government then I guess I am a trouble maker. I can go on and on, but one thing I have never fought a bottle for my benefit.

Guess what? I am in good company, I am now associated with these important men who were considered trouble maker men like.
Martin Luther King was considered a trouble maker by prejudice white America and its then oppressive political system; however it was because Martin Luther King persisted even unto death, that today Barrack Obama can achieve such political accomplishment today.

Nelson Mandela was considered a trouble maker by the supporters of South Africa apartheid system; he who suffered the indignity of a twenty seven years jail term because he stood up for his rights and the rights of his people but later became president providing governance even over his oppressors.

P.M Ralph Gonsalves (Still has an allegation of rape and several allegation of Sexual assault hanging over his head).
George Jackson, Randy Liverpool and Mike Jackman are not the first people Ralph employed to do his dirty bidding to me; in St. Vincent and the Grenadines he employed Superintendent 313 Cornelius Charles who harassed me every day for about three months in the name of Ralph Gonsalves Vincent Beach and the Unity Labor Party.

Mr. Charles attack climaxed when he instructed Cpl. John the Prime Minister’s outrider (a man whom I save from a rape charge) to chump up bogus charges and take me to court as a defendant for something I did not do. Thank God truth, honesty, justice and integrity prevailed.

Cornelius Charles only stopped his daily harassment of me after he suffered a heart attack. It was then Mr. Charles declared to me "you are not going to kill me, I am transferring you". The next day I was transferred to Biabou Police Station.

To the Staff nurse (who will remain nameless) who suffered the indignity of being raped by the police officer named above, whom I use my influence and friendship with her to cause her to drop the alleged charges of rape; Please accept my apology.

To Ralph Gonsalves, Keith Miller, George Jackson, Randolph (Randy) Liverpool and Mike Jackman, my future is not and will never be defined by your small mentality neither will I be confined by your expectation for me. My future accomplishments will never be determined by you all. You all are/were just stumbling blocks but I am going to made you all into stepping stones. So sit back and watch.

Kellon Murder a Senseless lost

Yet another of Bermuda’s youth has met his senseless demised. The ridiculous murder of 18 years college student Kellon Hill, who succumbed to the blade of the murderer’s knife and was pronounced dead at the King Edward the 7th Memorial Hospital on the night of the 10th August 2008, have this peace loving community in anguish mode today.

The Friends of Kellon Hill the Bermuda Institute Graduate; are submerged in anger, hurt and sorrow; and this was expressed in the out-pouring of tribute of Bermuda’s youths who is trying to come to grips with the nonsensical murder of this young man.

Angela Can said, "The recent killings of Bermuda’s Youths tells me that the island youths needs guidance; Angela who is perturbed over the killing of the island’s youths, further said, I want to know what is going on with my young men, she also want Bermuda’s youths to know that she is praying for them all.

Jamal Brown who in his on line tribute to Kellon, spoke of is inability to sleep because of gruesome stabbing murder of his friend Kellon. Jamal further said; "dang! He was just about to leave for college then this happened; rest in peace Kellon".

Antonio Belvedere whose foul language expressed the anger that engulfed this young man over the brutal murder of his friend Kellon Hill said: "Bermy" (short for Bermuda) is shot (waste of time) it is pure bullshit y’all. The people on this 21 square miles island need to wake to "F" up and get a job and buy their own shit. Antonio words express what is believed to be the allege reason Kellon met his death. It is alleged that Kellon was kill after a gang of youths try to rob him of a gold chain he was wearing.

Kellon’s death marks the second murder for 2008, with four and a half months to go before the year end. I have estimated that Bermuda will see at lease four murders for the year 2008 if we are to follow the trend over the pass years.

It will be interesting to see the way in which the Bermuda Police Service is going to response to this recent murder. Are they going to do what is the usual? Which is to use the press to quite the fears of the people, informing the community via the press of their efforts to keep them safe; by conducting stop and checks giving the "OPERATION" a fancy name, arrest a few people for warrants while inconveniencing the other 80% of the law abiding community. Where was the BPS when Kellon needed to be kept safe?

This case seems like a very simple case; according to information received there were a large number of witnesses to this murder, let us see how long it is going to take the Bermuda Police Service to investigate this matter, affect a legitimate arrest, and charge the culprit or culprits without making a mess of this case as they did with the Rebbecca Middleton’s murder.

Crushing Fools blog and I will like to extend to the family of Kellon Hill our sympathy, it is our hope that God will send you all the grace, love, understanding and peace you all will need in your time of sorrow. I know the pain you bear is beyond my comprehension; but amidst all of your sorrow we wish you peace for your pain.

To the family of the perpetrator (s) of Kellon’s murderer; I pray that you also find comfort and understanding in your time of trouble, may God give your family the strength you all will need to provide support to each other, and the wisdom to understand the pain Kellon’s family is going through in their time of lost.

I know most of you are wondering what is happening to me. I am OK. I am giving the management of the BPS time to bask in the glory of their false sense of security they are finding comfort in. I will address the Bermuda Police Service press release in seven day. Be good Bermuda and cooperate with the police.

Readers Opinions on the Issue of Police & Mold

The following are comments that were posted on this blog on Two topics. Two comments were Posted on the 27/07?2008 and 6/08/2008, although one was left on tow different topics as anonymous it signed Patriot and the other was signed Pauletta. I am of the opinion that thay are worthy of their own posting.

Patriot

Mr. Palmer, I don’t know you and knowing who you are is not important. However I was in a particular business establishment having a social drink, when I overheard a conversation, I recognized two of the men that were involved in the conversation to be members of the P.L.P they were speaking of your Crushing Fools blog and you. I must admit, your writings have angered a lot of self acclaimed important people in Bermuda.

After listening in on the conversation for quite a while I quickly wrote the words crushing fools on a napkin. (Like most Bermudian I have a poor memory) When I got home, I did a quick search on Crushing Fools. I read with interest the online journals posted there; it was only then I fully understood the conversation the group was involved in.

Strange enough last week, (either the 29th or the 30th July 08), I was driving along Parliament Street, I drove pass the Hamilton Police Station (H.P.S); there I saw activities which suggested to me, they are replacing the carpet in that building. They were doing one of two things destroying the evidence or making a sorry attempt to create an environment suitable to working in. I will like to suggest that they were destroying evidence.

Do you know what the sad thing about your blog, your boldness and your honesty is? It is the fact that it took a foreigner to come to my country and started a shake up on this island. I would have liked for these issue to have been address by a strong Bermudian man (black or white).

I made some inquiries and discovered that there were quite a few names were left out of journal. All of whom were diagnosed with unexplained illnesses that was resulted from working in that plague-ridden building. I am going to get more names after which I am going to post them on this blog. I will be posting the full names. I hope you will see it fit to approve them when they are posted.

You have the Government of Bermuda, the Bermuda Police Service and the Bermuda Police Association running for cover. Please, I beg you keep them on the run, and thanks for being vigilant.

Wow! Anonymous, you are really missing the issue. One of the biggest points to think about here is that life and good health are much more important than money. Think about it this way, if a multi-millionaire was diagnosed with an incurable disease and had only five days to live, what would he most be concerned about. It's a no brainer, right? Of course, his life. I think this is exactly what Alan is trying to get us to think about.

Now on to the matter at hand - which has greater value money or life and good health. As I read this commentary, I sometimes wholeheartedly agreed with some of the views expressed and other times vehemently disagreed with others. Here are my thoughts.

*This article was thought provoking and intriguing. Many of the "facts" were researched and shown to be true. Facts and figures speak for themselves and hold weight.

*Throughout the article a myriad of questions were posed. I hope that in time they will be answered.*The bottom line is that life and good health far outweigh money.

*Why can't someone have money and life and good health? Why does it have to be or instead of and.

*I am glad that the BPS challenged the BDA Government to abide by the arbitration ruling. I firmly believe that if someone says something, then he/she should be held by it. After all, a person’s word is his/her bond. I am glad the BPA is holding the government accountable. It is long overdue.

Alan, you have clearly missed your calling. All the best in your future endeavors.

The Bermuda Police Association & the Issue of Mold

After members of the Bermuda Police Association have suffer death that can be attributed to working in an unhealthy environment, its members are continually becoming ill with all manner of life threatening diseases and after such a valiant display of strength with publicly defying the Government of Bermuda in a protest march; I refused to believe that the Members of the BPA executive committee and its members are afraid to do what is right in a life and death matter.

What is even more unfortunate is, the fact that after two years, of such a deadly revelation being brought to the attention of the Commissioner of Police the B.P.A and the Government of Bermuda; police officers are still forced to function in these tremendously unhealthy environment: Not only that, other citizens who are arrested are detained and kept in such environment also. The Government of Bermuda has an obligation to ensure that when an individual is arrested that individual is kept in a safe place, where no harm can come to him or her. Anyone that is arrested and is detained at the Hamilton Police Station automatically becomes susceptible to life threaten illness, and their chances increases depend on your medical disposition.

The Government of Bermuda are asking supposable intelligent men and women the members Bermuda Police Service to risk death and terminal illness while they perform their duties. This is a most idiotic request and it is only idiots who are going to follow such a request.

When it was discovered that the Cedar Bridge School was infested with mold; the Government without delay evacuated and relocated the entire school population. No one could have asked the teachers to function in such a condition. Why the members of the Bermuda Police Service are still operating in this unhealthy mold environment? The silence and willingness of the police to operate in such an unhealthy environment is testimony of the frailty and lack of courage of that institution. Or is it a situation where the prolong exposure to mold have already destroyed the police ability to think rationally?

This only goes to show how strong the Bermuda Police Association executive and members are. It also show how much respect the Government of Bermuda have for the Police Service the protector of the community.

Mr. Carl Neblett how many more officer have to die, become ill or have the near death experience before you develop the balls or the aptitude to do what is right and is required of you; your Officer need to be treated with more respect, they need to be relocated immediately.

The B.P.S, The Government of Bermuda, The Hamilton Police Station and the Issue of Mold

For many years, the working condition of the men and women who leave their country and journeyed to Bermuda to work as police officers were ignored but all; and for many decades the protectors of the Bermudian community were forced to execute their duties under working conditions and in buildings that were way below that which were expected from an underdeveloped country.

There are reports that a large number of retired police officers who were forced to exist and function in these edifices suddenly became very sick with all manner of terminal illnesses after leaving Bermuda. Today even after there were an unprecedented number of Healthy young man and women who after working in these same building suddenly became ill, some of whom die; yet no one cared enough to look into the plight of these silent suffers.

It was not until an article appeared on the Crushing Fools Blog on Wednesday 23rd July 2008 title “Which has the greater value Money or Life and Good Health” By Allan H.F Palmer, that heads began to hang in shame and embarrassment. The article revealed some staggering facts and statistics that terrify even the heartless. It was only then that the people in authority started showing some sign of consciousness and as was to be expected they went into their well Choreograph dance of brainlessness; as they claimed that no one knew that the conditions were that serious.

Three days later on 26th July 2008 the same article was published by the Caribbean Net News exposing to the Diaspora the filthy and deplorable conditions their sons and daughters were forced to exist and functioned under in the name of the almighty dollar.

On the 28th July 2008 a well written letter was published by the Caribbean Net News under the caption Mold in Bermuda Police Station. This letter was penned by Susan Brinchman who after reading my article was moved with compassion for the men and women who are and were suffering. Then this problem got further recognition when the Mid-Ocean News of Bermuda ran a front page story bringing to the front some very important concerns of the men in shorts (Bermuda Shorts is the official summer attire for the BPS).

Unfortunately The Bermuda Police Association have not seen it fit to address this very important life and death matter as yet. I hope that the Government of Bermuda decision to have cabinet review their stance on their Judicial Review, (their Civil protest to the decision arrived at in arbitration) has not placed a psychological mussel on the Bermuda Police Association. If this is the case, then I will have to conclude that money is indeed more important than Life and Good Health and our suffering was for nothing.

Which has the greater Value Money or Life & Good Health

When I saw my colleagues, the members of the Bermuda Police Service put down their batons and took to the street of the City of Hamilton in a public demonstration by marching in protest against what the Bermuda Police Association (B.P.A) considered as acts of blatant disrespect that was exhibited to its members by the government of Bermuda, I smiled with fascinated amusement.

There is no doubt, the protest action which was organized and executed by the Bermuda Police Association was in deed a historic occasion; in that; it was the first time (according to my research) in the history of the Bermuda, that the police have ever; publicly and knowingly participated in a protest demonstration of any type.

What was unfortunate however, was that fact that it took money to inspire the Bermuda Police Association management committee to motivate its members to take to the street in a sign of defiance to the government’s action. However this only occurred after the Government of Bermuda failed to comply with the outcome of the arbitration which both parties entered into with good faith. This act of paramilitary defiance; came after the government opts not to honor the outcome of the arbitration, but instead, seek leave form the Supreme Court to prepare a Judicial Review which is aimed at overturning the decision which was arrived at during arbitration.

While the Bermuda Police Association exhausts its energies and other resources to ensure its members are well compensated, they ignore an issue of astronomical proportion. This crisis has been affecting and will continue to affect the members of Bermuda Police Association and it is an issue of life and or death for the B.P.A members.

According to the executive summary of the May 2003 study which was conducted by Her Majesty’s Inspector of Constables (H.M.I.C) Mr. David Blakey, which states in paragraph 12 “Whilst officers have been given quite a range of safety equipment for use on patrol, they are less safe in the building that they work in, some of which are in contravention of the Health and Safety Code. H.M.C.I personal observation revealed not only was the building unsuitable and unsafe to work in and to take prisoners to, they were also in stark contrast to other government buildings in Bermuda.”

In recommendation 9, H.M.I.C recommended that the government of Bermuda examine its capital work projects to see if they can allocate funds to refurbish and or rebuild the police premises. H.M.I.C saw this issue as a serious problem that needed urgent attention to ensure the safety and welfare of all police, prisoners, and members of the public who visits and work in police premises.

The foresight and insight of H.M.I.C was tremendous. I am convinced that outgoing governor His Excellency Sir, John Vereka and out going Commissioner of Police Jonathan Smith knew of the reputation and trust the judgment of H.M.I.C hence the reason they commissioned H.M.I.C to conduct this study. Yet no one paid attention to the findings of in Her Majesty’s Inspector of Constable study.

I also managed to access a November 2006, air quality assessment study that was conducted by Bermuda Water Consultant ltd. (B.W.C) on the Hamilton Police Station. The revelation that is contained in this study is terrifying.

This study revealed that the ground floor of the Hamilton Police Station has a concentration of Mould and mould spores that is in excess of 29 times of the acceptable level. What was unfortunate however, is the fact that the report did not show the specific findings of the test that was conducted on the forth floor of the Hamilton Police Station in November 2006. This part of the Hamilton Police Station is where the Criminal Investigation Department is housed; it is believed, that this section of the building has the highest concentration of mold and mould spores than any other section in the entire building, so much so that the concentration of mould and their spores in this area, adversely affect the air quality to the extent that the air is tainted in that it transforms the air quality to a musty odor that permeate throughout entire vicinity.

According to the report there are seven different species of mould that inhabits the Hamilton Police Station which includes:
The Aspergillus is considered to be the most potent of the group; this mold produces among others, a toxin that is called Ochratoxin A, which is a key element in Kidney failure. This mold is also responsible for causing invasive and chronic pulmonary Asporgillosis which can lead to sudden and unexplained (if you do not know what to look for) death if allow to go undiagnosed.
a. Basidiospores
b. Ascospores
c. sercospora
d. caldosportum
e. curvularia
f. Smuits / Myxomycetes / periconia

Unfortunately there is not enough scientific study done on, or that is available to me on the other molds that will allow me to justify or match some of the other symptoms I have been hearing of.

I am therefore seeking answer for the following questions.

1. Could it be that the unexplained and sudden death of Timothy Herbert, Paul Marsden and Andrew Wooldridge (all healthy men, Marsden and Wooldridge were avid sports men) were as a results of a build up of toxin in their bodies which was resulted from prolong exposure to the mould infested police environment?

2. Could it be, that the sudden and unexplained diagnosis of severe kidney failure that was discovered in Emerson Donald, (who the medical professional predicted will have to be on dialysis in the next few years) was resulted from the prolong or periodic (some people has a disposition to become vulnerable to a toxin) exposure to mold and mold spores infested environment?

3. After all, when Donald complaint of becoming of ill when he was in certain police building; but found relief when he was out of those environment, it was recommended that Donald be evaluated for psychiatric abnormalities.

4. Could it be, that PC Donald body was giving him early warnings of an environment that was unhealthy for him; unfortunately no one took Donald seriously, not even the medical professional took this young husband seriously?

5. Could it be that the sudden diagnosis of Kidney failure in PC Julie is as a results prolong exposure to the mold infested environment (after all she worked at the Hamilton for quite a while) where she assigned?

6. What could have cause, the unexplained and sudden illness of my West Indian colleagues who had gone through a battery of medical testes just a few months earlier and was given a clean bill of health by his family medical practitioner and by the police doctor after a thorough review of his medical records to ensure that this young man was fit to come to Bermuda? Could it be his life threatening illness was as a result of a prolong exposure to a mold and mold spores environment?

7. Could it be, that the unexplained and prolong illness of PCs Raynor, Nurse and Smith, be as a results of the prolong exposure to the same unhealthy environment?

8. Could it also be, that the sudden and unexplained diagnosis of blood clod in both lungs of Wayne, be as a direct result of prolong exposure to the same unhealthy condition that all the others were and are exposed to? Although this could also be as a result of deep vain thrombosis; which I doubt.

For those of you who know PC Wayne as I do, PC Wayne is a fitness freak (jokingly speaking). However putting jokes aside, PC Wayne took his health seriously, he worked-out on a regular basis and he is careful with what he eat. After visiting with PC Wayne (who was thankful for being alive) he explained the whole unfortunate episode to me, which included the symptoms he was experiencing. P C Wayne’s symptoms were consistent to the symptoms that are associated with “Invasive and Chronic Pulmonary Asporgillosis” which are: slight fever, chest pain, coughing, tiredness and the excretion of mucus mixed with blood. Very often an excretion of mucus mixed with blood is a sign that there is blood present in the lungs; and anywhere in the body there is a presence of blood there can be clotting.

9. Could it also be that the unexplained diagnosis of PC Yard’s aneurysm, the unexplained and sudden heart attack of PC Ryan and the many more personnel who are suffering from unexplained medical complication was and is as a result of prolong and or periodic exposure to the unhealthy concentration of mould and mold spores infested environment the Government of Bermuda and the Bermuda Police Service requires that all police officers work in?

10. Could it be that the two occasions when Allan Palmer experienced the sudden inability to breathe during circuit training one severest bout that occurred while running the BPS training school steps (this was witnessed by Peter Clark who expressed concern) was also as a result of working for almost three years in contaminated environment?

11. Why did the B.W.C technicians felt the need to conduct follow up study on the 14th December 2006 on the 4th floor which houses the CID offices?

12. Why the B.W.C technician didn’t see the need to conduct follow up tests on the other floors and areas of the Hamilton Police Station.

13. Was there a post mortem done on Paul Marsden, Andrew Wooldridge and Timothy Herbert?

14. Did the pathologist order toxicology reports for these men?

A. If no, why not?

B. if yes, what was the results of that report?

C. was the total findings handed over to the family of these men?

D. can the B.P.A access these reports?

I have a sneaking suspicion that the report that was made available to the public was an altered copy; for one thing, the pages are not numbered.

15. This lead me to ask the powers that be this question, why didn’t you see it fit to give public access to the finding of the study, which was conducted on the 7th of November 2006 on the 4th floor of the Hamilton Police Station which is located at 42 Parliament Street, Pembroke and which houses the Criminal Investigation Department?

Why there were no test done on the other old (dilapidated) buildings that the Bermuda Police Service occupies?

Carl Neblett, I implore you to leave the fighting of the Government to your lawyers, there are more pressing and urgent matters for you and your association to be addressing, matters that needs your attention forthwith. These are far too many unanswered questions. I am recommending that you get in touched with each person whose name is mentioned in this article, including PC Emerson Donald, his lawyers Wakefield-Quin and Jack Thrasher, PhD (toxicologist). It is in the best interest off all involved that the members of the Bermuda Police Association is alive and in good Health to enjoy the hefty 7% retroactive back pay that is coming to them and the increase in salaries.

It is very important that you move quickly before the Government demolishes the building or the on going renovations completely rectifies the problem thus eliminating all possibility of ever recovering the evidence that can strengthen any case you and your B.P.A will be bringing on behalf of your members.

This study was ordered by the office of the commissioner of police, so it is fair to conclude that The Commissioner of Police knew of the findings of this report. It will also be fair to say that base on the potentially lethal finding of the study; the commissioner of police has an obligation to report his finding to the governor and to the government of Bermuda. if this is true why is it that the Commissioner of Police and the Government of Bermuda still have the members of the Bermuda Police Service still working in the death trap that is the Hamilton Police Station.

It is important to note that if any person dies as a result of complication cause by working in such environment then all involved should be charged for Acceleration of Death under section 282 of the criminal code.

282 A person who does any act or makes any omission which hastens the death of another person who, when the act is done or the omission is made, is laboring under some disorder, injury or disease arising from another cause; is deemed to have killed that other person.

I have a sneaking suspicion that the family of Paul Marsden, Timothy Herbert and Andrew Wooldridge has a wrongful death civil or a similar case against the Bermuda Police Service and the Government of Bermuda.

Change has Come Change Will Come

Is it true? are they for real? Is it true that certain people are planning to make an example of Allan H.F Palmer? Is it true that the plot is brewing in the secret corner of the authorities? The question that no one has an answer for is, how far is Mr. Palmer willing to go and what is he willing to endure? Lock me up, put me in Cuffs, put me in ur cells, and throw away the keys: yet I will not be afraid.

Change has come
By
Allan H. F Palmer

Walking through the dark “allies” of the pass, their darkness concealing my complexion, Afraid to look up for fear; that the white of my eyes will betray my place of safety Afraid of being discovered; making me vulnerable and a victim of those who fear the things they don’t know, the things they don’t like or the things they don’t understand.

Yesterday we could have, today we did, and tomorrow we must continue to be the people who are free to love each other regardless.

Yeah, and then the son shown through and presented himself as a champion of justice, peace and love, Wiping away the mentality that allow injustice to divides us, prejudice to separate us and intolerance to motivate actions that hurts feelings, minds, and take life. A prejudice that cause suffering of the victims as well as the aggressor.

Yesterday we could have, today we did, and tomorrow we must continue to be the people who are free to love each other regardless.

Then came a better day a day of discovery, a day that illuminated the dark allies of the pass; and there I discovered that it mattered not that we look different, the shades of our skin, the contours of out faces, the shapes of our heads, colors of our eyes and our physical features are not the same,

Change have come, Yesterday we could have, today we did, and tomorrow we must continue to be the people who are free to love each other regardless.

We have come a long way; we have learnt to look beyond our physique and peer into the souls of our brothers and sisters and see the content of the hearts and the quality of each character. Today we walk hands in hands constructing future with bricks of equality and timbers of tolerance, constructing a foundation of love, peace and joy.

Change have come, yesterday we could have but yesterday have long gone and cannot be change, today we did, the efforts of today charts the courses of tomorrow; for tomorrow we must continue to be the people who are free to love each other regardless.

.The Puppet Master & his String-puppet

The Commissioner of Police George Jackson

Superintendent of Police: Randolph Liverpool

Article as published on the Caribbean Net News on 26th June 2008
www.caribbeannetnews.com

Each time an honest man or woman stands up against or lends a voice of objection against wrong or injustice, he or she can expect to be prosecuted for his actions. And anytime an individual stands up against and or lends a voice of objection against Ralph Gonsalves, he or she can expect a particular mode of revenge; which is, he will use his position, his office and or his influence, to victimize that or those individuals.

We have seen this in the unfair and premature dismissal of Mr. Cummings, (ex-manager of the Central Water and Sewage authority who moved that government own corporation from a debt plagued institution to a profitable institution) Major Leacock (the man who also took the indebted Vinlect and turn it into a profitable multimillion dollar government corporation) and the hundreds of New Democratic Party (N.D.P) supporters that were unfairly and prematurely dismissed because of their allegiance to the N.D.P. We have seen the unfair transfer and punishment of staff nurse Janice Lewis for reporting finding of a STD in a mother and a daughter that infected by …….. Let me shut my mouth before one of St. Vincent and Grenadines big bad wolves sues me.

However anytime an honest individual speak in the name of justice and it is against the big bad sorry big dirty wolf and chief victimizer (the one who is responsible for creating victims) then we know there ought going to be repercussion.

When I first heard of the allegations made by the female police officer against the Prime Minister of St. Vincent and the Grenadines Ralph Gonsalves and when I heard of Ralph’s efforts to pervert the course of justice, I wrote my first article which was titled “Let Justice be done in St. Vincent. I have been sending this article to the News, news paper, the Search light and the Vincentian for a month before I had the Article published on Caribbean Net News. Up to today’s date (19:06:2008) none of the news paper (who normally gives me a voice) has published that article. Thanks to Caribbean Net News the oasis in a desert of injustice.

However, after my article (Let Justice Be Don in St. Vincent, The Arms of the Law, the Psychological effects of Rape etc.) was published and was read on nice radio, a series of events began to happen to me on my job right here in Bermuda. Yes the Prime Minister’s friend from Georgetown Randy Liverpool Superintendent of Police and his new found friend George Jackson Commissioner of Police launched an all out attract against me.

My cell and home phone was tapped, listening apparatuses was placed in my room, and tracking devises was installed on my car, I was followed twenty four (24) hours a day for three months. There are three police officers who had become the target of the Bermuda Police Service all for different reasons, but I Allan H.F Palmer I became public enemy number one.

Ever since I publicly declared (this declaration was done in the presence of one of my country men) my intention to help the alleged rape victim fight for due process and my fail submission to have my first article published by the news Paper in S.V.G. George Jackson and Randy Liverpool have been trying to proof their allegiance to the Prime Minister by trying to have me fired and they had to make it look legitimate. As a matter of fact they have turned me into a folk hero here in Bermuda, in this case a symbol of strength one that is not afraid.

After the Royal Gazette reporter Sam Strangeway did a front page story of me and my blog, giving me credit for my work on the blog. This angered the comrade’s and his friends. They had to do something to stop this man (Allan H.F Palmer).

So the guys came up with a master plan. They arranged a beautiful girl (whom I was friendly with, also what they offered her I don’t know) to called and request some insignificant information form the police system. Although the information was insignificant I was aware that the Bermuda Police Service has ways and means of cheaply dispensing such information. So I decided to complete the documentation for the young lady and I encouraged the pretty face young lady to use the system as is provided for these purposes.

At 1:30pm that day I was summoned to Commissioner of Police George Jackson’s office for a meeting. And these are the words he said to me. And I quote “You have been embarrassing the Prime Minister and the Government of St. Vincent you must stop it or we are going to take action against you. However I am here to warn you that you will be on suspension pending the outcome of the investigation. Your suspension papers have already been drawn up and you will be served today.” I then asked the reason for my suspension, it was then I was told that I have violated the police confidentiality act. This was so funny that I laugh heartily. Thank God for my trusty micro digital recorded.

Soon after they were informed that I did not fall for the plot, I was excused from the meeting and sent back to my work with a compliment of how good a worker I am. A few weeks later I was suspended on the allegation that I have disobeyed a direct order from the Commissioner of Police, (an alleged order which was given in the meeting I mentioned above) and I have been on suspension for the last 5 months. I was suspended on an allegation that I disobeyed a direct order from the Commissioner of Police; yet their were PC Glen Kellman who was investigated, charged and prosecuted for Grievous Bodily Harm. Their were then PC’s Fox, Miguel, Mitchell, Baghawn, and Telemaque all of whom was investigated, charged and prosecuted for a series of criminal offences, which included Assault Bodily Harm, Attempted to Pervert the Course of Justice etc. There were also PC Dennis Archer who was investigated, charged, prosecuted and convicted for causing Grievous Bodily Harm on his girl friend yet, none of these police officers who stood trial for criminal offences were ever suspended, but were allowed to continue to perform duties in the capacity of a police officer. Yet I was suspended for a simple allegation.

No police officer in any part of the world has an obligation to comply with a direct order from any senior officer if he knows that order is unlawful. This can be found in any police act and it is in the Bermuda Police Service Act 1974.

Can you imagine that after sustaining a broken coccyx bone and having a surgical procedure done on me that I am going through all of this? Yes I am presently on sick leave for two very painful conditions yet I have got to go through this. Mr. and Mrs. Palmer did not bring up any weakling who run and hide his head in shame at the first sign of disappointment. I am from bottom town I have no shame and why should anyone be ashamed for doing what is right. This whole series of event was the catalyst that revived and invigorated me.

I am not writing this article to invoke your sympathy; I may have to walk away from a job, but for me life will go on. But instead I implore you to give your sympathy and empathy to the young police officer who was allegedly striped of her dignity by her beloved leader, give it to the young human rights lawyer who had allegedly suffered the indignity of her body being violated, and give it to the hundreds or probably thousand of underage and other women who were violated sexually and otherwise by those who were put in place to make their lives better. Dr. Gonsalve I may have to walk away from my job and that is quite OK, but just remember that God is so good, he does not ever asleep and I am still his favorite child.

In service to Humanity

Tanya A Bermudian Queen of Hospitality

A few months ago I met a beautiful young lady by the name of Tanya, (a shy woman) after our first conversation we share with each other our contact numbers. Tanya and I became very good friends. As our friendship grew I invited Tanya to attend church with me and she accepted the invitation. I was happy that she did. One of the bible workers asked Tanya if she will like to learn more about Jesus and offered to conduct bible studies with her which she accepted.

Two months after I met Tanya I had to do a surgical procedure. The doctor asked me if I will like to do this procedure as an in-patient as an out-patient. Although I was willing to comply with whatever the doctor recommend as his knowledge of these things far superseded my insignificant research on the condition. Without an understanding of what is required for an out-patient recovery, on hearing these choices the masculinity in me stepped in and I choose to have the procedure done as an out-patient.
Tthe doctor explained if I am going to be an out-patient I need to have someone with me at the hospital and to ensure I got home safely after the procedure. This in itself created a problem, after all I am in a foreign land no family and all of the people I can consider my friends in Bermuda is caught up in making a living. (In Bermuda when it comes to livelihood and friendship most people will put livelihood first)

I searched my mind, and my only hope was Tanya. When I made the request to Tanya, she made a few phone calls shift her business around then assured me she will be there. The arrangements were made. The plan was after the surgical procedure I will go to Tanya’s house until the effects of the anesthetic stop affecting me, and then I could drive home.

To my great surprise when I stopped feeling the effects of the anesthetic, I discovered the pain was so tremendous, I was unable to stand. For the first time in my life I was at the mercy of a person that was not a close family member or a close friend. Thoughts raced through my head at the speed of light. What am I going to do? I asked myself.

And then like the voice of an angel I heard the words, if you will like you can stay here and I will take care of you until you are better. Could it be true, is Tanya offering to take care of my in my state of helplessness. The pride in me wanted to reject the offer but the reality that confronted me caused me in humility to say thanks with a grateful heart.

I must say that Tanya took care of me as if I was her close family. I will forever be grateful to her. Tanya is a woman of class, a symbol of Bermudian hospitality, Yes Tanya is truly a young woman with the scarce quality the Bermudian of yesterday possessed and were proud of. Thank you very much Tanya.

Hilton Davis Master Builder of Yesterday with Skills for today

Hilton Davis is a master builder, who specialized in the construction of old Bermudian stone houses, with all of the fancy décor that contribute to the uniqueness of these masterpieces. Uncle Hilti as he is affectionately called by his close friends acquaintances and family are always in his workshop working on a new project. Hilton along with his wife are two of Bermuda’s most hospitable people.

Hilton who is now retired is still kept occupied by bringing to life the little things that find their way into his imagination. Hilton can also be considered a miniature maker. Hilton enjoys making reduced duplication of people homes, making them into post boxes. Can you imagine having a post box in front of your house that looks exactly like your house?

Among the things Hilton makes and decorates with stones are flower pots, moon gates, post boxes, imitations fireplaces, center tables, planters and a host of his handiwork that will leave you spellbound and amazed.

Hilton and his wife illys are also involved in what he calls container planting/farming. Hilton is always trying out new ideas. Hilton has mastered the art of planting a variety of herbs and vegetables in one (1) square foot area utilizing a very limited amount of space. You can find his field of strawberries in what he calls a planter, occupying just one square foot of space.

With his limited space Hilton and Illys has successfully cultivated flowers, vegetables, and fruits crops; crops which his friend very often partake of. Above are some photos of the products of Hilton Davis’ hand. Some of the sweetest strawberries I have ever eaten were harvested from a planter in Hilton’s back yard. These fruits were harvested and enjoyed by me with Hilton’s generous permission.

Mr. Davis can be contacted at: 441-236-1480

Rhiana Moore’s Murder a visible threat against women and children

Rhiana Moore’s Murder a visible threat against women and children

The Murder of Rhiana Moore has once again highlighted the exploitation of two of society’s minority and weaker sect. For years many civilize countries, there governments and Non Government Organization (NGO) around the world have been trying without success to change the mindset of the people and curb the what appears to be an out of control occurrence that often raises its ugly head. It is time for violence against Children and violence against women to stop.

With one inconsiderate act of the murderous hand that cause the death of a 14 year old female child Rhiana Moore, has brought to the forefront the perpetration of violence against women and children two of societies minority and in most cases defenseless foe.

These two societal sect are often the victim of countless abuse in the name of love and disguised as other means of concern etc. these victims are made to suffer in silence because of the stigma and shame that is associated with being a victim. Rhiana’s death should be the last straw and should be used as a catalyst to motivation this community to champion a worthy cause, which is to stomp out from this community violence against women and children.

I was shocked but not surprised that the death of this female child did not meet the outcry of the concern Government official or the necessary NGOs that operate within the Bermuda Community. NGOs that daily work diligently for the betterment of children though mentoring programs etc.

This helpless child had met her end in a manner that no child in any community should have to confront. It is time that the member of this Bermuda community found their voice and come forward and lend heart and voice against violence against women and children. It is the duty of any civilizes community to lookout for their women folk but more so their children after all we must come to the realization that the children are the future of Bermuda. If this is so, what future does Bermuda have if the futures of this country are constantly becoming victims of abuse of one form or another with no one to champion their cause?

The children and the island the females needs a champion will that champion be you?

Bermuda day 2008 A fun day for me.

A fun day

The 24th of May 2008 was very significant for me; this is so because it is the last Bermuda day I will spend in Bermuda. Today 26th May 2008 I got a piece of everything. I got to sit with my friends Sheridan, and Wakeel Ming, along with the other members of the Restoration Seventh Day Adventist Church; together we enjoy the splendor, pageantry, and the array of Bermuda’s talent that parade the streets of Hamilton. After which I join my brothers on wheel and participated in the parade performing tricks on my roller blade to the crowd delight. I did splits, spins and a verity of fancy foot work. All in all I had fun as a spectator and as a participant in the Bermuda day parade.

The Ugly head of Violence.
On my arrival at Bernard’s Park, I saw the crowd began to run, I observed that the people who were on the base ball field and who were trapped in by the fence were trying to get out of that area. A woman who recognized me as a police officer informed me of the occurrence and volunteered to take care of my rollers blade while I go and help the young man who was being beat upon by a gang of his peers. As a police officer (though I am on suspension) I still have an obligation to lend a hand of protection to any member of the community who is in need, even if it means confronting the danger alone. After I skillfully scaled the fence that enclosed the base ball field and after I identify myself as police officers the assailants made off. The victim who was blinded by his own blood was fighting viciously even after his attackers had left. But with the help of a Bermuda fire Service personnel (whose name I do not know) and other helpful member of the community we managed to restrain the aggressive youth and took him to a place of safety.

Before, during and after this incident there were no police to be found in the area where the public had gathered to celebrate such an auspicious national event. It was about half an hour after the fact, and after the assailants had left the scene the Calvary rolled in, in a number that represented total over killed which is the usual thing.

Anyone who knows anything about preparing for an event of the magnitude and significance as the Bermuda day celebration, strategic and contingency planning is paramount, and this should include the strategic deployment of uniform police office, the uniform officers are and will be the first response in prevention and dealing with any foreseen and or unforeseen antisocial behaviors that may pop up.

As soon as the Bermuda Police Service release me from my contractual obligation I am going to submit a detail report to the Governor who have responsibility for the running of the Bermuda Police Service and the to minister of Home Affairs who has the responsibility for national security and public safety. In this report I will outline my observation as it relates to the weakness, short comings, and negligence which is spur on by ignorance, that adversely affect the Bermuda Police Service ability to effectively provide the level of protection the people of this Island needs and deserves, but first things first.

After all Bermuda day was a fun day for me, I socialized with friends, I had fun on my blade, and I confronted danger to help a member of the community. today was truly a Bermudaful day, and I could not have asked for a better day. Thanks Bermuda.

My New Found Heroes

My new found Heroes

On Wednesday 30th April 2008, I was invited to a sport meet which was being hosted by the Dame Marjorie Bean Hope Academy at the National Stadium. The little crowd of spectators and participant that gather there were a testament of dedication.

The teachers, family members and friends of the students and friends of the academy all represented a strong symbol of love and dedication to the children all of whom suffer from a form of mental and physical disability or impairment of some kind.

Some of the children are unable to do anything for themselves and are thus totally reliant on their parents to do everything for them, activities which ranges from feeding to cleaning their children. I cannot say for sure but, I can imagine that these relationships can be stressful on all of the parties involved.

But what struck and touched me most, was the level of love and commitment these parents show to their children and the level of pride that was displayed not when their children won an event (because it was not about winning or losing) but when they displayed an effort to accomplish the given event. If I was to make a judgment based on the pride I saw in the eyes of the fathers, the mothers, the well-wishers and the staff of the Dame Marjorie Bean Hope Academy for the student’s efforts, I would have thought that these were normal children. But such is the results of love. This was a perfect representation of the saying love knows no boundary.

I always thought that I was/am a good father, but to see these parents in action, through the complexity of the challenges they face with daily. These and the way they care for their children made me rethink my position of being a good father. Anyone can be a mother or a father to a normaland or healthy child but it takes a special renovation in character to be a dedicated parent to one of these child/children. I guess that is Why God is God and need no help being God. He entrusted these children to parents with such impeccable character that it matters not the limitation of the children, they are assured that they will be loved as if he or she had no limitation.

I tip my hat to you all, the parents, friends, and relatives of the students and the staff of the Dame Marjorie Bean Hope Academy, you have put me to shame, you all have thought me some new and vital lessons of life, but most of all you have shown me the new level to which I must attain.

I must say I had fun at the sports meet, I cheered, I competed (yes I was beaten by some of the kids) and I helped in what ever way I could. But what I would have really liked to have done was to enter the hearts and mind of the parents. I do not have any heroes but my experience at that sport meet has given me some. My heroes are the men and women who parent these children, Why; because they show joy in the middle of their difficulty, they show courage even when they should have been broken, and most of all they stand up and take on the type of responsibility that most people will run away from.

On Charge, On trial, On target,

Well at 5:15 pm on Tuesday 6th May 2008, I was served with a charge sheet containing six (6) charges for an internal trial to be held by the Bermuda Police Service. These charges will give me an opportunity to vindicate myself and test the way the Bermuda Police Service does business in the future.

It is strange, that everyone is of the opinion that this whole trial was concocted or was rigged and even if I present a winning case I will be found guilty. Most people believes it is not about justice but it is about covering up the lack of intelligence, lack of ethics, to beat their chest over a victory they lie to gain but most of all to keep the other black West Indians subject to fear and afraid to express themselves and to use their intelligence at is present now.

It has been almost four months since I was suspended from the Bermuda Police Service and during this time, Bermuda Police Service seems to be dragging their feet in having my matter processed speedily; although this investigation was finished about two months ago. But God have blessed me with wisdom which I use to speed the process along, so I decided to put things in place to get this process on the way and to prove to all that the Commissioner of Police Mr. George Jackson, and Mike Jackman to be men of little or no integrity.

I knew it was up to me to get the ball rolling or I will be on suspension for the next year plus. So I took a six (6) minutes recording out of a 15 minutes meeting I had with the commissioner of Police and Mike Jackman and played the same to a very ambitious police officer. Giving the impression that the six minutes clip which ended abruptly was all I have and all I have been banking on, I knew that this individual will use this supposedly moment of weakness as an opportunity to advance his/her career by bringing to the Commissioner of Police’s attention the flaw in my recording. It was just a couple of days after I make this individual privilege to my recording I was served with papers for a trial, thus proving my theory to be correct, that “ambition has no friends or knows no loyalty.” Some may say that is an opportunist.

I guess now I have been charged I can get the opportunity to vindicate myself after which I can make the said recordings and the statements available to the press thus showing the whole of Bermuda and the world the quality of men that are at the helm of the Bermuda Police Service. Now I am very much satisfied that I am going to have my day at a trial. After which I will be granted the green light to release my recording.

There were three police officers who felt uncomfortable taking the garbage that is fed to the West Indian on a daily basis. There were Peter De Freitas who was made to resign quietly after he was set up by the BPS. Michael Hayles who is in danger of not having his contract renewed and there is Me Allan H.F Palmer who almost suffered the same fate as De Freitas.

Unlike most people I am not worried about my post as a police officer in the Bermuda Police Service. It does not worry me; I do not care to be employed with the Bermuda Police Service or being supervised by such men. My action should have given you that indication.

I did not become a police officer yesterday. Every one who knows me knows that I am a brilliant police officer. Let me asked you all a question; what happens when a small police officer out police the big boys? “You get action”.

I guess this posting is going to see another set of charges laid against me, after all on Thursday 1st May 2008; I was served with documents ordering me to comply with the following instruction:

Remove all post from my bolg/webpage that make reference to the Bermuda Police service or its officers

Desist from posting any further articles on my blog/webpage as it regards to the Bermuda Police Service and its officers

And I must remove from public view and advertisement posted on the rear of my private motorcar.

As it relates to order (3) three I was not aware that it was illegal or unlawful for a police officer to advertise a commodity, service, a publication etc.

As it relates to the other two orders, I will address the matter of attempted censorship as it relates to the BPS effort to violate my protected rights under the constitution of Bermuda. Chapter 1 sec.1 and subsection (b) of the Constitution of Bermuda that deal with the fundamental fights and freedom of the individual which clearly states:

Fundamental rights and freedoms of the individual
1 Whereas every person in Bermuda is entitled to the fundamental rights and freedoms of the individual, that is to say, has the right, whatever his race, place of origin, political opinions, color, creed or sex, but subject to respect for the rights and freedoms of others and for the public interest, to each and all of the following, namely:

(b) Freedom of conscience, of expression and of assembly and association.

Section 9 (1) which deals with the freedom of expression without interference to receive and impart (share) ideas and information and my freedom from interference with my correspondence, that is clearly outlined below under the heading “Protection of freedom of expression.

Protection of freedom of expression
9 (1) Except with his consent, no person shall be hindered in the enjoyment of his freedom of expression, and for the purposes of this section the said freedom includes freedom to hold opinions and to receive and impart ideas and information without interference, and freedom from interference with his correspondence.

I do not have to explain to you the uninterrupted rights that are awarded to me by the constitution of Bermuda. I have never disobey a lawful instruction in my policing career, in the same breath I do not have a problem ignoring an order that I can prove to be unlawful or illegal if such an order is not in the public’s interest.

If You Have Nothing Good to Say Please Say Nothing

As promised I was going to write about the two men whom I referred to as opportunist, men whom I also referred to as men who are willing to sell their soul to the devil to attain the post of commissioner of Police in charged of the Bermuda Police Service, Men in the Person of Randolph Liverpool and Mike Jackman. But after considering what good will it serve to exposing these men weakness before the public, stripping them of whatever dignity they have left and God knows they did not have any to begin with.

Unfortunately these men have leave themselves vulnerable to people like myself who possessed an over active sense of curiosity that always seems to lead me to look into things I have no reason to get into. Well that is the nature of the man Allan Palmer.

My parents taught me that if I have nothing positive or good to say about a person say nothing. Although this piece of advise seems to cause impostor’s to indulged in there scams of trickery and deceived unsuspecting innocent people. They have also taught me not to say anything about a person in his absence that I will not say in his or her presence. Base on the counsel of my parents I will restrain my self from speaking of Mike Jackman’s lack of policing and managerial ability and I will not endeavor to speak of Randolph Liverpool’s uncanny and refined ability to undermine his bosses even in public places. (remember all of these are provable facts) I have learn a very long time ago never to rely on my memory but to rely on my trusty recorder to aid my memory in time of need.

I will use my next posting to address my candidate for commissioner of Police of the Bermuda Police Service. This is a man who has proven over and over that he is in love with his community. Not people like Liverpool and Jackman who takes and takes and takes from Bermuda and never give back, but one who finds time to give back to his community in so many ways. A man whom I think Bermuda Police Service needs to change the business as usual attitude that the institution is currently stocked in.

Competence v/s medocrity

Yet another young Bermudian have lost his life at the hands of one of his country men, once again another senseless murder have occurred, an unwanted event that send shock wave throughout the Island and send the citizen into a state of fear just like what happened in December and so many times before that. Yet again the Citizen of this normally tranquil island has justified reason for concern.

And once again the Bermuda Police Service (BPS) will embarked on one of its many stop and check operation and give it some fancy name such is operation take back the streets, or protect the community; literally turning Bermuda into a “Police State” all of which is just window dressing, this is just the BPS way of convincing the community and themselves that they are really making a difference, but in the process they only seek to inconvenience law abiding citizen who make a remarkable contribution to the development of this very economically stable community. Yes a few people will be arrested for some fifty dollars warrants, and they will suffer the indignity of being put into hand cuffs, placed into a police car, and taken to the nearest police station where they will be detained until that fine is paid.

I must say that these operations do not help in making Bermuda a safer place to be. It only makes the community who may have possible information which can or may help in their investigation even more reluctant to come forward and provide the necessary information. Tell me, how can the Bermuda Police Service justify setting a chap to snag an individual for a fifty dollar warrant while a murderer is out there on the loose. In other words these operations are only opportunity to get press coverage, thus giving the community the impression that the police are doing something to make the island safer. The Bermuda Police Service specializes in window dressing. I see the present Bermuda Police Service as a reactionary institution rather then a proactive institution.

Another quality I observed in the Bermuda Police Service is, although the service has a systematic method of promoting individuals, the people who put themselves up for promotion (by doing the police promotions examination) are the mediocre constables and other ranks who are looking for a way out of performing duties they do not feel/or is not competent doing. And so they look for quick upward mobility hoping to get away from the responsible of their present rank. In other words although the present promotion system is very unambiguous, it leaves to much room for the promotion of incompetence.

Take for example Sergeant of Police Gregory Grimes and Inspector of Police Hillary Beckles. These are the two most knowledgeable police officers in the BPS unfortunately these two men work at a standard that upset a lot of the higher ups. (they are not perfect don’t get me wrong) These are two men who perform their duties by the book, and in the process they ensure the community rights are safeguarded and the officers under their supervision develop a standard of professionalism that is synonymous with a good police officer. I must confess these two men are even more competent then most of the officers above their rank. Police officers from every department call these two men for advice and information as it regards to the law the application of law and court and police procedures.

Mr. Grime’s reluctance to seek upward mobility has placed him in a position where he is supervised by men and woman far less competent than he is; when a difficulty arises or when the shit hits the fan, these people can be seen locked inside Mr. Grime’s office seeking his advice, his opinion and his expertise.

The Bermuda Police Service is totally afraid of competence, innovative or independent thinkers; but most of all they are afraid of people who have a keen sense of their human rights and are willing to confront any issue of that nature and in the process maintain their dignity. Take for example Michael Hayles a Jamaican national, who have stood up on two occasion for his rights, once when he was asked to perform undignified duties (duties that the Bermuda Police Service have contracted a private/independent contractor to deal with) and the other where he file a report against a white police (inspector) officer who had allegedly use racial slurs and discriminated against him. For confronting these two issues Michael contract renewal is threaten. Yet the Bermuda Police Service is willing to renew the contract of less competent officers but not Michael Hayles. In this era of increase criminal activities, Bermuda wants only competent, independent, innovative Police Officers to enforce the law in this blessed country.

The management of the Bermuda Police Service must put away their personal petty feelings and do what is best for Bermuda. After all the exempt companies who invest millions of dollars in this island, the tourist who visits Bermuda and spends their hard earn money, who in turn expects to be safe, the local business community who invest in this country, also every citizen and resident deserved the best police officers working on this island that Bermuda can afford. Not mediocrity. The national security of a country and the protection of it’s’ citizens is not a game for small men with tiny mind and big egos; it is a job for intelligent mature adult that are able to make hard decisions even at the sacrifice of their personal preference and ego. After all we are speaking about matters of life and death for the whole community.

The post of commissioner will be made vacant soon, and there are a few ambitious men who are willing to do anything for that job, I know three of these men. I will take time out to give my opinion on two of them; these are the two who are willing to sell their souls to the devil for the post of Commissioner of Police of the Bermuda Police service. I will start with Superintendent Mike Jackman Then I will deal with Randolph Liverpool. then I will deal with My candidate will be a surprise and I will deal with him last. (all this is dependant on if there is no further development)

What Is Superintendent Mike Jackman and his Bermuda Police Service is up to now

What Is Superintendent Mike Jackman and his Bermuda Police Service is up to now
It is no secret that the Bermuda Police Service was following me during the early part of my suspension. And it is no doubt that they are monitoring my phone (cell and domestic line) as well as my Internet communication. Yet this knowledge does not have any impact on my psychic. That is because I am a strong man and trivial occurrence no matter how significant Mike Jackman and all whom he encourages to join him in his dirty games (will soon learn their lesson) do to me.

Now let me get into the meat of this discourse.

On Tuesday 8th April 2008 I finally decided to take the Bermuda Police Service to court. So on Wednesday 9th April 2008, I contacted a lawyer, and I make an appointment to see the registrar or some legal professional in that office. All of the arrangement was done on my cell phone or my home phone (both of which is being monitored by the Bermuda Police Service). These unexpected moves on my behalf cause a panic in my exploiters that have too much to lose if their unprofessional behavior is made known.

I know Superintendent of Police Mike Jackman and his boys are up to something which may have something to do with the sudden disappearance of my Pass Ports, which will be the subject of my next discourse. I know the sight of me and my courage make these coward men tremble with fear and my persistence get them nervous.

I am wondering are you all planning to find another woman to entrap me, just like the young lady (whose name I will not mention here) you all set up to asked me for information from the Bermuda Police Service computer (which my honesty and professionalism could not and will not allow me to do) in hopes that you can cause my dismissal. Most people always think that everyone is unethical and dishonest as they are; hence the reason why they try to use their weakness to cause the other downfall.

Whatever your plans are, just be sure that the worst thing that can happen to me is you can conspire to have me incarcerated and I am not afraid of that. Don’t forget that I am from Bottom Town in St. Vincent and I grow up among the roughest and the toughest, the Caribbean has got to offer. (It is the popular opinion based on where I am from that I should be impression, but look at me) I have been doing bottle all of my life and I always rise like cream to the surface. Even when the odds are stock against me as they are now. I always seem to rise, you see when a man is in a position with his back against the wall and he has nothing to lose what he won’t do? That is something to think of.

Please remember that:

AMBITION
Ambition is not bending over backwards, to fulfill the dreams others have dreamt for you; it is having the courage to dream your own dreams and the will to pursue them, no matter what happens.

Ambition is not walking the clear safe path, just because it is the road that is convenient for the crowd; it is having the will to make a road, where the majority thinks it is impossible.

Ambition is not accepting destructive criticism, when it is aimed at discouraging one’s effort; it is being able to laugh at the critics and work hard to prove that they were wrong.

Ambition is not being afraid of failure.
It is realizing that failure is just another word, used to describe a person who was afraid to try and try and try to achieve the attainable.

Ambition is not giving up on your difficult goals, because success always seems to evade you; it is following your dreams, even if you think, they are unattainable; remember, miracles can still happen.
